Three days later and JJ was laying down with Kiara on the couch at the chateau. She was on top of him and they were making out. He was nervous the whole time.

He was having the same problem he had last time.

"JJ" Kie said, disappointed as she sat up. "Seriously is something wrong?"

"Nothings wrong" he said, leaning up a little and shaking his head "It's really nothing, I just.. can't focus"

"Cant focus?" Kie said, confused.

"Like- I'm just" He stumbled over his words. "I dunno-"

"Is it because I had an abortion?" She blurred out

He was taken back for a moment. His eye brows pinched as he examined her face

"No" he said softly "do you think-... is that what you think?"

"I mean, I dunno" she said, pushing her hair behind her ear "this never happened before"

"Kiara" he tilted his head a little and placed his hand gently on the side of her cheek "that's not why. I promise"

"Are you sure?" She asked "because Elvis was the same way after his wife gave birth-"

"Elvis?" JJ chuckled a little

"I'm being serious" Kie complained 

"It has nothing to do with that. I promise" he said and smirked started to appear on his face as he pulled her back in "look, we're gonna do this until we do this. Alright?"

She smiled and went back into kiss him. they began making out again. A few minutes later, however, he knew it wasn't going to happen. He pulled back and let out a disappointed sigh.

"It's fine" Kie said, sitting up again awkwardly

"Kie-" he started

"No, it's okay. I gotta go anyways" she said as she stood up.

"Are you mad?" He asked innocently

She smiled

"No, I just have to go to the wreck" she leaned over and kissed him quick on the lips. "I'll be back tonight"

He smiled and was disappointed as she left.

"Yeah she's definitely mad" he mumbled to himself as he slouched into the couch.

They were all at the chateau again. Pope and Cleo had made up, so she was there as well.

They all sat around the fire like old times. JJ was probably on his 5th beer when he got Kies attention and gestured her to follow him.

They went into the chateau together, ignoring the rest of the pogues teasing.

As soon as JJ shut the door, he turned around and started kissing Kie. She kissed him back at first but then pulled away.

"What are you doing?" She asked, with a confused smile

"We're good now" he smirked and went back in. They made out as they stumbled their way into the kitchen and he leaned her on the counter.

"JJ" she giggled as his drunken body picked her up and sat her on the counter.

His hands sliding up her thighs as they continued kissing.

"JJ" she laughed again and pulled away a little

"Hang on" he mumbled as if he was trying to concentrate.

"What?" She asked, sliding her hand into his hair

"It'll work, one sec, I swear" he said as he went back in to kiss her, but she quickly pulled away with a more serious look on her face

"Is this about what happened earlier?" She asked, almost sounding offended

"I'm drunk now, it's has to work" he said but she quickly cut him off

"So you have to be drunk, in order to be turned on by your girlfriend?" She asked

He dropped his head a little, realizing he probably could have worded that better.

"Thats not what I meant" he said

"It's what you said" she argued

"Kie-" he started, struggling to explain properly "I just meant that I don't have to think"

"Think? Think about what?" She asked "jayj just tell me what's going on"

"Nothing is.. 'going on' I just.." he started but was stopped when Kie gently put her hand on his check and lifter his face up to look at her.

She tilted her head and looked at him softly, making him feel comfortable. 

"I am.. so scared" he admitted, slowly "that you're gonna get pregnant again"

A look of confusion slowly grew on her face

"Yeah?" She asked softly as her gaze softened on his face

"I really don't think I can do that again" he said, shaking his head "I really don't think I can"

"It's okay" she said softly and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug. "I understand."

"Things just got back to normal" he started rambling "and I don't even think your dad hates me anymore and we aren't fighting anymore and-"

"JJ" she laughed a little, cutting him off "it's okay. That whole situation was really hard. For both of us. Neither of us want it to happen again. And, You know, Ive been wanting to go on birth control ever since i got pregnant anyways. I'm gonna talk to my mom"

"Wait.. birth control?" He said skeptically "is that a 100% chance that it can't happen again"

"I mean, pretty much" she said "as long as I don't miss a day of taking it, we should be fine"

"Ok" he said, looking at her and smiled.

She smiled back.

"I never wanna see you that scared again" he admitted "or see you hurt like that. I mean, I got you pregnant. I'm the reason you had to go through that"

"JJ. That was both of us. We both made a mistake" she calmed him down "but...there's nothing we can do about it now. we learned from it and now we'll do the right thing. We're doing the right thing"

He thought for a minute, before looking up at her and smiling.

"We'll figure it out?" He suggested

"We'll figure it out"  she smiled

"Now come on" she jumped off the counter and reached out her hand to him "they're gonna start getting suspicious if we're in here too long"

He nodded and followed her out.

The next morning, Kie woke up in her bed. She had left the chateau the night before so that she would be home before curfew.

After taking a shower and getting dressed, she made her way out into the kitchen with her mom.

"Hey" she said casually

"Hey honey" Anna smiled as she sorted through the mail "how'd you sleep"

"Fine" Kie shrugged "do you know where dad is?"

"He left early for the wreck" Anna replied "he's gonna be pretty busy for a while"

"Oh.." kie nodded "so.... can I talk to you about something, mom?"

"Sure honey, what is it?" She asked

"Well... how do I put this" kie thought for a moment "I don't want to get pregnant again"

Her mother shot her a confused look as she sat the mail down, giving her her full attention

"Okay?" She said, leaning on the counter and putting one hand on her hip

"Right..well. I've been thinking.." kie summoned the courage to ask the awkward question "I kinda wanna go on birth control. Just to be safe."

Her mother smiled and tilted her head

"That's a very smart decision" her mother assured "we can do that"

"Really?" Kie asked, supprised at how easy that went over

"Yeah" Anna nodded "I've thought about you going on the pill too but figured I'd wait a little longer before I brought it up"

"Thanks mom" Kie smiled and hugged her. "Do we have to tell dad about this?"

"Mm" her mom thought "no, I don't think he'd understand. He's been a bit grumpy lately"

"Thank god" kie laughed. She did not want to have that talk with him.

"I'll order you some today" her mom said

Kie thanked her again and then went back upstairs.
