While JJ was at work, Kie invited Sarah over. She wasn't feeling very good and didn't want to be alone.

"Kie?" Sarah Said, softly opening her door

"You're here" Kie said cheerfully as a sparkly smile appeared on her face

Sarah instantly went over to her and wrapped her in a deep hug.

"Are you okay?" She asked, still in the hug

"Yea" kie sighed "i guess"

"How was it?" Sarah asked carefully, looking at Kies whole face.

"Uhm.. pretty sucky" Kie laughed a little but Sarah didn't find it funny

"Tell me everything" Sarah said, coming deeper into her room.

Meanwhile at work, JJ filled the rest of the guys in about what happened and they were all very supportive.

JJ thought about what Mike had told him this morning. He kept talking about the wreck and dropping hints that he wanted JJ to start working there.

He also didn't understand why he decided to bring that up the day after the abortion. He wasn't done processing what happened the day before and already he was getting introduced to the next confusing thing life had to offer.

Not only that, but he kept getting phone calls from his dad all day. He would let them ring out or just decline it right away. He had nothing to say to him. He was better off with out his dad in his life.

"I wasn't expecting it to hurt so bad either" Kie explained, sitting on the floor, leaning against her bed.

"They don't give you medicine!?" Sarah asked, horrified

"No they do.. but all the exams and shots hurt like crazy and the meds don't even work that well anyways" Kie ranted "it was terrible"

Sarah soaked in the heavy feeling in the room.

...

"How was JJ during all of this?"  Sarah asked after a moment of silence

"He was.. fine" Kie said, looking down. "He keeps telling me that I made the right choice and that he wanted me to do it too, but... I don't know" Kies voice saddened

"You don't think you made the right choice?" Sarah asked

"I don't know. I could tell it's not what he wanted. Like he's fine with it now, but I know he wanted to keep it originally." Kie admitted "I dunno. It just would have been so much easier if it wasn't him"

"What do you mean?" Sarah asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Not like that, just... if this was just some random guys baby and I had just gotten pregnant from a random hookup.. honestly, I don't think I would have even cared." Kie explained. She took a moment to think "it's just.. hard when it's with someone that you know you want to have babies with some day, you know."

Sarah listened

"We know it's something that we want someday.. it just wasn't the best time to bring a kid into the world." Kie continued "i mean what if something happens to us in the future and that was our only chance of ever having a kid.  I just wonder if we could have made it work somehow"

Sarah sympathized with her. Tears almost forming in her eyes.

"Oh kie" Sarah Said, quickly giving her another hug "you and JJ are perfect for each other. You'll have a kids one day. He's not going anywhere. Besides, if you need a kid to make a relationship last.. then it's not a healthy relationship. Just wait. There's no need to rush anything. If it's meant to be, it'll be."

Kie soaked up her words and sunk into her arms

"This is why your my best friend Sarah" Kie said, her voice cracking a little

Sarah laughed and they both laughed at the fact that they were crying.

They hung out for the rest of the day and tried to lighten the mood after their little therapy session.

6:00 o'clock rolled around and JJ was headed back to Kiara's house. He wasn't too sure what to expect. He had thought about it all day. If he would actually work there. It all depend on the conversation today.

When he go into the house though, Mike was already on the phone as he paced up and down the living room and kitchen.

JJ creeped in the house, trying to be quite and not interrupt. When he got to the kitchen, Mike turned and looked at him, not saying anything as he listened to what the man on the phone was saying.

JJ nodded his head to greet him.

"Hey- josh.... Yea...... Mhm hey give me one second" mike said to the man on the phone as he rushed up to JJ

"Hey, listen sorry, I gotta be at the wreck right now, we'll talk later, okay" mike rushed his sentence. He patted JJ on the shoulder and then left the house, continuing his conversation on the phone.

JJ looked around the seemingly empty house.

"Mrs Carrara?" He called out as he walked around. No one responded.

He then heard two girls laughing upstairs and went up to see who else was there.

"Kie?" JJ asked as he opened up her door

"JJ you're herrree" Kiara smiled and got up from her bed to hug him

"I'm herrree" he said, copying her voice and hugging her back.

"How'd it go with my dad?" Kie asked, pulling away

"Uhh- well it didn't" jj explained "he had to go to The Wreck"

"He left us here alone?" Kie raised an eyebrow

"Your moms not here?" JJ asked, shocked

Kie shook her head no

"Damn" JJ smirked "silly guy" he said as he put his finger on her chin and lifted her face toward him. She smiled and let him give her a soft sweet kiss on the lips.

Sarah cleared her throat and looked at the two awkwardly from the floor

"Still here guys" she said and they both started laughing.

"Sorry" JJ chuckled.

They all sat on the floor and talked for a while. They mainly just goofed around and it was good for the couple to have some fun after what they had been through the day before.

"Kie can i just spend the night" Sarah asked when she looked at the time. It was a little past 8:00 now.

"Yessss of course" Kie said obviously

"No fairrrrr" JJ said like a 5 year old

Kie laughed

"Just ask my dad if you can stay" Kie joked

"Yea right" JJ laughed

20 minutes or so later, Mike got back home and walked upstairs after hearing laughing. He listened in by the door and heard the 3 joking around.

He slowly peered in the door and Sarah was the first to see him. She laughed and looked at JJ like they'd been caught.

"JJ" Mike said with a smug smile as he crossed his arms.

JJ looked up at him with a guilty laugh

"Oh.. hey" he laughed

"You know you're not supposed to be up here" Mike said, leaning on the door frame

"But Sarah's up here" JJ tried to defend himself even though he knew it wouldn't work.

"Oh, also Sarah's staying the night" Kie added with a persuasive smile

Mike just laughed, lightly shaking his head.

To their surprise, he just chuckled and walked out of the room.

They all looked at each other confused.

"So can i stay?" JJ asked the group who all shrugged. He then stood up and went to the door and leaned halfway out "Can I stay?" He asked out to her dad who was walking down the stairs.

"Keep the door open" Mike replied, not looking up at him and continuing to walk down the stairs.

JJ silently celebrated and went back in the room.

"What'd he say?" Kie asked eagerly

"Keep the door open" JJ smiled, quoting her dad.

They all celebrated and continued to hang out on the floor until it got later.

Around midnight, they all got tired and moved up to the bed. Kie sat in the middle while JJ and Sarah were on either side of her.

Sarah and Kie we're doing normal girlie things. Showing each other funny videos or cute things that they like. Gossiping about people from the obx and the kook academy.

JJ occasionally leaned his head on her shoulder and subtlety tried to get his physical touch in any way without being obvious.

"JJ scoot down, I'm falling off the bed" Sarah laughed, bickering like siblings "look how much room you have"

"I'm right on the wall, what are you talking about?!" He joked

JJ rolled over dramatically and everyone moved down a little. This drastic movement let him casually get more comfortable with Kie.

Kie and Sarah were on their phones while JJ was just laying down on her pillow, with his arm behind his head as he listened to them talk.  JJ put his hand up and gently played with one of the hands Kiara was holding her phone with.

She knew him and knew what he wanted. She let go of her phone and casually stayed playing with his hand too and eventually locking her fingers with his.

They dropped their hands on the bed and JJ sighed. He was tired and he closed his eyes, still listening to the sounds of their voices.

Eventually he scooted down and rolled on his side. He laid his head on her arm gently. Sarah's eyes occasionally watching him and smiling.

"You ok" Kie asked quietly, turning her head down to look at him. He opened his eyes, looked up at her, and smiled. He nodded and pulled himself up with his arms.

He laid on his stomach and lifted his head up, his arms on the bed as he tiredly rubbed his face.

He was tired enough to not care anymore and he sighed as he put his arms across kie and pulled himself on top of her, resting his head on her chest and snuggling his arms into the side of her.

"There it goes" Sarah teased as she watched JJs shy face.

They all laughed and Kie adjusted to make them both comfortable.

He closed his eyes and wore a smile as he snuggled his face into her soft, warm skin.

"JJ, I didn't know you could be so soft" Sarah teased again.

Kie gave her a glance and laughed

"Leave him alone" she giggled and pretended to baby him.

"Yeah, leave him alone" JJ joked as he copied her. His eyes still closed

Sarah laughed and went back to her phone. She thought it was adorable though.

JJ was ready to fall asleep on her, but every time she laughed at something sarah said, it woke him back up. He couldn't help but laugh with her as his head moved with her body.

"Stopp" he laughed as his head bobbed up and down with her chest.

"I can't" she laughed, trying to stop. Sarah laughed along with them.

The sound of her giggling and laughing made him so happy. It instantly made him feel 10x better. About everything.

She finally controlled her laughter and stayed still, but the thought of laughing again... made her laugh again.

She let out a giggle and a smile instantly appeared on his face. She busted out in her contagious laughter and JJ sat up and looked at her, only making it worse.

"I'm trying to sleep" he joked and started tickling her stomach, making her kick and laugh even more "and you, are being very disruptive" he continued

"JAY- AHA- I- I CANT- I CANT BREATHE" she manages to get out through her laughter.

He stopped and looked at her as she tried to catch her breath.

"That's what I thought" he joked and happily laid his head back down

An hour later and JJ eventually fell asleep. Sarah had rolled over and was watching tik tok on her phone and Kie was playing with his hair as she tried to drift to sleep.

She wished it could be like this all the time. Her dad being chill and letting him stay in her room. She just wanted to hold him. She watched as he slept peacefully in her arms.

Once they had all fallen asleep, Mike had gone upstairs to check on them. He smiled as he saw the three teenagers passed out on the bed. He especially found it funny seeing the tough kid lay carefully in his daughters arms. Seeing him let his guard down and being vulnerable made Mike smile. He only saw that In him when he was with Kiara. This made him know that he was making the right decision, and planned to talk to him in the morning.
