JJ got back to the chateau and got ready for bed. The whole time he was tempted to go to the fridge and grab a drink. He hated the feeling of everyone hating him. Even the person he could always go to when he was sad, didn't want him around anymore.

He laid in his bed for a while, thinking about what he had done wrong. He didn't understand why everyone hated him right now. Especially Kie.

He didn't know if he was even going tomorrow. He planned on showing up to her house anyways, but wasn't sure if she would let him go.

JJ just stared at the text for a minute. He was relieved, but still confused. Him and Kie just hadn't been on the same page at all for the past couple of days.

The next morning while John b and Sarah where getting ready for school, he got ready to go to kies house.

He was upset the whole time getting ready. He didn't want this to happen still, but he knew he had to go.

He left without saying goodbye and got on his bike, heading to Kies house.

He got to her house and saw Kiara walking to the car. She noticed and waited for him to get off his bike.

"Hey" he said coming up to her after cutting off his bike motor

"Hey" she smiled sadly

"You okay?" He asked as she tried to give him a hug.

"Yea, just.. Scared I guess" Kie said.

JJ weakly hugged her back.

"JJ.. I'm sorry I keep pushing you away" she said, hugging him tightly around his torso. "I don't know why I keep getting so mad at you"

"It's alright" was all he could manage to get out.

"No it's not" she started to cry "you don't deserve-"

He put his two hands on either side of her face and tilted her head up to look at him.

"You're pregnant, Kie" JJ softly smiled "you're gonna be emotional. It's fine."

"I know but still" she said and he wiped away her tear

"Oh lord, what'd you do this time JJ" Mike said, stepping outside

JJ looked forward first, trying to hide his annoyance. He lets go of Kie and then turned around to face Mike and smiled

"Nothing. Dad." Kie rolled her eyes, stepping in before he could talk.

"Mhm" Mike said heading to the car. "You got everything you need?"

"Yea" kie replied coldly as she walked to the other side of the car.

"You better behave yourself" Mike said quietly to JJ before getting in the car.

JJ made a mixed face of annoyance and confusion. Why was he so mad.

He hesitantly got into the car, sitting next to Kie who was on the other side already.

Anna came from the house and joined them in the car as well and then they headed off.

It was a quiet, painful ride. No one really spoke unless it was for directions. They didn't cuddle like the had done in the past on road trips. They sat on opposite sides away from each other. Both looking out their windows.

They drove for almost 2 hours after the ferry. The whole time JJ couldn't stop thinking about what they were doing. He tried not to, but his mind kept drifting into a world where they had kept the kid. Imagining what it would look like. How good of a mom Kie would be. How the rest of the pogues would love that baby so much.

Giving it a personality only made it harder for him to except what was about to happen. He was tense and felt like throwing up. He hated it. The closer they got to the clinic, the more anxious he became.

Kie on the other hand just wanted to get it over with. She regretted everything. She hated how different thing were. With JJ and her parents both.

She was scared for the procedure most of all. She was scared it was going to hurt. Not only that, she was embarrassed. This whole thing was so embarrassing to her. Having to tell her parents that she got knocked up at 16 was a nightmare.

That, and JJ not being on the same page. She didn't expect him to react the way he did. She didn't understand it. She didn't understand why he cared so much. She knew they both weren't ready for a baby. She knew JJ knew he wasn't ready, so she just didn't understand why he wanted to keep it.

It would be so much easier if he was on her side. If he wanted this too. She wouldn't feel guilty anymore. Or feel like she was jeopardizing her relationship with him by getting the abortion.

Everything was just. so. Complicated.

They arrived at the clinic and the silence in the car could kill.

Mike took a deep breath as he turned the car off.

"Appointments in 5 minutes" Mike said, dully. He had no enthusiasm in his voice. "better get going"

"Right" Kie mumbled as they all unbuckled their seat belts and got their things ready to get out.

JJ looked over at her with a helpless face. His head against the seat while His eyes were pleading her to change her mind last minute. He looked as if he was about to say something, but Mike and Anna opening their doors to get out made him hold his tongue

There was something about the way that he looked at her, that just made her feel so guilty. Like she was making the wrong decision. Like he would hate her if she went through with it.

She wanted to cry so bad.

She was paranoid while walking in. A small group of protesters stood outside the building and were chanting terrible things at her. The dirty looks and harsh sayings on their signs made her start to tear up.

Mike put both of his hands on her shoulders and guided her into the building while giving the protesters dirty looks.  She hid her face and tried to block out what they were saying.

"Don't pay attention to them baby it's okay" Anna said,

"KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!!" An angry man in the crowed shouted

JJ was already unstable as is, and this set him off very quickly.

"Who the fuck are you talking to?!" JJ yelled, charging at the man and shoving him

Everyone gasped and Kie was in tears

"JJ!" Mike scolded, grabbing the back of his shirt and pulling him back.

"Oh my god JJ- please" Kie whimpered with her hands covering her mouth as she cried. Her mother comforting her by the door

"Walk. JJ." Mike said in his ear, having a firm grip on his shoulder.

JJ walked foward, clinching his jaw.

"YEA!" The man yelled, adjusting his clothes "THATS RIGHT, WALK! WALK OF SHAME YOU PEICE OF SHIT!"

JJ quickly turned around and tried to break free of mikes hold, but he was quick to turn him back around.

"JJ." Mike warned. Pausing for a minute.

Through angry breathing JJ managed to come to his senses and turn around, flicking all the protesters off behind his back as they went inside.

"What the name?" The receptionist at the front desk asked.

"Carrera" Mike replied.

"JJ" Kie whispered trying to get his attention while her parents checked her in. He was leaning against the glass window, looking at the protesters he now had beef with.

She got his attention and he briefly looked at her.

"Who do these people think they are" JJ complained, looking back out the window.

She left her parents and walked over to him

"You okay?" She asked

"I mean, That's so fucked up" JJ said, still looking out the glass, ignoring her question.

"Jayj-" Kie started

"Right this way mrs Carrara" the receptionist said, grabbing a chart and leading her parents down the hall.

JJ finally looked away and just stared past Kie. Not making eye contact.

"That was fast" he said anxiously.

Kie didn't say anything. Her eyes just bounced from eye to eye. Her face looked heartbroken.

He then summoned the courage to look down at her. His eyes were tense and tired and scared. Hers where red from crying.

"Kiara" her mother reminded her to follow.

Kie looked at her mom then back at JJ. She took a deep breath and then started to follow her mother.

"Kie" JJ said, gently grabbing her arm "you sure?"

He was trying to read her face, and to him it looked like she was thinking about changing her mind.

Really, she was just scared that JJ would hate her after she went through with it. She was trying to think about the pros and cons. Weighing out every scenario. Would she rather be happy with JJ but have a baby, or potentially loose JJ for ever.

A part of her was willing to sacrifice her feelings, just to make JJ happy.

"Jayj I-" she stuttered, terrified of saying the wrong thing. "I-"

"Kiara, let's go" her mother reminded her again.

She gave him one last look before going and catching up with her parents.

JJ soon following behind them. He had got his own hopes up.
