The Lotus Pier

Sounds of someone screaming could be heard from within the mansion of the Lotus pier. A man in his early 30's could be seen pacing worriedly outside the room where the screams were coming from. A five years old boy and a nine years old girl were also present there worried about their mother.

"A-Die...will A-Niang be alright...?" Asked the boy to his Father scared by hearing the painful screams. The man kneels infront of his son and pats his head saying softly "A-Cheng...don't be scared, remember your A-Niang is strong she'll be fine once this is over."

The boy couldn't help but still feel worried, seeing this the girl beside him says smiling "A-Cheng remember after this we're going to have another sibling with us to play and we can take of him or her always right" hearing this the boy smiles as well and replies excitedly "Yes A-jie!"

As they stopped talking the screams got replaced with the wails of a newborn and hearing this the three smiled happily. "Yay! I am a big brother now! Yay!" Exclaimed the boy named Jiang Cheng jumping holding the girls hands whose name is Jiang Yanli who is also very happy. Their father named Jiang Fengmian smiled seeing his children happy and that he now became a father again.

After a few minutes the door of the room opened and the healer came out of the room with smile and speaks " Jiang Jiaozhu Congratulations the Jiang sect now have a second heir. Yu furen gave birth to a Lovely and healthy boy." Hearing this the three of them get super happy and Jiang Fengmian rewards the healer for giving the good news.

"One more thing Jiaozhu" spoke the healer as Fengmian asks what is it and the healer replies "it seems that Jiang Er Gongzi is born with a golden core" Fengmian is shocked hearing this so as Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli. "Is that really possible? If it is then how?" Asked Fengmian to the healer who shooks his head saying "I don't know Jiaozhu this is my first time seeing something like this happening as well."

Fengmian sighs and dismisses the healer and goes into the room with his children tagging along behind him and as they enter they saw Yu Ziyuan laying on the bed sidewards with her hand placed on the little bundle beside her as she is gazing her newborn with a gentle smile and look.

Looking this Fengmian smiles and calls out "A-Yuan...." as he did he got a shushed by her "He just fell asleep....lower your voice A-Feng....." Yu Ziyuan says this as she sits up slowly " Careful My lady." Fengmian says as he goes towards her helping her sit properly.

Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli also follow their father towards their mother and as they did they moved close to their didi. "Waah he is so small and chubby" said Jiang Cheng with low voice as he looked at his didi with Awe. Jiang Yanli chuckles and says "When you were born you were like this too A-Cheng" "But I am all grown up now" Said Jiang Cheng folding his hand to his chest with a proud look on his face.

Fengmian and Ziyuan smile at this Fengmian says "Now now you two don't be like that we don't want your didi get disturbed now do we" as he said this he gently picks up the little baby into his hand and notices the spiritual energy flowing through the baby's small body. "Looks like the healer was right, Our little boy has a golden core already formed inside him" as Fengmian said this the baby in his hands stirs up from his sleep and slowly opens his dark purple eyes just like his mother's.

"Looks like his nap time is over" said Ziyuan. "Looks like it" Fengmian said and turned to face his little son "Hey there little boy you know who I am? I'm your A-Die and-" shows the boy to his older kids "this is your Da-ge" said pointing at Jiang Cheng and then points at Jiang Yanli saying " and this is your A-jie."

As Fengmian introduces everyone the little boy looks at everyone one them with his big baby curious eyes and as he saw Jiang Yanli he started smiling and giggling reaching his small baby hands towards her. Seeing this Ziyuan says "Looks like your son already chooses his favourite sibling A-Feng"

Jiang Cheng pouts at this and Jiang Yanli chuskles at his behaviour and moves towards her younger didi and sits beside her Father and Mother before her father carefully places her didi in her hands "Do you like your A-jie my didi" asked Yanli as the baby chuckles happily at this "Oh you do I see" Said Yanli as she chuckles as well.

Jiang Cheng got even more jealous and moved himself so that his didi is able to look him and says "You like your Gege to right?" The little boy gives the same reaction to Jiang Cheng's Question as Jiang Cheng smiles happily at this. Seeing their children happy Fengmian and Ziyuan are happy as well.

"A-Niang..." Calls out Yanli as Ziyuan hums telling her to continue " What are we gonna name him?" Asked Yanli. "Well...." Ziyuan starts as Fengmian continues "We already decided a name for him" Jiang Cheng gets excited and asks "Really!? What is it!?"

Fengmian chuckles at his eldest son's behaviour and says "We decided to name him Jiang Ying courtesy Wuxian" hearing it the baby now named Jiang Ying starts giggling "He likes his name I see" Said Ziyuan. The Family continues to spend their time with the new member of their family happily.

After a month

The whole Lotus pier is happy and full of joy as it is their Jiang Er Gongzi's one month celebration. Variety of foods and accessories were all over the market of the Lotus pier, it's almost like a festival is going on.

In the mansion several sect leaders and their heirs were present as Fengmian invited them to celebrate the occasion and introduce the second heir of the Jiang sect. Ziyuan was busy with the preparations of the banquet and attending the guests so she reluctantly had to leave her youngest child Jiang Ying in the care of her eldest child Jiang Yanli along with her sibling Jiang Cheng.

"Is our A-Xian excited to meet new people" Yanli asks and yearns a giggle from Jiang Ying. "I think that's a Yes A-jie" Spoke Jiang Cheng sitting beside Jiang Ying while he let's his hand go near Jiang Ying's hand and ends up getting his pinky finger caught by the little one.

Seeing this happen Jiang Cheng gets ser happy and says "let me make a promise to you now, I Jiang Wanyin will always protect you from any harm to the very end I'll always protect you from anyone who tries to bad mouth you this is the promise I give to you" after he is done making his promise he looks at his both siblings observing their expressions.

Jiang Yanli was shocked and suprised hearing her older didi's words but smiles after recovering from the shock. And as for the little Jiang Ying although he didn't understood what his Da-ge said he starts making happy sounds as he was just happy about whatever his Ge told him. Like this the three would make some fun while waiting for their mother to come and take them to the main hall.

Yu Ziyuan comes to the room where her children were staying after she completed attending the guests and the preparations so that she could take them to the main hall to start the banquet. As she enters the she smiles seeing her youngest child asleep in the hands of her oldest child.

"A-Li...." Ziyuan calls out gently. Yanli looks up and smiles at her mother and says " A-Niang you are here......sorry but the main reason of the banquet is currently in a deep sleep" "He got tired of waiting so he fell asleep" adds Jiang Cheng.

"It's fine he'll wake up soon enough but for now come let's go to the main hall and introduce him and A-Li you can handle him right" asked Ziyuan as Yanli nods "Good come now let's get going" as she said that the three of them along with a sleeping Jiang Ying in the hands of Yanli went to the banquet hall.

The main hall could be seen filled with people from different sects and Fengmian could be seen talking with Jin Guangshan and Lan Qiren and with a kid around 15 or 16 years old who was none other than the Nie Mingjue the first heir of the Nie sect of Qinghe who attended the banquet in place of his father along with his didi Nie Huaisang who is 7 years old.

"By the way Fengmian where is the main kid of the party" Jin Guangshan asked Fengmian. "My wife went to bring him over here he should here anytime now" as he said that a young maiden announces the arrival of the Er-Gongzi and Yu furen along with the Gongzi and Goniang.

Fengmian walks towards his family who were entering and saw that Jiang Ying is in Yanli's hands sleeping peacefully. Seeing this a small smile appears on his face as he stood beside his wife who were now at the throne of the hall with Yanli and Jiang Cheng standing infront of them facing the guests of the Day.

Fengmian starts by saying "Greetings everyone today I invited you all for the one-month celebration of my youngest child and hereby I introduce to you all that this is my youngest child Jiang Ying courtesy Wuxian the Jiang-Er-Gongzi and the second heir of the Jiang sect!" as he said showing Jiang Ying in Yanli's hands, Everyone cheers about the news and toasts to the second heir of the Jiang sect.

After the introduction the banquet officially started Yanli and the heirs of the every sect present there went into the garden of the Mansion as it was too noisy in the main hall and Yanli sits at the table placed on the garden with Jiang Ying in her hands and everyone surrounds her and the first one to speak was Nie Huaisang. "Jiang Guniang when will Jiang-Er-Gongzi will wake up?" Asked Huaisang.

"I think he'll be up soon enough" answered Yanli. "But A-jie he's been sleeping for almost an hour now" said Jiang Cheng getting bored seeing his didi's sleeping face. "Jiang Gongzi your didi is only one month old so I think he'll need more sleep than us" said Lan Huan courtesy Xichen the first heir of the Gusu Lan sect who is 9 years old. "You think so?" Asked Jiang Cheng as he receives a nod from Xichen.

The heir of the Jin sect Jin Zixuan who is also 9 years old scoffs at this and says "Anyone who doesn't know that is pretty dumb to be honest" "Hey! Who are you calling Dumb now!?" Shouted Jiang Cheng at Jin Zixuan.

"A-Cheng calm down" Yanli say trying to calm her didi down as she saw her younger didi stir abit "Who else is dumber than you here ofc I would call you that" answered Zixuan arrogantly.

"Jin Gongzi it is not very appropriate of you to say such things to a 5 year old child who wasn't aware about these stuff" Xichen said sternly.

Zixuan clicks his tongue and says "Whatever who cares!"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!!?" as Jiang Cheng shouted loud wails could be heard from Jiang Ying who got disturbed in his sleep and as he starts wailing everyone starts panicking.

"A-Xian don't cry don't cry A-jie is here don't cry A-Xian" Yanli says as she cradles him a bit but Jiang Ying is not showing a sign to stop his crying.

"Oh no I'm sorry A-Xian please stop crying!" Said Jiang Cheng having a mini heart attack but for no use as Jiang Ying doesn't stop crying and continues crying even after Huaisang showing him some of his fans and Xichen trying to make funny faces with Zixuan joining him.

And as they continue trying to make Jiang Ying stop crying they heard a song being hummed along with the sound of a rattle drum coming near them and as the humming started Jiang Ying slowly stopped his wails and turns his head to the one who is responsible for the humming and saw a boy who looked around 6 years old who came and stood before him humming and spinning the rattle drum near him.

It is non-other than the Second heir of the Gusu Lan sect Lan Zhan courtesy Wangji. As Jiang Ying saw this and he started smiling while trying to reach his hands for the rattle drum and seeing that he wants the drum Lan Zhan hands over the drum to the young child who starts playing with it instead of spinning as it was too heavy for his baby hands.

Everyone sighs in relief as Yanli starts saying "I thank Lan-Er-Gongzi for his help."

"Yeah Thank you so much Lan-Er-Gongzi." said Jiang Cheng as well. Lan Zhan just shooks his head saying it's fine. Jiang Ying also smiles at Lan Zhan very brightly and adorably making happy sounds.

"Looks like our Jiang-Er-Gongzi here took a liking to you Wangji" Said Xichen smiling at him Didi who have his ears turned red as he responds with a Mn to his Xiong Zhang. Xichen smiles amusingly at his didi's behaviour.

As this was going on Yanli heard some footsteps coming towards them. "Someone's coming" said Zixuan also hearing the footsteps. As the sound comes closer they heard a familiar voice calling A-Li.

"A-Niang?" Responded Yanli back to her mother. "A-Li Is A-Ying alright? We thought we heard him crying" said Ziyuan sighing in relief seeing her youngest child playing with the rattle drum as she came towards the kids along with her husband, Jin Guangshan, Lan Qiren and Nie Mingjue.

"He did just a moment ago but Lan-Er-Gongzi managed to calm him down" said Yanli looking at Lan Zhan with a smile. Fengmian smiles as he says "Then I'll have to thank Lan-Er-Gongzi for this"

"No need. Just did what I can do. That's it. No need to thank me Jiang Jiaozhu" said Lan Zhan. Lan Qiren feels very proud seeing his nephew so well mannered.

Zixuan turns his head away seeing all of this but he felt his clothes being tugged by someone so he looked to see who it is but it turned out to be little Jiang Ying in the hands of Yanli who moved closer to Zixuan seeing her didi making grabbing hands in his direction.

Jiang Ying smiles adorably at Zixuan while making some happy sound like he is really happy to hold the Jin heir. Zixuan's heart melts seeing this as a small blush appears on his face. (A/N: NOT A SHIP)

"Looks like our A-Ying approves A-Xuan as his future brother-in-law" said Ziyuan with a smile as Jiang Ying giggles while still holding Zixuan's clothing as if he agrees.

"Good job getting approval from the Jiang-Er-Gongzi Zixuan." Said Jin Guangshan covering his smug smile on his face with his hand fan.

"I-I..." Unable to form any words Zixuan turned head away again but with a pout this time around as Yanli who is still holding Jiang Ying blushes at what the elders are saying.

Jiang Cheng sticks his tongue out at this as he doesn't approve of it while Xichen as always smiling along with Huaisang who has his face covered with his hand fan just like Jin Guangshan with Nie Mingjue facepalming. And let's just say that Lan Zhan is just being Lan Zhan.

The Banquet finally came to an end as all the guests were now leaving the Lotus Pier to go to their own sects. Ziyuan along with Fengmian and Jiang Ying in her hands is sending off the guests while Jiang Ying is waving his hands at every single one of them capturing their hearts at how cute he looks doing that.

Though Jiang Ying did made a fuzz about Zixuan and Lan Zhan leaving Lotus Pier but at the end of the day he had no choice but to let go as he fell asleep due to exhaustion.

The whole Jiang Family could be seen offering theirs prayers to their ancestors in the Ancestral Hall of the Jiang Sect with a sleeping Jiang Ying. Fengmian prays in his heart while offering as incense "Ancestors we have a new heir to our sect. We wish you to protect and look over him all the time just like you did to all the heirs."

Ziyuan prays that "Let my child live as long as he can growing happily and freely with a free spirit having a joyful life. And keep him safe from any harm that comes in his way. Don't let any sorrow or burden fall upon my child."

Yanli prays that "Let my both didi live happily and be safe all the time. Please watch over us so that we can be together forever never being seperated from each other."

Jiang Cheng prays that " Let me become a great swordsman and a great Sect leader so that I can protect my family and the people I love." Jiang Ying just sleeps in his mother's hands peacefully as his family are praying to his and their ancestors to protect him from all means of harm.

The family goes to their respective rooms happily after offering their prayers and fall into a deep slumber with smiles on their faces. Jiang Ying also smiles in his sleep being in the safe feeling embrace of his mother and father.

Forgot to mention something -v-
Jiang Ying's appearance is the same as Wei Ying's the only differences are his eyes which are dark purple like Ziyuan's and his hair which is pitch black like Fengmian's.
He wears the same clothes as Jiang Cheng and he reaches upto Jiang Cheng's Chest when it comes to height until further notice. And though I have mentioned it above I'm saying again, Please don't mistake Zixuan's and Jiang Ying's relation as a romantic one. They are just gonna have a brotherly relation and that's it.
