President Kennedy sat at the breakfast table, impatiently tapping his fingers on the table as he waited for his wife Jackie to finish getting ready for their trip to Dallas. It was an important visit and he didn't want to be late.
As he stirred his coffee, he heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see Jackie walking into the room. She wore her famous pink suit, which he knew would make her stand out in a crowd, but he had always admired her sense of style.
"Good morning, Jackie," he said, greeting her with a smile.
"Good morning, dear," Jackie replied, her voice still groggy from sleep.
As she sat down at the table, President Kennedy noticed that her hair was a mess, with strands falling out of her bun and sticking out at odd angles. He chuckled to himself, knowing that their daughter Y/N must have grabbed her hair while she was getting dressed.
"Looks like Y/N had a go at your hair this morning," he said, pointing to the strands sticking out at odd angles.
Jackie laughed, "Yes, it seems like she wanted to help me get ready."
The President took a sip of his coffee and watched as Jackie fiddled with the clasp of her pearl necklace. He admired the way she moved, how elegant and poised she always was, even with her hair in a mess.
"Are you ready for the trip?" He asked.
"I'm just about ready," Jackie said, finishing her coffee.
The President stood up and walked over to her, giving her a kiss on the forehead. "Let's go," he said, offering her his hand.
Together, they walked out of the room and headed towards the waiting car, ready to embark on their journey to Dallas. As they walked, President Kennedy couldn't help but think how lucky he was to have Jackie by his side, messy hair and all.
