Pregnant with Patrick

August 1st, 1963

August 1st, 1963 was a warm summer day, and the Kennedy residence was filled with anticipation. Jackie Kennedy, pregnant with her and her husband President Kennedy's third child, Patrick, lay out in the sun, basking in its comforting warmth. As she rubbed her belly, she couldn't help but talk to her unborn baby.

"You love kicking my ribs, don't you?" Jackie mumbled with a hint of playfulness in her voice. President Kennedy, watching his wife from a nearby chair, chuckled at her comment, amused by the sight of their son's energetic movements inside her belly.

"I can't wait to meet him soon," Jackie said, her smile shining through her words as she continued to caress her growing bump. Her love for their unborn child radiated in her voice, filling the air with warmth and joy.

President Kennedy joined in the excitement, his eyes fixed on Jackie's belly. "Me too, and maybe we can have another one after Patrick is born," he suggested with a mischievous grin, thinking about the possibility of expanding their family even further.

Jackie laughed and gently shook her head at her husband's playful idea. "Wait until the six weeks are up, and we will see," she responded, teasing him lovingly. The couple shared a moment of lightheartedness, cherishing the anticipation of welcoming their third child into the world.
