I was reading Luna's diary when my horn flashed and teleported me to an unknown location. When I looked around I was in Ponyville.

Great! Maybe I can learn some names of the ponies here.

I took a deep breath before my horn started to glow and dragged me across the town and lead me to a giant crystal tree castle thingy at the edge of town. "Why in Equestria would a castle be in Ponyville?" I mumbled to myself staring up at the crystallized tree.

3...2...1

I then teleported into the home with the classic blue flames that will scare the living crap out of anypony. "I am Jetbeam, Protecter of Dreams! And I am here to help you!" I said introducing myself to was ever was there.

'Sweet Celestia! Why isn't Twilight here when I need her?!?'

I looked down as the blue flames died down. A small purple baby dragon with green spikes sat there holding his tail in his claws. "What is your name small one?" I asked all regal like. "I-It's Sp-Spike." He stuttered. I laid next to Spike and asked him what was wrong.

'Should I tell her?'

"You can tell me. I'm not here to hurt you...I'm here to protect you..." I said as I wrapped my hoof around him pulling him into a hug. "I um I have a crush on this mare named Rarity..."

So that's the unicorn's name! Rarity!

"and she said that she would never love me, ever! And she said I was to young for her and she was way out of my league." He started to sob and then he buried his head in my hide. I stared at him for a moment, "She crushed your dream. Your dream was to live a happy life with her... That little witch!" I started to get upset at Rarity. Spike looked up at me and wiped his tears, "Don't get upset, maybe she's right. Maybe I am to young and maybe just maybe I never had a chance." My heart broke for this little baby dragon. I felt horrible. "Oh honey don't say that." I said as held him tightly. "But I heard Twilight say it was her time of the month. Whatever that means." Spike whimpered.

Oh wow...

"Oh Spike that just means she gonna be upset for a while okay. She probably didn't mean it ok?" He nodded slowly.

'But what does that even mean?'

"Don't worry about it Spike. You'll learn sooner or later." He nodded again. "Alright well I have to go." I said. "Well Goodb-" he tried to say before I teleported away.
