Joker's Birthday

A/N- Just a short story about what Jessie and Frost did for Joker's birthday. (12/26)

On Christmas Eve, Joker was out getting some last-minute gifts for his princess, leaving Jessie at home with Frost.  "Uncle Frosty? Do you have a minute?" She asked him. "Of course, I do, sweetie. Come sit with me." He cooed as he helped her. "Well I know that Daddy's birthday is in two days and I was wondering if we could throw him a party."  "I think we can. Where do you want to have it at, sweetheart?" He asked her. "At home." "Okay. Now who shall we invite?" "You, Aunt Jenna, cousins Johnny and Koda, and Uncle Panda."  "Alright. Well since daddy's out for the night, how about we go out and do some shopping for daddy's party?" He said as Jessie gave him the biggest smile and ran to get her coat, mittens, scarf, and hat. Frost helped her, then he got his coat on and grabbed the van's keys, and drove off to the party store.

"Okay, sweetie. I want you to stay close to me, for I don't want you to get lost." "Okay, Uncle Frosty." She said as Frost got her out of the van.  Both of them entered the store and began to shop for the party.  "Okay, Jessie. All need now is wrapping paper and paper plates." Frost said as they went to get the last two items. "Uncle Frosty? Can we get some balloons?" "We can, sweetheart. We place them on special order and I'll pick them up before the party." He said as both of them walked over to the balloon counter and ordered the balloons.  Once they got everything,  they headed back home.  "Okay, sweetie. It's time for bed, so Santa can come." He cooed as Jessie got a plate of cookies out and a glass of milk.  She placed them on the table, brushed her teeth, and went to bed. Frost tucked her in and turned on her Christmas light since she decorates her room for Christmas. "Uncle Frosty?" "Yes, Jessie?" "Will you please read T'was the Night Before Christmas to me?" "Of course." He said as he read to her.  Once she was asleep, Frost kissed her goodnight and left to go hide all the party stuff before Joker came home.

As Christmas Eve, became Christmas Day, Jessie got up and went into her daddy's bedroom to wake him up. "Daddy, wake up."  "(Yawns) No it's too early." He said teasingly since it was 9 am.  Jessie giggled as Joker pulled her into his arms.  "Merry Christmas Daddy." "Merry Christmas to you too, princess. I do believe that Santa came last night. Shall we go see?" He cooed as he picked her up and carried her out to the living room.

Joker put Jessie down and watched his pride and joy dig into her presents. Jessie got a lot of new toys, clothes, an iPod, Disney interactive computer games, storybooks, and of course a lot of stuffed animals.  Just then Frost came out and began to make breakfast for everyone.  "Daddy? Can we go outside and play in the snow, later?" "Of course prin-." He said before got cut off by his cell phone going off. "Sorry sweetheart, but Daddy has somethin' he needs to take care of first, but once I'm done I promise we'll play in the snow until bedtime." He said as left to get ready.  "I love you, lil clown. You be a good girl for Uncle Frosty and Daddy will be back soon." He said as he kissed her. "Bye, Daddy. Be safe." Jessie said as she kissed and hugged her daddy. "I will, lil clown." He said as he took his men and left.  "Now we can plan Daddy's party, right Uncle Frosty?" "Right, sweetie. Now, the first thing we need to do is send out the invites and write the names of the people who we are inviting." He said as he and Jessie filled out the invites.

Next, Jessie wanted to make her daddy's birthday cake. Frost measured out the ingredients, while Jessie put them in the mixer.  Once the cake batter was made, Frost gave her some food coloring in purple and green.  He split the batter into two bowls and showed her how the batter changed colors.  He pour the batter into the cake pan and placed it into the oven to bake. Jessie asked her uncle if it would be alright to taste some of the batters. He gave her a taste and she liked it.  While Frost cleaned up, he placed her on his laptop and let her pick out her birthday present for her daddy.  Once she found it, she called Frost so he could see what she was getting Joker.  "I think it's wonderful, Jessie. I know that your daddy will love it." He said as he placed it into the shopping cart and let her pick out a few more birthday gifts.  Next, they made some icing and had a powdered sugar fight.  Once the icing was made and that cake was cooled. Jessie and Frost began to decorate it.  "Okay. The cake is ready and we did the invites." "Now what do we do, Uncle Frosty?"  "Well, we can go see if the balloons are ready to be picked up and see if need any last-minute party items." "Okay." "But first I think you and I need a bath." He said as he chuckled for both of them were covered in powdered sugar and green and purple icing.

After they were cleaned, Jessie got dressed and went to play with Loki, since Bud and Lou were with Joker.  Once Frost was ready to go, he helped Jessie into the car and drove off to get the balloons and any last-minute party items.  Once they were done shopping, they went back and got ready for Joker's big surprise party.

As everyone arrived at the mansion, Frost's cell phone went off. "Everyone quiet." He said as he answered his phone. "Sure thing boss. We'll be here." He said.  Once the birthday king was home, he let Bud and Lou out and came inside. "Happy birthday J!" Joker turned to his beloved daughter, who was smiling at her daddy. "Jessie? Did you do this for me?" "Yep. I and Uncle Frosty planned it while you were out. Are you surprised, Daddy?" She asked, her blue eyes locking his. "I'm very surprised, princess.  You're so good to me, my lil clown." He cooed as the party began.

Once the party ended, it was time for bed.  As Joker tucked Jessie in, she said "waited Daddy. I got you something." "Baby girl. You didn't have to me anything. You the greatest gift that I could ever ask for." He said.  As he opened his gift, he couldn't believe what it was.  Jessie had made him a scrapbook with all of the fun memories they had together from her baby years up to age five. "Do you like it, Daddy?" "Like it? I love it, Jessie. Thank you, for everything." He said as hugged her and kissed her. "Sleep tight, Jessie." "Goodnight Daddy. I love you." "I love you more, lil clown. Sweet dreams." He said as he cracked her door and left to go read his daughter's memory book.
