A/N- This is just a short story about what Joker and Jessie thought about each other when they first met. I hope you enjoy it.

 When they first met- Jessie: (inside of the box) "Why is it so cold? I was warm but now it's cold. I want to be warm and I want my mommy and daddy." (Cries and hears a car approaching and it's door opens) "What was that? I hope my mommy and daddy find me soon." 

Joker: (hears Jessie crying)  "Is that a baby crying?" (Walks up to the box and finds Jessie. "Well, aren't you beautiful? What is a baby like you doing out here in this cold? I better get you someplace warm."

First night at home- Jessie:  "Who is that with green hair and what's that shiny stuff? Also what is that stuff on his body?" (Stomach growls) "What was that sound? Well I didn't eat anything yet. I guess I should tell the "green-haired person" that I'm hungry.

Joker: (While feeding Jessie) "My God. Did no one feed this kid?" "Slow down, sweetheart or you'll get a tummy ache.  (finishes the bottle and has milk all over her body) I think you need a bath."

Bath time-  Jessie: "No, no, no. I don't wanna bath." (Cries)

Joker: "Come on, kid. Get. In. The. Tub!" (Thinking to himself) "There's gotta be a way to get this kid into the bathtub. Hmm. Aha! I got it!" He showed her that the water was safe and placed her in the tub.

Jessie: Oh no. This is the end. Goodbye, curl world. Hey, I'm not dead. I love bath time.

Bedtime- Joker: "Aw. She looks so peaceful. I don't deserve you, Jessie.  I don't deserve anyone."

Jessie: "Why is the "green-haired person" frowning? Is he sad? I don't like to be sad. (Starts crying)  

Joker: "There, there Jessie. Shh... I'm here. Daddy's here. Huh, daddy. I'm a daddy.

 Jessie: Daddy? I love my "green-haired" daddy, but now (yawns) I'm sleepy.

Joker: "Sweet dreams Jessie. Daddy loves you."
