Recap from the last chapter: "Jess, will you marry me?" "Jared, I... will! Yes, I will marry you!"

Jess POV: "I couldn't believe it. I was getting married to the love of my life, Jared Leto. Jared was my rock. He was always there for me, just like my dad was. Ever since we met, it truly was love at first sight."

(Two weeks before the Wedding-) Early one summer morning, Jess had woken up in her queen-sized bed with Loki, who slept near the bottom. She smiled as she watched her buddy sleep. She looked to the other side of the bed to find it empty. Jared was sleeping with her last night, but he was gone! "I guess he left me," She said sadly. Loki woke up and went up to where she was and cuddled with me. "Hey! That's my girl, Loki!" A voice said. I looked up and saw my Jared. "Oh, I'm your girl now, huh," I said jokingly as Loki barked. Jared smirked and jumped into the bed, tickling me. "Ah! Loki! Get Jared!" I said. Loki jumped right on top of Jared, pinning him down, while I broke free of my soon-to-be husband's clutches. "Good boy, Loki," I said petting his head. "Do you want to go get breakfast?" Jared asked. "Hell yes!" I said as he picked me up and carried my bridal style and carried me downstairs to the kitchen. "Well, good morning you two." My mom said. "Morning Mom. Where's Dad?" I asked. "Oh, he's somewhere." She said. All of sudden I left something grab me, I screamed at the top of my lungs. "OMG! Baby, you should have seen your face!!" My dad said while laughing. "Daddy! That was mean!" I said with a pout. "Aw, is my baby girl upset? Daddy can fix that." He said with a smirk. My dad pinned me down and started to tickle me. "Hahahaha! Dad, stop! Please!" I said with laughter. "Not until you're all smiles, my Lil killer." Once I smiled, my dad helped me up and got breakfast.

After we ate, I asked my parents if they were busy tonight. "Well we were gonna go kill the bat, but that can wait because I rather spend time with my baby girl." My dad replied. I just smiled at my dad. "Why do ya ask, Jessie?" "No reason." "Hey, Jess. I got to go, but I'll see you later on tonight." "Okay, Jared. (kisses his cheek) I love you." "I love you 2. Thank you for letting me, J. I owe you one." "You don't owe me nothing. Seeing my daughter happy is payment enough." Jared just nodded his head and left. Later on, I decided to go out to do some shopping, get my hair done, and go visit Ace at the adoption center. I told my parents that I was going out, so they wouldn't worry. (I know my parents are psycho killers, but they had a child, so they worry :p) My first stop was at the adoption center, where Ace was. I walked in and asked the lady in charge if a girl named Ace was there. "Yes, she is. Just one minute, please. " She called for Ace, who was very excited to hear that a visitor had come to see her. "Hi, Ace." Hi? Do I know you?" "It's me, Jester." "OMG! You look so different without your costume." "I know, but don't tell anyone that I'm Jester or I'll be taken away." "I promise. I won't say a word." "Okay. So how about you and me go have a girl's day?" "What's a girl's day?" "A girl's day is where girls go get their hair done, nails, shopping, get food, etc." "Did you say food?" "Yes, I did wh-?" "Come on, Jess. I want to go get food." I chuckled to myself, for Ace reminds me of me when I was young. "Hold on there tiger. I got to see if it's okay for me to take you out first." "Okay," I asked the lady and she said that it would be fine, but I needed to have Ace back before her bedtime, which was 10:00 pm. "Alright, Ace. Are ya ready for our girl's day?" "Yes!!!!!" I chuckle at her, took her hand, and left to go get our hair and nails done. (Top pic. is Jess' hair & nails) (Bottom pic. Ace's hair & nails.)

After we got our hair and nails done, we went to get something to eat. While we ate I asked her a very important question. "Ace." "Yes?" "I'm getting married in a few weeks and I was wondering if you would like to be my flower girl?" "(Gasp) really? You want me to be at your wedding?" "Of course I do. You're my friend and I want you there." "YES!!!! (Gasp) I have to get a dress and pretty shoes." "Well, that's why we're out today. I just got to make a phone call to two people then we can hit the dress store, okay?" "Okay."

Ace continued eating, while I called Jared. "Hey, hubby bear." "Hi, Mrs. Jared Leto. What's up?" "Hey. Is that Jess? Tell me I said "hi." Shannon said. "Hang on a second baby." "Will you shut up? Sorry about that babe." "Let me guess. Shannon wants to say "hi", right?" "OMG, she's psychic!" Tomo said as all three laughed. "So what's up?" "I have a friend who would love to be our flower girl for the wedding. So can she come to the dinner tonight?" "Of course babe. I got no problem with that." "Alright. So I'll see you at 4:30 pm when you come home?" "Yes, dear." "Thank you, J. Also, tell Shannon and Tomo I said "Hi, and stop picking on you." "Wait. I'm going to put you on speaker so you can tell them." "You two, but mainly you, Shannon. Stop picking on my husband!" All of them were laughing. "Okay, baby. I got to get back to work but enjoy your day and I'll see you when I come home." "Love you" " I love you too." After I got done talking with Jared, I called my parents to make sure that they were still free for tonight. After I got done talking with them, Ace and I went to go look at dresses. We went to about five different stores, until Ace and I found our perfect dresses. ( Top left: Jess' dress) (Bottom right: Ace's dress")

I paid for the dresses and called the adoption center to let someone know that Ace will be with me and will be spending the night. We both headed back to my house. "Jared? Babe, you home?" I call out but get no answer. Just then Loki came out and ran towards me pinning me down and giving me kisses. "Loki. Okay, buddy, I missed you too. Loki this is Ace. She'll be with us tonight." Loki sniffed Ace, she was a little bit frightened. "Ace, he won't bite. This is his way of getting to know you." Once Loki was done sniffing, he bowed his head and let her pet him. "Why don't you two play in the living room, while I call my hubby? Ace and Loki ran off into the living room, while I was in the kitchen calling Jared. "Hey, it's Jared. Sorry, I can't answer the phone right now, but leave a message and I'll get to you." "Hey, honey. Only me, I was wondering when you are coming home because we have our wedding rehearsal and dinner tonight. Please call me back ASAP. I love you"

I waited, what seemed like forever, for my soon-to-be husband to call me back when it was only ten minutes. I was about to turn off my phone, but I saw that Jared was calling me. "YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD EXCUSE FOR NOT CALLING BACK, MR. LETO!!!!" I yelled into the phone. "Aw, babe. I love it you're pretend angry." "(Sighing) What time will you be home by?" "Well, I'm pulling into the driveway as we speak. "Are you for real, because I do recall the last time you told me this, you ended up sleeping on the couch." "Babe. I'm dead serious. Look out the window." "Jared, if this a prank, I'm not going to be happy." (Car horn honks) "OMG! You are home!" "I told you." "Well come on we have to get ready because we have a rehearsal to get to. Oh, I have someone you need to meet. Okay, honey. Stay here while I go get our guest." I ran to go get Ace, so she could meet Jared. "Ace. Can you come here for a second? I have someone, who you must meet." I saw her walking in with Loki, who was right by her side. "Ace. This is my soon-to-be husband, Jared. Jared, this is Ace. She's going to be a flower girl." "Hi, Ace. It's nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you too, Mr. Leto." After Jared and Ace were introduced, we all went to get ready and went to our rehearsal and dinner. Once we arrived, I saw my dad's car but no one was inside. "They must be inside," I said. As Jared, Ace, and I walked into the restaurant, I didn't see them. My heart sank, I felt like crying until I felt two arms wrap around me. "Don't cry, little clown. Daddy's here." I turned around to see my dad in his purple tux & my mom in a black and gold dress. I was so happy to see them, then we had our dinner and went to the beach to do our rehearsal.

(1 week until Wedding day)

As I lay in bed, I started to think about the wedding. There was so much to do yet. So it's Monday. Oh how I HATE MONDAYS, but I asked my mom and Ace to see if they'd like to join me to go look at bridal dresses. Of course, both said yes. I got up took a shower and started to sing one of my favorite songs, The Kill by 30 Seconds to Mars. As I was singing, I heard someone's voice. I turned around and saw my soon-to-be husband, Jared, smiling. "My, my, my. You didn't tell me you had a lovely singing voice, Jess." "Well, I did twelve years of choir," I said smirking. After we showered, we both got dressed and went downstairs to get something to eat. "Good morning, Daddy," I said as I saw my dad at the table. "Good morning, baby." "Dad? Is it okay that Mom, Ace, and I go dress shopping?" "Sure, pumpkin. I don't need your mom today, due to I have meetings, but you go on and have a fun time." "Thank you, Daddy." "Anything for you, little clown." After we ate breakfast, my mom, Ace, and I went to get ready to go out wedding dress shopping. Once we arrived at the first dress shop, there was nothing there that made me "say yes to the dress ;)" So by the sixth shop, I found the wedding dress of my dreams. "Well, mom? Ace? What do ya think?" "Pretty." "I agree with Ace. You look beautiful, Puddin' cup." "Do you think Dad will like it?" "I know he would." Next was to find a dress was my mom and Ace. My mom found a dress that was similar to her costume when she was with my dad, and as for Ace, she found a purple dress. After we had our dresses, we went out to get some food. 

Meanwhile, back at Joker's mansion, he had just finished his last meeting and decided to call Jared to gout to get their tuxes for the wedding. "Jared? It's J. Did you get your tux for the wedding yet?" "No, but I was thinking about going out today since Jess is out with Harley and Ace getting their dresses." "Okay. I'll meet you at your house in ten minutes, so be ready." "Alright J." (Ten minutes later) Joker pulled up to the house and called Jared. "I'm outside." "Okay. I'm just giving Loki his lunch and I'll be out." Unlike the girls, Joker and Jared had to go to one shop to get their tuxes. While Jared was trying on his tux, Joker made some calls to get the food, cake, and even a DJ for the wedding. 

(Wedding Day) Jess' POV: It was the moment of truth. It was my wedding day!!!! I had a HUGE bag of nerves. I was so scared because I had never been married before, only when I was little when my dad and I would play wedding. I got up, did my morning routine, and put some "lazy clothes" on because the wedding didn't start until 2:00 pm. Went downstairs to see my dad, mom, Ace, Jared, Bud, Lou, and Loki. "Well, my princess has finally woken up." My dad said jokingly. "Good morning Dad." "Good morning sweetheart. Are ready for today?" I remained silent because I would be away from my dad and my mom. "Jessie? You okay?" "I'm fine, Dad. I'm just gonna go check something."

Joker POV: "I never thought that my Jessie would be getting married. I knew that she was upset because she had never been away from me, Harley, or home before. I understood what she was feeling. As I looked at her I saw a toddler version of her, when she was three years old. (Flashback) "Daddy?" "What is it, Princess?" "Can we play edding (wedding)?" "Of course, we can. but I think you need a wedding dress." Joker said as he held up a child's wedding dress. "Oh Daddy, that etty." "Only the best for my soon-to-be wife," Joker said with a smile. Jessie squealed with joy as she went to ask her uncle Frosty for help. Once Jessie was in her dress, she came down to the living, where the wedding took place. They used ring pops for their rings, Joker's was a grape one, and Jessie's was a blue razzberry. They exchanged their rings and kissed each other on the cheek. "I wuv you, Daddy." "I love you more, little clown." (End of wedding flashback.)

(Still Joker's POV) "After we were married, Jessie would always tell me that she wanted to be a mommy, so I got her a baby doll that did everything a real baby could do. I bought her all the necessities and accessories that the "baby" would need. We would play house together until bedtime. When I saw her with the "baby", I would smile... happily at her as I watched her feed, play, change, etc. with the "baby." I remember when the doll wouldn't stop crying and Jessie got upset and came to me for help. (Flashback) "Daddy?!" "What is it, my love?" "Baby won't stop crying." "Aw. Bring her here." Jessie handed the "baby" over to her "husband" (because they are married) "Aw, baby girl. Shh... Daddy's here. You hungry?" The doll cooed at Joker in response. "Okay, sweetie. Mommy is going to get you, your bottle and feed you." Jessie went through the doll's diaper bag and found a bottle. Joker showed Jessie how to properly hold and feed the doll as if it were a real baby." "Daddy?" "Yes, my sweet little clown?" "How do you get so good at being a daddy?" "Well, I had you." "(Gasp) You mean I was a waby?" "Yes, little clown. You were the cutest baby that I ever saw and you still are." Jessie and the doll began to yawn. "Uh oh. Are my two girls getting sleepy?" "No, not me Daddy. But the baby is." "Oh, well my dear wife. Do you think our little angel should sleep in her crib?" "Yes, wubby (hubby)." "Okay, sweetie. You go put baby to bed, while I go get changed, okay?" "Otay, Daddy," Jessie said as she went to the living room to put the baby in her crib. Once the baby was fast asleep, Jessie got on the couch and fell asleep. Joker came down in his Arkham pants and tank top, to find his "wife" fast asleep. He smiled at the sight of her sleeping with all of the baby's things out on the couch. He didn't mind cleaning up, because his "wife" had just fallen asleep. He saw the doll and turned off the switch, so it wouldn't wake Jessie up. He picked Jessie up, laid on the couch, while he placed her on his chest, covered her and himself, and went to sleep. (End of second flashback and POV)

Joker went by Jessie's door and knocked. "Who is it?" "It's daddy, sweetheart. Can I come in?" "Yes." "He entered her room and sat on the bed with her. "Sweetie, why are you crying?" "I don't think I can do this Dad." "Jessie. Look at me. You are a STRONG, BEAUTIFUL, BRAVE young woman. You CAN DO THIS. Before you know it, you'll be a mom with your own kids. Don't worry about me, your mom, or your brothers. We will ALWAYS be here for you. No one and I mean NO ONE is taking us away from you. I love you, little clown." "I love you more Daddy." "Now we better get ready it's almost noon." With the strong powerful encouragement from Joker, Jessie was feeling 300% better.

It's now 2:00 pm, the moment of truth, the real moment, Jess & Jared's Wedding.

Jess' POV: "My heart raced, but when I saw my dad, all my fear went away. "You look so beautiful, Jessie." My dad said. I ran up and hugged him. "Aw, come on. No sad tears today. I want to see happy tears." He said. As we took our places, the wedding march began, and my dad and I walked down the aisle. "Make her happy, Jared." My dad said to him as he left to take his place by my mom. After we had exchanged our vows and the rings, we both waited to hear these words "You may kiss the bride." As soon as those words were said, Jared and I kissed and everyone cheered, even my dad. After the wedding, we went on our honeymoon, but I was very homesick. "Hey babe. Why so sad?" "I guess I'm just homesick, Jared." "Well, I think I have something that will cheer you up. Close your eyes and come downstairs." I did as my husband told me to do. Once we were downstairs, I felt a chest and two strong arms wrap around me. "Did you miss me, little clown?" I opened my eyes to see my dad and mom. I was so happy to see both of them because I missed them so much. We all hugged each other. "Welcome to the family, Jared." My dad said. "I love you, Jared." "& I love you too, Jess."
