As I went into a deep sleep, someone crawled out from under my bed. "So, you're the one who caused Two-Face so much trouble. Well, there won't be any sweet dreams, only nightmares! hahahahaha!" A voice said. I started to toss and turn in my bed and started to cry. "Daddy!!!!!!" I yelled as loud as I could. Daddy came running to my room, breaking down my door. "Baby girl, wake up,"  Daddy said. I woke up but I was in tears. "Oh, Daddy, it was horrible. Someone tried to hurt me and I couldn't find you." I said as I cried into his chest. "Shh..., baby girl. It's okay, I'm here now and I wouldn't let anyone hurt you." Daddy said as he soothed me. "C-can I sleep with you, tonight? I don't want to be alone." I said with fresh tears filling my eyes. "Yes, sweetheart. Come on." Daddy said as I went into his arms with Simba and Boo-boo in my arms.  Daddy carried me to his bedroom and placed me on his bed, covered me up, and kissed me goodnight. He got into his side of the bed and turned off the light. I felt a strong arm wrap around me, which was my daddy's arm and he pulled me close to him. "I won't let that bad person get you, not while you're in my arms. You are safe in Daddy's arms."Daddy whispered as he pushed back my hair and tuck it behind my ear. I felt safe knowing that my daddy was there for me. 

The next morning, I was woken up by my big brothers. "Alright, alright. I'm up." I said to them. I looked to the other side of the bed, where Daddy was, but he wasn't there. "Oh no. Daddy left me." I thought and started to cry. Just then my uncle Frosty walked by and saw me in tears. "Hey, kiddo. What's with the waterworks?" He asked me. "Dd-addy lllll-effft mmmeeee," I said in between my sobs. "Daddy didn't leave you, silly girl. You know he would tell you if he had to go somewhere. Look, there's a letter here for you." My uncle said as he handed me the letter. (This is what the letter said: Good morning my sweet princess. Come downstairs, I have a surprise for you XOXOXO Daddy) I took my uncle's hand and went downstairs and there was my Daddy, all dressed up.

"Daddy!!! I thought you left me." I said with happy tears. "Jessie. You know that I would never leave you, right?"  Daddy said with a smile. "Yes, Daddy. But when I woke up, you weren't there. I thought that the bad person got you." I said sadly. "Baby, your daddy is the best fighter in the world. I wouldn't let NO ONE lay a hand on you." He said as he wiped away my tears. "Why are you all dressed up for Daddy?" I asked him. "Now if I told you it would ruin the surprise." He said. "OMG! I better get ready." I said as jumped out of his arms and ran upstairs along with my big brothers. All my daddy did was laugh, seeing how I almost forgot about my surprise. I got into a pair of light-blue jeans, black low-heel boots, a nice dress shirt, and my gold chain, that my daddy got me when I was a baby. 

Once I was dressed, I noticed that a can roll out from under my bed. "Lou! Bud!" I yelled as my brothers jumped in front of me growling. My daddy also heard me, grabbing his gun, he went upstairs into my room. "Jessie, what's wrong?" He asked me. "This can came from under my bed. I was scared because I think the bad person is here." I said as tears filled my eyes. "Well if the bad person is here, Daddy's going to make sure that he/she won't LAY A FINGER on you. Do you know why?" He asked me. "Because my Daddy will hurt them really, really bad," I replied. "That's right, Baby Girl. He said with a smile. "I'll stay with you in case the bad person tries to show up. So you finish getting ready with your brothers. Okay, Princess." My daddy said to me. "Okay, Daddy. Come on, Bud. Lou." I said as my big brothers walked aside of me. Then my daddy checked all over my room and examined the can that I found.

Joker POV: I was beyond pissed when someone was trying to scare my Jessie. As I looked at the can, it turned out to be a gas can, filled with a fear toxin. I knew EXACTLY who it was trying to scare my daughter. Scarecrow!!!! He's going to regret giving my baby girl a nightmare when his nightmare is only begun. HAHAHAHAHA!

As I finished getting ready, I met my Daddy in the hallway. "I'm all ready to go, Daddy," I said with a smile. "Well, don't you look stunning, my sweet princess?"  Daddy said as he walked up to me. "Daddy, you're making me blush," I said shyly. "Come, my sweet blue-eyed princess, your surprise awaits," Daddy said as I took his hand with mine.

Jessie POV: I loved my daddy, very much, ever since I was a baby, but sometimes I felt like I wasn't his baby girl. There were nights when I would dream of two mean people, trying to hurt me, but I would see my daddy who would protect me from any danger. That's why I love my daddy. He's always there for me. (End of POV)

We pulled up to my daddy's club, the Smile & Grin. We went inside, to go to my daddy's second office where sat two packages. "What are those, Daddy?" I asked him. "Those are packages, sweetie and I do believe they are for you." My daddy replied. "Do you want me to wait to open them, I think you have a meeting later," I asked him. "You can open them now if want to sweetie. Anyway, I took the day off to be with you." He said with a smile. "You mean it's just us?!!!! No meetings, business, etc.!!!! YAY!!!!!!! You're the BEST DADDY!!!!!!" I yelled as I took the packages off of my daddy's desk and placed them by him. He took out his pocket knife and cut open one of the boxes. I looked inside and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was a Father-Daughter necklace set along with a Sapphire birthstone necklace. (Pictured below)

Then while I continued to look in the first box, I heard a strange noise coming from the second one. I went over to the second box, picked it up, and laid it on the floor. As I began to open it, I felt something cold and wet. As I was about to remove the lid, out jumped a black and white husky puppy. "OMG!!!!!! Daddy!!! Is the puppy mine?" I asked him as the puppy licked my face. "Yes, baby. The husky is your dog. All you have to do is name him." My daddy said. "I think I'll name him Loki," I replied. "Okay, Loki it is." My daddy said as he finished filling out the last space on Loki's adoption papers. "How did you know I wanted a husky, Daddy?" I asked him. "Lucky guess, Princess." My daddy said with a smile.

After we had everything packed into one of my daddy's men's vans, my daddy took me to a dress shop, because we were going out for dinner. I looked at all the different colors of the dresses, but I couldn't decide so I asked my daddy for help. "I like the pretty red one. It makes you more beautiful, princess." My daddy said as he helped me with the dress. "What do you think Daddy?" I asked him as I walked out in the dress. "You look just like a princess, my sweet blue-eyed baby girl." My daddy said as he planted a kiss on my forehead. "Do you like the dress, baby girl?" My daddy asked me. "I love it. Can we get it, Daddy? Please?" I asked him with big puppy eyes. "Of course, we can. Nothing is too good for my Jessie." He replied. "Now all I need are shoes," I said. "Alright, baby. You go find a pair of shoes and Daddy will wait right here." He said. "Okay, my sweet King," I replied. My daddy just smiled, making me blush. After a few minutes of searching, I finally found the pair of shoes I wanted. 

After I found my dinner outfit, I put everything on and showed my daddy. "Well, I must be in heaven because you look like an angel, baby girl." My daddy said. "Thank you, Daddy," I said as I kissed his cheek. Once we were done shopping, I was getting a little sleepy. "Time to go home, princess." My daddy said as he gently put me into the car and headed home. Once I had my nap, I saw my Uncle Frosty in the doorway. "Hey there sleepy head. How was your day out with your daddy?" He asked me. "Good. I got a new puppy, his name is Loki. I also got a new dress and shoes for dinner tonight." I said with a little bit of sleepiness in my voice. "I'm glad you two had fun today. Well, your daddy sent me up to help you get ready. He wants you ready by 7:00 pm." He said. "What time is it now, Uncle Frosty?" I asked him. "5:00 pm. Don't worry, we have two hours to get you ready. Now let's go get you get your bath ready." He said as I got out of my bed and walked to the bathroom with him. As we walked into the bathroom, I saw Loki, who pinned me and graced me with kisses. "L-Loki, stop," I said as he continued to lick my face. "Oh, so this is Loki, huh." My uncle Frosty said as he got Loki off of me. "Yes. Daddy got him for me and I love him soooooooooo much. Loki barked happily. "Okay, Loki. Go be on guard for me." I told my little fluffy puppy. Loki barked and stand guard outside of the bathroom door. After I took my bath and did my routine, I got into my dress and was ready to go by 6:45 pm. I called Loki and he and walked down the stairs and waited in the living room for my daddy. My daddy came down in his silver tux with his red velvet shirt, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. "Where's my beautiful lil Princess at?" He said in a singly-type voice. "We're in the living room, Daddy," I replied. "We're? Whose- oh. It's my princess and Loki." My daddy said as he came into the living room. "Are you ready for our special dinner, Jessie?" My daddy asked me. "Yes, Daddy," I replied as I took my daddy's hand and walked out to the car.
It was a fun car ride, I always loved seeing all the colorful lights, but mostly the bright stars in the nighttime sky. As we arrived at the restaurant, I saw a shooting star. "Daddy. Daddy! I just saw a star falling. Is the star going to be okay, Daddy?" I asked him. "That was a shooting star, baby girl. Yes, the star is fine. Did you make a wish on the star?" My daddy asked me. "I get a wish?" I said confused. My daddy chuckled and said "Yes, my dear sweet Jessie. You see, whenever there is a "shooting star " you're supposed to make a wish on it, just like you would on your birthday, but don't tell anyone what you'd wished for because the wish won't come true." My daddy explained. "Oh ok. Would you mind if we made a wish together, Daddy?" I asked shyly. "Of course, we can, baby girl. Now we both say this little poem. Star light, star bright. The first star, I see tonight, I wish I may I wish I might have the wish, I tonight." My daddy said. After we both said the poem, we both made our wishes and went into the restaurant to get something to eat.

As we walked to our booth, I saw a dance floor and a Dj. Plus the restaurant was huge, I was scared that I could get lost or worse, so I stay close to my daddy, by holding onto his hand for dear life. He looked down at me and chuckled. We had a wonderful dinner and we even danced to one of my favorite songs, which was Angel by Aerosmith. After a while, I was getting sleepy. Daddy picked me up, placed me in the car, and drove home. Back at home, Daddy carried me to my room, got out of my dress and put a pair of pajamas on me, pulled back on the covers, laid me down, and covered me. He called Loki and placed him on my bed and told him to guard me. He barked happily, making me turn. "Good night, Princess. I love you." Daddy said as he left my bedroom. At 3:00 am, there was a loud smashing sound. Bud and Lou started growling, waking Joker. Then he heard Loki growling and barking and Jessie yelling for help. Joker ran to protect his daughter. He swung her door open and saw Loki whimpering in a corner with a broken paw. "You put must've put up a hell of a good fight, trying to protect Jessie." He said as rubbed his head. He found a note saying "If you ever want to see your little girl alive and unharmed, you must go to the place where only nightmares reign." "That son of a bitch, I'LL KILL HIM!!!! NO, I'LL SHOW HIM WHAT TRUE FEAR IS HAHAHA" Joker said while laughing.

Meanwhile, at Scarecrow's hideout, Jessie is in a cell, crying. "Now my young friend. How about we play a game?" Scarecrow asked me. "No! I want my Daddy!" I yelled. "My dear, sweet child. What makes you think he'll come for you? He has no love in his heart. He may say "he loves you" but deep down inside of him, he HATES YOU!!!!!!" Scarecrow said. "No!!! Daddy loves me!!! When he comes, he's going to kick your butt and save me!!!!" I yelled trying not to show my only fear. "Oh really? Well, let's see what the nightmare venom has to say." He said as his men held her down and stuck a needle filled with a black-colored venom inside. 

I started to dream, that I was inside Arkham Asylum and I saw my daddy. He had an evil look on his face and a knife in his hand, covered in blood. "Time to die, princess!" He shouted. "No, Daddy. I love you." I  said as tears filled my eyes. "You love me? Well, I never loved you!!! I hate you! All you were was a pain in my ass, ever since you were a baby. I should have done this the night I found you!" The "nightmare" Joker said as he got closer to me. "NOOOOOOOO!!!!! DADDY!!!!!"I yelled as I started crying, while Scarecrow and his men watched me cry in fear. Just then a smoke bomb went off and I could hear punching and grunts coming from the men. Out of the smoke, what I  thought was the "nightmare" Joker, but it was Batman. He broke the cell door and went over to her. "No!!! Stay away, Daddy!!!"  She said as she cried. "Daddy? I wonder who this kid is and why did Scarecrow take her?" Batman thought. "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." Batman said. "No!!!! Daddy, I love you. I love you." She said as she started to whimper. Batman knocked her out with knock-out gas and took her outside, where Joker and his men were. 

"What the hell do think you're doing Bats?!" Joker yelled. Batman ignored him, for he was concerned more about the child. " Don't make me ask you again, Bats!" He shouted. "I'm not in the mood, Joker. I have to get this kid to the ER." Batman said. "Why are you taking Jessie to the ER?" Joker asked. "How do you know her name?" "She's... My daughter." Joker mumbled. "How do you know that she's your kid?" Batman asked. "I raised her!!! Now hand her over nice and easy and I may not kill you." Joker said as he put his gun away. Batman looked at the unconscious Jessie, who was starting to shake, due to the nightmare venom. Frost got a blanket to wrap her in, so she could stop shaking. Joker walked over to Batman and placed Jessie in his arms. "Just so you know, Scarecrow infected her with nightmare venom. She was crying and yelling. I need to make a cure but your kid needs to be with me." He said. "Why should I trust you, hm?" Joker questioned him. "Because if the venom stays in her, there's a possibility that she will die." He replied. All Joker heard was that Jessie could die. He couldn't live without her, for she was his world, his baby but most important she was his little clown. Without her, he was nothing. He looked down at his daughter and handed her back to him. "When she's cured, I get her back or something bad will happen." Joker sneered as he went to find Scarecrow. Batman took off with Jessie back to the Batcave. 

Once Joker found Scarecrow, he did the same thing as Scarecrow did to his little clown. "You're going to regret taking my kid away from me and torturing her," Joker said as he grabbed another needle filled with venom, stuck it into Scarecrow's arm and he screamed with fear.

Back at the Batcave, Batman had returned with Jessie. He put her on a bed and started to examine her. He took a blood sample and started to make an antidote and gave it to her.  Soon she stopped shaking and started to be calm and relaxed. Soon Joker called him and told him to meet at ACE Chemicals so he could take his daughter home. Batman agreed to meet him there. As he hung up, he walked over to her, picked her up, and placed her in the passenger seat. He drove to ACE Chemicals, where Joker waited. "Is she cured?" He asked in a demanding voice. "Yes, but if she starts shaking, yelling, or crying, give her this. It's the antidote." Batman replied as he handed Jessie over to him. Frost took the antidote and walked with Joker. He carefully placed Jessie on the passenger side of the Lamborghini and got himself in.

After he returned home, he took her into the living room and placed her gently on the couch. "Frost, watch her and notify me when she wakes up. I have someone to check on." Joker said. "Sure thing, boss." He replied. Joker went into a room, where a vet was just fixing Loki's broken paw. "How is he, doc?" Joker asked in a serious-like tone. "He's fine. He just needs to be carried for two days, because he needs to be off that paw." The vet said. "Good. Can I be alone with him?" "Of course." The vet said as she left the room. "You're a good dog. Thank you for protecting her, Loki." He said as rubbed Loki's head. Just then Frost called him. Joker grabbed Loki and took him upstairs to the living room where I was.

Once upstairs, Loki barked happily, when he saw Jessie. "W-where am I?" I said sleepily. "You're back at home, sweetie. You're safe now. Your Daddy saved you." Frost told her. "No. Daddy hurt me and said that he doesn't love me." I as tears filled my blue eyes. "Jessie, do you think that I hate you and don't love you?" Joker said as he came into the living room and laid Loki down beside her. "Baby. What you saw and heard was not true. I love you so much and I would NEVER EVER in my life, would harm you." Daddy said. "But it felt so real, Daddy. I was so scared when you wanted to kill me." I replied tearfully. "It's okay now. I'm here, Uncle Frosty is here and Loki is here. We're all here. What you saw was a mean trick that someone played on you." He said as he rubbed my back. "What happened to the person, who took me away?" I  asked. "Daddy made sure that he wouldn't scare you anymore, baby girl." He replied. "I know that you may not be around me after what you went through, but I want you to," Daddy said as he looked down seeing his daughter hug him tightly. "I love you, little clown." He said in a whisper. "I love you, Daddy," I replied.
