We made it home and I heard Jessica fall. I ran into her room and felt my heart stop as I saw Ruben with his throat slit.

"I'll kill Kilgrave." I said as I looked away.

I hit the wall beside me and I watched as Malcom looked at me sadly. I turned to look at Jessica and I shook my head.

"I have a idea how to stop Kilgrave. I'm going to prison." I said softly.

"You can't. What will you win by being locked up?" Jessica asked.

"I will get prof of him using his powers and help Hope." I said grabbing my computer.

"Okay, but I hope you know I don't like this." Jessica said sadly.

"I know." I said walking out of the apartment.

After talking to Hogarth tells me how I can get into Supermax and then I left and went home to check on Jessica.

"Where is Ruben's body?" I asked as I looked around.

"Bottom of the lake." She said crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'm doing this no matter what you do." I said as I walked out of the apartment.

I made it to where she hid the body and got it. I cut his head off and made my way to the 15th Precinct Police Station and laid the head on Clemon's desk. He took me to the back and we talked until I was set free. I went to see who got me out and stopped as I saw everyone pointing a gun at another person.

"Oh, everyone, calm down, you're killing the mood. Jackie. You're not surprised to see me. You had to know I'd come for you. Not this fast? I...I will admit to keeping eyes on you. Spies are easy to come by... for me." Kilgrave said hoping up and walking towards me.

"Do whatever you're going to do to me, but let them go." I said as he made it close to me.

"Well, I have to protect myself, so..." he said looking around.

"Then control me, not them." I said sternly.

"I have absolutely no intention of controlling you. I want you to act on your own accord."

"Act how? Suicide?" Is that why you've been torturing me?" I said angrily.

"Oh, my God. Jackie, I knew you were insecure. That's just sad. I'm not torturing you. Why would I? I love you." He said touching my shoulders.

"No you don't. You don't love anyone." I said pushing him away.

"You are the first thing, excuse me, person, that I ever wanted that walked away from me." He said moving a strand of hair out of my face.

"I'll go with you."

"You're only saying that so I won't hurt them. I mean you haven't even found my gift yet. I'm hoping you'll choose me just like I've chosen you. I believe you will figure out the same thing I did. That we're inevitable." He said with a smile.

"You will let Jackie Jones go and realize this is a joke and laugh. In let's say 30 seconds. Go home and search for my gift." He said as he grabbed the head and walked out.

I ran home and started looking for it. After awhile I saw the box that I was forced to dig up. I rushed over to it and open it to see Jessica's journal. I quickly grabbed my stuff and ran out of the apartment and to a taxi. I made it to my old house and let out a sigh as I got out of the taxi. I heard the front door open and watched as Kilgrave walked out and stood in the drive way. I followed him into the house and looked around.

"Welcome home." He said softly.

"Last time I was here there wasn't a bodyguard." I said as a man stood beside Kilgrave.

"He is here to protect me." He said calmly.

"From what?" I asked annoyed.

"Enemy's." He said softly.

He had the guy search me and I sent him a glare as he found my phone.

"You know I don't like to be recorded." He said deleting it from my phone.

"Are we done now?"

"Yes. I hope you know I won't compel you to do anything you don't want." He said softly.

"Good than if I'm staying you don't touch me." I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"Oh come on Jackie."

"No you said you won't make me do anything and I don't want to be touched by you." I said annoyed.

"Alright I'll show you to your room." He said walking up the stairs.

I followed behind him and up to the room. I saw that it was my old room and I put my bag on the bed.

"I have reservations for us tomorrow and a dress for you to wear in the closet." He said as he left the room.

I got up and looked into the closet to see a short red dress and high heels.

"I am not doing what he wants..... but the dress is pretty." I said bitting my lip.

"What could it hurt to wear it tomorrow?" I asked as I went over to the bed and laid down.

I woke up in the morning and put on a different shirt and some shorts. I walked down the stairs to see Kilgrave at the table and one of his servants cooking breakfast.

"Morning." He said with a smile.

"Okay if you want me to stay they gotta go. I'm sorry but it's weird." I said annoyed.

"Fine leave." He said looking at the woman.

I walked over to the kitchen and finished what she had been cooking. I put it on two plates and handed him one before sitting down.

"So you know how to cook." He said with a smile.

"Who doesn't?" I asked softly.

He looked down and I felt a laugh leave my lips.

"Wow you don't know how to cook. Okay come here." I said standing up.

I walked over to the oven and turned on the stove and grabbed a pan.

"Okay crack the egg into the pan." I said moving over.

He cracked the egg and I showed him how to flip it.

"I thought you said you didn't want me to touch you." He said with a smirk.

"Shut up." I said moving away from him.
