Prologue
3rd POV
It was just another typical day at the factory. Cars were being made, and delivered to dealerships to be sold.
Today, the workers were busy making old school Corvettes for the local Chevy Dealership. They were making Corvettes from the years 1953 through 1958. One corvette that stood out more from the others, was Jessica.
She was a beautiful red 1958 Corvette with a white roof, cherry red leather interior with white stitches, and gorgeous white-wall tires. She never expressed it, but she was excited to be sold. She contains her feelings and doesn't speak because she knows that she needs to blend in.
However, as she was rolling down the dynamo, a mechanic put his hand under her hood and began checking her brakes. From her perspective, this guy was looking under her dress. She didn't like it, and she slammed her hood shut, crushing the mechanic's hand.
As the injured worker was cared for, the general manager came by and climbed inside her. At first, Jessica liked him. But then he smothered the ashes of his cigar onto her seat. For that, she used the driver's seat to smash him against the dashboard and knock him out. By the time a worker came to check on him, everything was back to normal, aside from the seemingly dead body.
The unconscious manager fell out of Jessica as the worker opened the driver's side door to check on him. No-one knew how he was knocked out, nor did they suspect that Jessica did it. Unfortunately for her, the future didn't look so bright. Because eventually, she was left to sit in an old man's front yard. Where she waits, silently, to be bought by someone who will love and take care of her.
