(This is my first story, I hope its a good one! The song has nothing to do with the story, I just think Set It Off is amazing)

Jesse was running through the woods as fast as she could, she stopped and looked behind her. A good distance away, she could hear a something scream. "WHERE ARE YOU!?" It had shouted, Jesse dove into a bush as It drew near. After a while, It left. Jesse sighed in relief. She tried climbing out of the bush, but couldn't. "Gah! I'm tangled in the leaves of this god forsaken plant!" She exclaimed. She took out her pocket knife and cut her way out, she noticed she had torn her red jacket. "Ugh, Laura is gonna kill me..." She started walking back home.

She began singing a song of what was happening, she would do this whenever she felt bored. "I got chased by a where-bear, got trapped in a devil bush, ripped my jacket, and now my foster mom Laura is gonna kill meeee!" She sang. She looked ahead and saw her house, she ran to the door and went inside. "I'M HOME!" She shouted. Her foster mother, Laura, poked her head out of the kitchen. She gasped when she saw Jesse's jacket. "Jesse! What happened to your jacket!" She ran over and took Jesse's jacket. "I fell into a bush and it caught onto a stick." Jesse lied, the material wasn't light enough to get cut so it wasn't very believable. She took her Jacket back. "I'll fix it myself, Laura." Laura watched as Jesse walked up the stairs. "I wish you would call me mom." Jesse kept walking, she went to her room and set her jacket on the desk. She lay down on her bed. "And I wish I didn't have to live in this universe..." She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
