Jesse landed behind her friends who were in some strange place. She looked up seeing bedrock. She then looked at her friends a saw a purple haired girl. Jesse didn't recognize this individual. Her friends had stopped walking which gave Jesse time to ponder about who this girl was. When her friends started walking again, Jesse decided it was time to make her presence known. "Uh...hey!" She said which did catch her friends attention. Petra turned around and her eyes widened in shock.
"Jesse!?" Petra asked, stunned. This caused everybody else to turn around.
Radar ran over to his boss. "Jesse! I'm so glad you aren't hurt!" Radar said happily unaware of the irony that statement held.
Jesse was going to say something but before she could, Jack spoke up. "Hey Jesse, Good to know you're ok. Must be nice to be in the presence of me again!" Jack said to which he got hit over the head by the purple haired girl.
"Hey, so you're the Jesse I've heard about." The girl sorta asked but more stated then anything else. Jesse nodded. "I'm Xara, an old friend of the admin guy. I assume you know his name is Romeo." Xara said to which Jesse nodded again. "Hey, now I have someone else who had endured suffering by the hands of Romeo. You're lucky you got away. I would hate for somebody to endure the same fate as Fred did..." Xara sighed. "How exactly did you get him to let you go, and what did he do to you?" She asked.
Jesse darted her eyes to the side and then looked at Xara. "Well he sorta tortured me...and...uh...I'd rather not relive the unbearable pain through words." Jesse said and scratched the back of her head.
"THAT NO GOOD-UGH!" Xara got frustrated hearing this. She took a deep breath. "How'd you escape?.." She asked trying to calm her anger.
Jesse's friends were also curious about this.
Jesse looked around nervously before speaking up. "I told Romeo that he was right about him being the only friend I need and wasn't mad at the torture. I also apologized. He then made the suggestion that he would send me here without to not raise suspicion and I'd trick everyone and betray them at the end. I said that I would do it and not let him down this time. Little does he know, I would never for a second care or do anything for that evil bastard." Jesse said, revealing the whole plan smiling.
Xara seemed shocked but gave her an applause. "Bravo Jesse. Very clever." Xara said, clearly impressed.
Though Romeo was listening. When he heard Jesse's words, he was infuriated and even a little hurt.
Jesse felt a bit strange and excused herself to go and do something, to which everyone assumed she needed to go to the bathroom. Jesse ran off and hid behind something. Before Jesse could do anything else, Romeo was floating in front of her clearly enraged and his eyes were a bit teary. "WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER-" He was cut off by Jesse covering his mouth with her hands.
"Shhh! Quiet Romeo, they might hear you!" Jesse said and removed her hand.
"'You decided to betray me yet again and have the nerve to tell me to be quiet!" He was mad and a tear rolled down his cheek. Jesse noticed this.
"No Romeo, I'm saying that to trick them. They think I'm going to pretend to backstab them and then back stab you but what I'm really going to do is pretend to backstab them, pretend to backstab you, then backstab them for real. A triple backstab." Jesse said proud of her idea.
Romeo's raised an eyebrow. "Hm, not bad. Though it's what I'd expect out of my champion!" He grinned.
Jesse blushed a bit then looked at him. "Why'd you care so much about the possible betrayal? You clearly were crying." Jesse smirked.
Romeo's eyes widened and he sweated a bit. "Don't get any ideas! The thought of you breaking my trust yet again was just a bit painful!" He said an crossed his arms.
Jesse chuckled. "Relax I'm just messing with you." She said to which Romeo rolled his eyes. "Anyways I should get back to them, Romeo! I'll call you if I need you!" Jesse said. Before she left she darted her eyes to the side. She decided to do something and quickly kissed Romeo on the cheek before running off.
Romeo was frozen in shock as his cheeks began to get warm. A smile crept across his face.
Jesse ran back to the group. "Sorry about that. Had to take care of something. Well let's find a way out of this place!" Jesse said to which everyone nodded. The group traveled around the place. They went to Romeoburg first.
There was somebody in front guarding the place. They weren't going to let them through.
Romeo appeared in hiding and called the guy over. The guy excused himself to turn off the oven to which Xara and everybody else looked confused about.
He went to greet Romeo. "What's the problem?" The guy who I don't remember the name of and therefore will refer to as guy because I don't want to Google it asked.
"Let them through." Romeo demanded. Guy looked confused. "Uh, why?" He asked.
"Don't question it. But if you must know, the girl in the black and red outfit, her name is Jesse, my new best friend, she's going to betray her friends later. She's with me is what I'm saying." Romeo said.
Guy nodded and Romeo left. Guy went back to see the group. "I've decided to let you through." He said.
Everybody was confused but didn't question it and went through. They made their way through and saw the armor guy. Jesse ignored the guy and walked into the building. Everyone followed. The guy at the front of the building was sad.
"I know this place. It's called Romeo's challenge. He made it for me and Fred awhile ago. I'm sad with how things turned out." Xara said.
Jesse seemed intrigued. "Well, let's complete the challenge!"
