He can also give someone else brief immortality if he wills, but after using his immortality he cannot use it again for the rest of the day, and will have to wait until he can use it again.

Personality: Shy, serious, usually locks himself away from others, never shows his true feelings, dark.

Appearance: Jet is a very tall teenager with a very pale complexion. His left eye happens to be a shade of light gray, whereas the right is a shade of blood red. Jet originally had dark navy blue eyes, but as a result of Salem's testing, his eyes changed color. Jet has very shaggy black hair.

 Original Appearance: He wears a black t-shirt along with a dark gray leather jacket. His dons black ripped jeans and muddy black converse. Jet is also sometimes seen wearing a dark gray scarf.

New Appearance: Jet's new appearance consists of him wearing a dark blue jacket with a black t-shirt underneath. He keeps the black ripped jeans and muddy black converse. Jet also wears goggles, along with black gloves. Alternatively, Jet sometimes wears a red jacket instead of a blue one. Jet's eyes have also changed to a light gray color, showing that the effects of Salem's testing is starting to ware off.

Backstory: Jet never knew his parents because they abandoned him and his sister Midnight as soon as he was born. Midnight struggled to take care of Jet, since they had to move from city to city in search of food and shelter. When Jet was ten he was taken away from Midnight by Salem and was used as a test subject for seven years. During the course of those seven years Jet discovered his semblance. Salem wanted Jet to remain with her so he could work on his semblance and eventually make Salem immortal. However, Jet hated Salem because everyday he got weaker and weaker. He eventually decided to escape with three other test subjects and they formed Team JDGN. Ozpin allowed Jet and his team to stay in Beacon for a short amount of time. Jet's team decided they wanted to stay at Beacon, but Jet wanted to find his sister, so he left his team, but later came back, however he was thrown out of Beacon with connection with Salem, and Glynda believed he was a spy. 

Likes: The dark, being alone, Raura, his sister, people who understand him.

Dislikes: Salem, using his semblance, being thrown out of Beacon, working for Salem, having to use his weapons and battling.
