Backstory: Echo was born with a semblance similar to Jess's. He was seen as a very mysterious person. When he discovered his semblance, many people started to fear him because of it. Echo began to isolate himself and found it hard to control his semblance. Fearing that he may hurt others, Echo didn't attend Signal Academy, but got accepted into Beacon anyways, since his skill when it comes to fighting is actually very advanced. However, because of his semblance, Echo didn't want to attend Beacon either. However, he still went because his younger sister, Skylar, was going, and he was worried about her. Echo has been trying to control his semblance, but keeps on failing to. Brooklynn, Cardin and Zara's daughter, began to tease and bully Echo when she found out his semblance. When Echo met his teammate, Diamond, at Beacon, he formed a major crush on her, because she understood him and helped him. When he was out training with his younger sister Skylar, Echo's semblance grew out of control, creating scars on Skylar's arm.
