1. What genre/s do you love reading?
Biographies! I can enjoy a good romance book as well, but I'm a picky reader.

2. What genre/s do you love writing?
I'm trying to open my versions and write about other things, but so far it's been all romance.

3. Who inspired you to write?
I don't think somebody specific inspired me to write. I began this whole wattpad thing in 5th grade after my friend confided in me about a crush she had. I wrote a really cringe book about them, and she loved it. As I aged I seemed to just naturally enjoy writing. One day I realized I was in love with the concept of writing.

4. Would you consider a career in writing? Please elaborate on whether you would or wouldn't.
I definitely would, and am, considering a career in writing. I am currently a college freshman studying Media communications, which is literally writing. It's something I enjoy, and you want to pick a career that makes you happy.

5. Do you have any other hobbies outside of writing?
Besides writing I do scenery photography and have a fashion private story where I put together outfits and showcase them.

6. How old were you when you wrote your first book?
My first full, completed book on Wattpad was at 16. It was mid corona pandemic and I had started watching Henry Danger out of boredom. In the process, I grew a small crush on Jace Norman and wrote a fanfic about him called "Chasing Danger." As for a published book, like one that you could find in a store, I wrote one called "Surviving Seventeen" at age 18.

7. Who is your favourite Wattpad author/s?
Honestly, I don't have any. I don't read on Wattpad as much as I'd like to, I really just focus on my craft.

8. How do you deal with negative reviews on your book/s?
It depends. If it's criticism, I'll take it into consideration. If it's just blatant being negative just because, I'll ignore it. All cockiness aside, I know I have a gift. It may not be the sharpest, but it's there.

9. If you would write a book about your life, what would be the book's title?
I did! Haha, Surviving Seventeen

10. What's the hardest thing about becoming an author?
The hardest thing is building a following to be honest. I feel like the actual craft itself isn't that difficult if you like what you do. It's finding the audience and people willing to give your writing a shot that's hard.

11. How has writing affected your life?
Honestly, it made me stronger. People told me that I inspired them because of my writing. Knowing that I have the power to move others makes me realize that I am worth something after all.

12. Do you prefer writing Mature content or not? Why or why not?
I prefer writing mature content because truthfully, I don't want to interact with 11 year olds. Now I had always told myself that I'd publish a couple children's books when I'm a mother, because I want my babies to have something personal. Plus, based on all that I've written about in my life so far, I think mature content makes it more realistic.

13. What would you like to say to your readers?
I'd like to say that I appreciate you! I'm not an author without your reads.

A. What book are you most proud of and what genre is it?
I am most proud of "The Romance In Our Rivalry." It is an LGBT teen romance story.

B. If you could meet the characters in this book, what would you say to them?
If I could meet the characters, I probably wouldn't like many of them to be honest. Many of the main characters are not so nice people in one way or another. I'd probably converse with only Nova and Hailey. They were both nice and accepting from the jump.

C. Is there a character in this book you feel connected? If so, in what way do you feel connected with them?
I feel connected to a few characters in different ways. Nova and I had lived similar lives of struggling, things not going our way, and bad experiences with boys. Similarly to Hailey, I struggled with self harm. I have worked on my sometimes obsessive behavior towards guys, like how Nick is towards Nova. And lastly, I care about people a ton. If I like you, I will do anything for you. Just like Aubrey.

D. If you were placed in this book, what character do you think you'd be best friends with and why?
If I was in this book, Nova and I would be best friends. Given she is a black character, that alone gives her edge as I'm black as well. She is quiet and nice to everybody, just like me.
