After finding out that the test confirmed that she was "pregnant". Jenny headed home from school with her mom and decided the one thing she thought she could never do. She looked up a number for a doctors office and called them and booked an appointment for the next day. ...

The next morning she had waited till her mom left the house for work. Jenny went in her room and had already gotten ready and grabbed her purse and school bag and headed out to get on the subway. She needed to know for sure that she was pregnant and know what her "options" were.   

About thirty minutes later the subway stopped at her destination and she walked carefully across the street and went inside the doctors office and spoke to the front desk person about her appointment and they instructed her to wait and a nurse will be with her soon.

A few minutes later a nurse came out and called her name. "Jenny". Jenny got up and grabbed her bags. "Y..yes that's me". She said nervously and went back in the door with her. "Hi Jenny I'm Nurse Ashley". She said. "Nice to meet you, Nurse Ashley". Jenny replied. "Now if it's okay I'd like to weigh you and do the standard things first and then we can get to what the problem is". She smiled. "Alright". Jenny said and took off her shoes and stood there on the scales as the nurse wrote down the number and measured her height and later her blood pressure. "Well all of that, Jenny. Seems to be normal". She said. "But tell me what's going on". She said. Jenny looked at her. "I.. I'm pregnant". She nodded. "Have you took a test?". The nurse asked and Jenny said yes. "It was positive". Jenny added. "I just wanted to make sure and see if it was wrong or anything or how far I am?". She asked. The nurse nodded. "Alright well just sit here on this table and I'll get everything ready". She said. "It'll be just a few minutes".  She watched as the Nurse got everything ready and hooked up a thing to a little monitor and looked at Jenny. "Just lie back and pull up your shirt a little. The gel will be a little cold". She said. "I can try and tell how far you are". She added. "O..okay". Jenny said nervously. She was by herself and it made her more nervous. She looked at the monitor as the Nurse put the gel on her stomach and rubbed it in. "I think your a few weeks Jenny". "About a month". She replied. "T..that's my baby". She said noticing a small sized dot on the screen but you couldn't see much at this time. "Yes". Nurse Ashley said". Jenny nodded and looked at her. "What are my options?". She asked. "Well". Ashley went on. "I don't think you'd want an abortion Jenny. You're so young and!..." She trailed off. "What else?". Jenny asked. "There's adoption or you can keep it Jenny". "It's totally your choice. You still have a couple more weeks to decide what you want to do. This is my cell if you need anything, okay". Ashley said. Jenny nodded. "Thank you. What about that I've been really nauseous lately?". She'd asked. "Oh? That's morning sickness". Ashley replied. "Morning what?". Jenny asked. "Morning sickness". Ashley said.
