It was a night. But something changed. She really wanted to go look for Nate. Jenny headed over to Chuck's apartment since that was where Nate had been living for a while. She didn't know what to say, other than she was sorry for hurting him and Serena. She needed to find him. He was her missing piece, even if he belonged to Serena.

Jenny knocked on the door outside Chuck's apartment. "Hello Jennifer". Chuck said while drinking a scotch. "What do you want?". He asked. "Hello, Chuck". Jenny replied. "Is Nate here?". She asked. "No, he's not". "But you're welcome to wait till he gets back if you'd like". Chuck more drunkily said in his drunken state. Chuck Bass wasn't one for sobriety. "Thanks". Jenny sighed and sat down on the couch near Chuck.

A few hours passed, but really it was only a few minutes in reality. It felt like hours, inside Jenny's head. She started talking to Chuck about how she tried to break him and Serena up and how everything had ended badly and how she was sorry. But Nate hadn't had anything to do with her since. Jenny started to cry but Chuck wiped away her tears. "I can tell you're sincere, Jennifer". "Maybe he'll come around". Chuck tried to reassure her. Jenny smiled. She hadn't really smiled since that night happened.

"Care for a drink?". Chuck asked and got up and made himself another scotch with two ice cubes. "Sure". Jenny said. "Make it straight, I can handle it". "Alright if you're sure". Chuck laughed to himself. Jenny knew she deserved better and Chuck did too. Jenny sipped her scotch when Chuck handed it to her. She sighed and they got started talking about random things, as time passed by. It turned into a hour and Nate was still not back yet. Jenny figured he wasn't coming but something in her head convinced her to stay at Chuck's. Was it the Bass Charm?. Who knows?.

Jenny started talking to Chuck. "You deserve better". He said and leaned over and kissed her cheek. He tried to do everything to make her feel better. Jenny instead, kissed his lips back. "What are you doing, Jennifer?". Chuck asked. "It's called, kissing". Jenny said. And then a few minutes later. They headed to the bedroom. Jenny knew what was coming. She chose the right person. At least, she knew if she gave it to Chuck. He'd treat it was respect. Nate would probably hate her after. "Are you sure?". Chuck asked. "I'm sure". Jenny replied...

After that night, everything changed. Jenny changed and later on, she found out she was pregnant with their son.
