Let me summarize my feelings for this episode in one word *inhales* AHHHHHHH!!!!!
As usual here's the SPOILER WARNING!!! If you don't want to be spoiled I suggest looking elsewhere.

My goodness do I have a lot to talk about.

For starters I'm glad we got some more Cinder this episode and now that she knows that Ruby is headed to Argus it sounds like that's where the big fight this volume will be. But yes as we all theorized from episode two, someone did come in and ask Li'l Miss Malachite about Cinder. And that person is

The killer ice cream queen herself. Now I want to say two things about her. First admittedly when I first saw her I didn't like her Maia engine design but after watching a few more minutes I got used to it. Second I didn't think we were gonna see Neo so early. Here's why, if you didn't know this Cinder's timeline is two weeks further along then team RWBYs (as evidence by the news reporter in episode two.) and now it's been another week since Li'l Miss said that she would have her info in a week. So that means Cinder'a timeline is now three weeks ahead. I thought what would happen is, team RWBY would have their timeline and then after three weeks had passed we would return to Cinder since everyone would be on the same timeline. Then Neo would appear and attack Cinder, Maybe episode twelve. Oh well I am very happy though to see my girl. Oh how I've missed the mute queen.

Now their fight scene was awesome to watch. It was so satisfying watching Neo fight when we haven't seen her do that in almost three years. Also it was amazing to see that not even Cinder could beat her. They seemed pretty evenly matched the whole time. Also the fact that a song was playing while they were fighting makes me think that this is Neo's theme. I couldn't really hear every lyric but it seems to me that the song is about Neo craving revenge for Roman's death who she saw as her whole world. Maybe she really did have romantic feelings for him. Also I don't know why this made me laugh but I cracked up when Miss Malachite said for them to "take it outside" and they looked at each other before busting out the window.

When they were outside I couldn't help but notice that Neo's outfit looked a little more torn then when she was inside. Probably used her illusions semblance to mask the wear and tear. Also awwww when she walked up to Cinder wearing Roman's hat she looked so sad.

Now this I found interesting. Neo blames Cinder for what happened to Roman but Cinder told her it's Ruby's fault. But technically Roman wasn't killed by Ruby either. So I wonder if and when Neo finds out what really happened what she'll do. Oh and yes it cracked me up when Cinder said "let's talk" and Neo pointed to her throat and Cinder said "oh right." But now that they're working together I wonder what's gonna happen.

Back with Team RWBY I loved Maria's sass when they walked in the house. Everyone was all ready for a fight and Maria just walked in complaining about the cold. Also yes I agree the house is very creepy.

Now about the dead bodies in the bed, I wonder if they were attacked by some monster in their sleep since Qrow mentioned later that everyone in the town looked as if they had gone to sleep but never woke up. Plus the bodies looked as if something had sucked the souls out of them. And considering later both Weiss and Yang mention that they're sleepy I wonder if someone or something in the town makes someone tired only to kill them in their sleep.

Ok so I've been seeing multiple people comment that Yang isn't acting like herself this volume. She's being whinier, angrier, and colder. However I wasn't one of those people that thought that. Well until I saw this scene. Blake just merely offered for her and Yang to search for vehicles and Yang looked like Blake just insulted her. That being said though during that brief scene in the garage I liked that Yang finally admitted to someone that she's been having hallucinations about Adam and that she let Blake see her arm twitch. But Yang didn't need to be a jerk and act annoyed when Blake held her hand and said she wasn't leaving again and that she'd protect Yang. I mean I get Yang tries to be the one that protects everyone but she shouldn't have been so close to brush off Blake like that. I'm just hoping they mend their bond soon. Also I don't know why but it cracked me up when Blake said "Adam tries to get inside my head and make me feel small. But then I realized he just wanted to bring me down to his size." It made me laugh because Adam is a lot taller then Blake. So would she really be smaller if she was his size? Yes I know she meant metaphorically not literally but I wanted to make a joke. Also I couldn't help but notice how similar Yang and Blake's outfits are. Just saying.

Now I'm not gonna nitpick this too much but when Maria said she'd find a story to read the kids before bed I couldn't help but say "lady I think they've heard enough stories today."

During the scene with Ruby and Weiss I really liked the effects used when Weiss used her fire dust to light the candles. I thought it looked cool. I'm also glad that Ruby acknowledged that Qrow's been drinking a lot more since he found out Oz's secrets two episodes ago. I was thinking about that as well. But yeah girls you probably should keep the alcohol locked up so Qrow can't get to it. Also it was adorable when Ruby got excited about finding the cans of food, even though it's probably pretty old. I do like though that Weiss is starting to question why they're even trying to bring the relic to Atlas since apparently there's no way to beat Salem and everyone now knows that bringing any of the relics together is just bringing the gods' judgement of the humans that much closer. I feel like this is gonna come up more as the volume progresses.

To finish up the review I know people are gonna have their own theories about what's in the cellar that creaked open at the end. I personally think it's the grim with the long arms from the intro. Since in the intro we see Ruby fighting the Grimm in front of a tunnel that looks very similar to the one outside the town.

So aside from the Neo appearance I felt very unnerved by this whole episode. I'm not someone that likes suspenseful things so all the bumps and creaks and the dead bodies freaked me out. That isn't to say I thought it was a bad episode though by any means.
