RWBY Volume 6 Chapter 1: Argus Limited

I'm probably gonna do a better review or revamp this one after I watch the episode again tomorrow. So right now I'm warning you this is SPOILERS!!! If you don't want to be spoiled by my review then I would leave and come back later.

Seriously last warning. If you want to wait I won't be offended. But this is gonna be spoilery.

Ok here we go. The first scene was great and even thought it was a flash forward I was glad to see a little taste of what we were going to see later.

For the first official scene I was so surprised to see Adam there. I mean I knew we were gonna get him soon but I was not expecting it the first episode let alone the first scene. Whoever it was that chewed Adam out by the way umm props to you Adam needed to be reprimanded for what he did. Also dude I love you but you're a psycho for killing those Faunus just for trying to tell you you're not the person who should lead the white fang. And yes I was annoyed Adam still had his mask on but I know we'll see his face sooner or later. Also I found it weird that Adam referred to Blake as "the Belladonna girl." I don't know I found it strange.

Ok the next scene was great for two reasons, I liked how in the letter Qrow wrote to Ironwood he made Lionheart seem like a hero who died for his school instead of a coward. And also this scene was so well animated, everything about it was so fluid it was absolutely beautiful. The colors looked brighter and the character's models looks great. I especially loved Ruby using her semblance because it was probably the best I've seen in the show. Oh and can we talk about Nora imaging Ren in a swimsuit? Aww cute. When those two huntsmen showed up I could tell immediately one or both of them was going to die. They just seemed too cocky for their own good. And yes I found it funny the shade Oscar was throwing at them by saying "you know saving the world can be scary. But then people like that come around and I'm glad it's our job."

The next scene was my absolute favorite. First I loved Ilia's new outfit it was so cute! I already want fanart of it. So it seems that Ilia is gonna stray with Blake's parents in Mistral which I guess makes sense but I'm still sad to see her go. Now I will admit when it showed Ilia getting close to Blake and standing on her tiptoes and yet all we saw was the bottom of her feet I was reminded of the Pokémon scene where Serena kissed Ash. But no she just hugged her goodbye. The Blake and Sun goodbye speaking of which was very sad as it seems that we won't be seeing Sun this volume either, but at least he's taking his team to Shade to continue their training. Also when Neptune showed up in this scene the whole theater, myself included, erupted in cheers. And yes I found it hilarious that Neptune tried to hit on Ilia. Old habits never die I guess. It was so sweet when Sun said that he felt that Blake didn't need him anymore but that he knew what she did need was her team. Oh and let's not forget BLAKE KISSED HIM ON THE CHEEK!! I screamed no lie. Hopefully we'll see Sun soon. We need to after all that happened in volumes 4 and 5 with him and Blake.

For the next scene I loved the subtle callback to what beds the girls were sleeping on. It was the exact same way their bunks were set up at Beacon. Now when Blake tried to help Yang get her suitcase down it almost seemed out of character but I suppose it's her way of trying to be nice to Yang after what happened at Beacon. It also seems that Yang still hasn't fully forgiven Blake for leaving but at the same time she's glad everyone's together. Hey what do we have next? Grimm attacking the train and Qrow comes in to tell them, while holding a cocktail in his hand. Of course. Also it was hilarious when Blake said "just my luck." And Qrow said "not yours."

Now I'm not gonna spoil the fight scene because honestly you guys have to see it for yourselves. It's something I don't want to give away. You just have to experience it. But I will give some details to things I liked.

First of all who was right about one of the huntsmen dying? Me! I was. Second it appears that the relic also attracts Grimm. Which now that I think about it makes perfect sense. I also like how Oscar told Ozpin he wanted to stay in control instead of letting Oz take over. Good job kid. Ok second huntsmen you're an idiot you can't put peoples lives in danger just because you want to keep your job. And I will say the moment when the huntsmen hit his arm against the tunnel and screamed no lie I thought his arm had been taken off. And honestly it probably should've been. I mean hitting a concrete tunnel while riding a train full speed is gonna do a lot more then just break your arm dude.

So it seems that team JNR will reach Atlas first since they took the front half of the train and the passengers and team RWBY plus Oscar and Qrow took the back half of the train and the Grimm.

I loved Jaune using his semblance to amplify Ren's aura so he could mask the emotions of all the passengers. That was awesome.

When Blake decoupled the train and she saw Adam in front of her I wonder if it was a hallucination since he was wearing a ski mask and what appeared to be a long cloak even though it was clearly his outfit and mask.

The music playing through the fight scene was stellar and I already want the full version.

Again won't spoil the final fight scene but I will say Ruby and Qrow's spinning scythe combo was fantastic.

And finally whoever that Sherpa lady is she's a champion. Everyone else got thrown out of the train when it crashed and she just walks out unscathed and says "well that was exciting wasn't it?" Like Lady you're awesome.

Ok so that's my review. Feel free to talk to me about the episode but like I said I probably will make a better review after I watch it again.
