This is what happened to me before and after I watched this episode.
Before:
Me: I haven't watched this show in a long time. It's about time I watched another episode. What episode am I on? 10? Ok let's watch this.
After:
Me: *is banging my head on the wall* WHY??!

Yeah so if you've seen this episode you know why I got emotional.

First of all I don't trust Bradley at all. There's just something fishy about him. In the opening he just looks suspicious and this episode in particular just made alarms go off in my head. He just seems to know a lot about what the Elric's were researching even for the leader of the country. Also even though he said he was joking when he told Ed to keep quiet about what he learned the facial expressions makes me think he really doesn't want anyone to continue looking into what's going on.

So it appears that Ed and Al are gonna meet up with their old teacher again. I think we've seen her in a flashback before so it'll be cool to see her again. Also I thought it was adorable that Winry was fangirling over the town that's known for making automail.

But now let's get to the real emotional part of the episode. I seriously wonder if we're gonna learn what it was Hughes had found out. I had a feeling he was gonna die but it didn't stop me from hoping somehow he would survive. Also I agree with Envy, Hughes was pretty smart to see through his disguise. Speaking of Envy, he may be my favorite homunculus but man did this episode make me hate him a little. Not only did he kill Hughes but he did it disguised as his wife.

The funeral scene. That entire scene was emotional for me. It was emotional watching the Elric's on the train talking about how they wanted to do something for Hughes not knowing he was dead, it was emotional watching Elicia not understand why they were burying her father, and it was emotional watching Mustang cry over the death of his friend.

I was a little confused by the episodes ending I'll admit but I'm glad Hawkeye will be helping Mustang figure out what's going on. I totally ship them.

So yeah very emotional episode but I still loved it.
