Chapter 54: Like, a dream come true

Jessica's POV

I told Jenna the good news, well it was good news for me. I asked the teachers if I could help out with the costumes and they said yes. YES! I was squealing like mad in the inside. It was like a dream come true! Costumes, dresses, suits, say what you need and I will do my best at it! Over the years mummy had taught Jenna and I really well. We just followed what she did and the clothes come out like magic.

"That. Is. Awesome!" Jenna gave me a high-five. "I wanna help too!"

"I know right?! I can't wait to tell mom and dad!" I said.

"Unfortunately we gotta wait." Jenna sighed. "It was so happen that today they were gonna come back late."

"Well, I need inspiration!" I squealed and went into the fashion room. Jenna came in as well.

"You don't even know what you're gonna make yet." Jenna stated.

"I know, but I just wanna see all the amazing dresses and stuff over here!" I replied.

Jenna smiled sweetly at me and I walked around the row of clothes. There were blouses, skirts, jeans, but most of them were dresses. The beautiful colours made the room look like a rainbow. There's everything you need here to piece up a dress.

"So, do you want to finish your dress?" I asked Jenna.

"Not really, besides, it's not like homework, it doesn't have a deadline." Jenna chuckled.

"Your blue-yellow combination is really good." I complimented. "I would love to see the final product too."

"Nice try sis, I ain't falling for that again!" Jenna gave me a friendly punch.

"Oh come on! That's a motivation for you to NOT delay your work! Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today." I exclaimed.

"Well I am just highly motivated to not do anything right now." Jenna crossed her arms. "Deal with it."

I rolled my eyes and continued walking. Mom's dresses were just so nice, it's practically impossible to replicate them, only mom can do that. She said she replicated auntie Elsa's dress before. Well, I wasn't convinced at first, but now I am.

"So, what do we do?" Jenna asked. "I'm bored, really really bored."

"Dress." I simply replied.

"Anything else other than that?" Jenna snapped.

"Hmm... Nope." I giggled.

"Well, I'm getting out of here, maybe for a walk." Jenna headed to the door.

"I'm coming too!" I followed her.

"Why? I thought you wanted some inspiration?"

"Since I don't know what I have to make, inspiration isn't exactly required at the moment."

"I'm not buying it."

"It wasn't for sale."

"And you, weren't even supposed to say that."

"I have the right to say whatever I want."

"Never mind."

"Let's go see the rest?"

"Sure, but who?"

"All of them?"

"Starting with?"

"I don't know. Kristine and Kristen?"

"Fine, let's go."

"No problem!"

I grabbed the house keys and locked it. Jenna was waiting for me and the gate. "Race you there!" She shouted and ran off.

"Wait up!" I chased her. "No fair, you got a head start!"

"There's no fair in this!" Jenna laughed.

*Time skip*

"Really? That's great!" Mummy patted my back.

"Marvellous." Dad smiled.

"If you need any help, just ask!" Mom said.

"I just can't wait to start!" I squealed, about to jump. "I get to dance and make the clothes for the play!"

"Can you show us the dances?" Jenna asked eagerly.

"I only know the simple steps." I replied. "The teachers only taught us some simple stuff today. Besides, I need a dance partner for the first dance. The other one has no partner, and that dance was really fun!"

"I can be your dance partner, not!" Jenna joked. I messed up her hair playfully. "Hey!"

"Well," Mom clapped her hands. "This is most certainly good news for Jessica-"

"Make sure you make them look as beautiful as you!" Dad laughed.

"I will! They will be the centre of attention, promise!" I said. "As soon as I know what I can help with."

"Don't worry, Jessica's works are always the centre of attention." Jenna gave me a friendly punch. "Other than mom, mom always makes the best no matter what."

All of us laughed almost the same time. Then we were asked to go to bed, it was pretty late. "Sweet. Dreams." Jenna huffed.

"Oh, I already had a dream come true." I grinned.

"Yeah true, your so called, golden opportunity to help out with the clothes for your graduation ceremony or school concert." Jenna rolled her eyes.

"Uh huh, exactly!" I exclaimed.

"That ain't a dream come true at all! You just had a chance to make clothes, that is not a dream." Jenna crossed her arms.

"Well, to me, it is a dream come true." I snapped. "Now good night!"
