Eliza's POV

We followed Mrs Margaret to the far end of the hall, then we were told to sit down. "All right then, before I start telling you the roles, is every one of you certain that you want this particular role that you play? I would not like to see anyone forfeit during rehearsals and all. So, if you want to back down, you may do it now so that we can find a replacement before it is too late." Mrs Margaret said sternly.

No one moved, good, everyone's staying. "All righty then, excellent!" Mrs Margaret smiled. She reached for her pockets and took out a long list.

"Ok, Eliza and Elijah, please stand up and stand here." Mrs Margaret ordered and we did so. "So as you know you are the main characters, Eliza, you will be playing the role of Cadence. You are Cadence on Earth, but in the magical land of Avonlea, your name is Aria. Your real name is Aria, princess Aria."

"I'm a princess?" I blurted out. "I'm playing the role of a princess?"

"Yes. You will be playing the role of that. In the story, you do not know you're a princess until, you find out you have powers." Mrs Margaret replied.

"Powers?" Elijah asked this time.

"Yes powers. Allow me to tell all of your roles first please." Mrs Margaret said. "Elijah, you will be playing as Jayden. Your real name in Avonlea is Aron, prince Aron."

Elijah nodded then Kristine and Zack were called up. "Kristine, you are playing as Liana, Jayden/Aron's protector. While Zack, will be playing as Duncan, Cadence/Aria's protector."

I looked at Zack in disgust. Oh why wasn't Kristine my protector or something?! The last thing i need is a scene with that Zack! Celine and Noah joined us. "Celine, you will be playing as Guinevere, the queen of Avonlea, the twins' birth mother. Noah, you are playing as Tristan, the twins' uncle." Mrs Margaret listed out.

"My queen." I said to Celine, jokingly. "My princess." She laughed.

"Katy, Tom, both of you will be playing as their best friends." Mrs Margaret pointed to Elijah and I. "Katy as Lorraine, Cadence's friend while Tom as Scott, Jayden's friend."

"Marty and Helen, you will be playing as the parents who adopted Cadence." She continued. "Shade, Sabrina, you have chosen the role of the antagonists, you two will be playing as Marquis and Miranda."

"Sweet, I like that name." Shade gave Sabrina a high five. It was all down to Daniel. "Daniel, you will be playing as the store assistant, all right?" Mrs Margaret asked. Daniel nodded. "Right then, those are your roles!"

All of us began discussing about our roles. "A queen, a princess, a prince, a magical kindgom, oh this is so much!" Kristine squealed. "This play is AMAZING!"

"Kristine, you don't even know the plot yet, calm down!" I patted her back.

"I bet the plot is gonna be awesome!" Shade said.

"One thing, this guy." I pointed to Zack. "Oh come on, why did you have to be my protector?!"

"This ain't my fault!" Zack defended himself. "The teacher was the one that said I was playing as Cadence's protector."

"Jayden huh, I like my new name." Elijah chuckled. "Or Aron, whatever, they both sound great!"

"Wait, why didn't you have any adoptive parents?" Sabrina asked.

"I was wondering the same thing!" Elijah exclaimed. "Only Eliza had adoptive parents, I wonder why I didn't have any."

"Let's just wait for the plot." Kristine comforted him.

"I can't wait to know!" I smiled.

"Come," Kristine beckoned to us. We walked away from the crowd. "In case you haven't noticed, but the roles fit us kinda well."

"What do you mean?" Sabrina asked.

"Think about it! Magical land, powers, doesn't it suit us?" Kristine explained.

"Well, we do have powers." Elijah grinned. "Wonder what powers we have in the play?"

"This is awesome." Shade blurted out.

"I think both you and Sabrina suit for the antagonists, not that I'm saying you're evil, but it just suits both of you too well." I stated. "Well, after all, you are the children of our parents' enemies... Oops."

"Don't worry." Sabrina smiled.

"So, where are the scripts?" Kristine wondered out loud.

"Urgh, I can't even think of how much the main character has to say." Elijah groaned.

"Don't worry, it will be fun." I huffed.

Mrs Margaret told us about the timing for rehearsals and all then dismissed us. After around 10 minutes, we were allowed to go home. Everyone grabbed their bags and went out of the main hall. Jessica and Harold were waiting for us. "So, what are you guys playing?!" Jessica asked excitedly.

"Long story, let's get going back home and we'll tell you." Kristine replied.
