Chapter 41: Operation stop Pitch
Eliza's POV
People need to seriously stop calling every time I'm doing my homework! "Elijah, you go get it!" I snapped.
"Hey, I have homework too!" Elijah protested.
"I have more then you!" I backfired.
"Fine!" Elijah got up and walked to the phone. It was only a matter of seconds before he called me. "ELIZA!"
I slammed my pencil down and went to him, ready to slap him. "What?!" I asked. Elijah brought the phone closer to me. I listened along with him.
"Eliza, Elijah! You two have got to come here now!" Sabrina's voice echoed.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Kristine needs your help! I need your help! Shade needs your help!" Sabrina said.
"Slow down, what happened?" Elijah asked.
"Kristine asked me to get you guys here. The spell on Shade is about to become irreversible! Kristine is doing her best to intervene right now but she needs help!" Sabrina replied.
"We will be right there!" Elijah and I said in unison. Elijah said a quick bye and hung up.
I didn't even say anything and just ran out of the house with Elijah running behind me. I was worried about Kristine. She's risking her life! "Do we have enough time before Shade's spell gets stronger?" Elijah asked, panting.
"I'm more concerned about Kristine!" I snapped.
"It's a gender thing, for girls to care about girls and boys to care about boys!" Elijah yelled.
"Whatever!" I ran as fast as I could.
"Oh, screw this!" I heard Elijah. The whole road turned ice. No, you froze the road?! What if someone sees us?! My shoes immediately became ice skates. "Let's go!" Elijah skated away. "Don't worry, the ice will disappear once we skate over it!"
I was dumbfounded but I caught up with Elijah. "You're out of your mind!" I told him.
"I already said, screw this!" Elijah said to me. "Never mind, let's try this instead." The ice on the road vanished. "Now, wherever we skate, then only the ice will appear."
"Slightly better." I muttered.
Something golden colour caught my eye. Jessica and Jenna! They were on rollerblades. Harold and Henry were behind them, on skateboards. Wow, this got serious!
"Hey!" Jessica called out. "Sabrina called you guys too huh?"
"Rollerblades! Skateboards! Awesome! Hey you guys never told me this!" Elijah exclaimed.
"This just calls for drastic measures." Harold chuckled, making a sharp turn on his skateboard.
"Skating?" Jenna laughed.
"No choice but to get there faster." Elijah grinned.
Something, or someone swooped past all of us. It was a... Carpet? With a boy on it. "Hey, I'm Aladdin!" It was Kristen. "With the flying carpet!"
"Sweet!" Henry said.
"Now, let's go get Kristine!" I skated faster.
We arrived and nearly crashed into each other. We giggled as we removed out stuff. Kristen hoped down from the carpet and ran in. Henry quickly pulled him back. "Wait, we don't know what's waiting for us!" Henry said.
Two figures, Sabrina and Kristine approached us. "The gang's all here." Jessica smiled.
"Oh good, you're here! Ok so here's he situation, I got Pitch stressed out that everything keeps falling down but he isn't suspicious yet, that's good. I suggest that we ambush him and catch him by surprise. Kristen and I will quickly get Shade away from Pitch while you guys surround Pitch, all right?" Kristine said quickly.
"Uh... What?" Elijah blurted out. Way too fast, Kristine. I gave her the look.
"All right, let's take this into action." Harold said. Sabrina led us in the house and to the front of a room. Wait, we're gonna do it now?! I thought Kristine was gonna explain one more time!
I heard Pitch yelling and shouting, grumbling about the spell on Shade. "Are you ready?" Kristine asked. All of us nodded in unison.
Sabrina nodded as well and kicked the door open. We quickly did everything that we have to do. Pitch was startled seeing us. Shade was quickly taken far away from Pitch. Eliza and I shot off our ice and pinned Pitch to the wall. Sabrina, surprisingly, helped us by using her sand to make the ice stronger. I wasn't expecting that she would do that to Pitch.
"What is all this?!" Pitch roared with anger. "What do you kids think you're doing?! You too, Sabrina!"
"We won't let you make the spell on my brother irreversible!" Sabrina yelled.
"We'll stop you from doing so!" Harold said.
Kristine, Kristen and Shade walked into the room. Shade got control again, his eyes were gold. "Shade, good to have you back!" Elijah patted his back.
"I have control but not for long, he's raging inside." Shade explained and added the 'collection' of sand at Pitch.
"You kids think you can defeat me?!" Pitch shouted.
"I like to see you try escaping from your own magic!" Kristine challenged. She glanced at a closet and the doors flung open. "Damn, nothing helpful." Kristen mumbled and comforted his sister.
To be honest, I didn't even know what to do right now. Our plan was just to ambush Pitch and stop him from messing with Shade. I gave Sabrina the 'what now' look. She just shrugged.
"You idiotic children, just like your idiotic parents!" Pitch said loudly. Harold went forth and punched him, square in the nose.
"Now don't you dare insult our parents!" He yelled.
Shade blasted his sand at Pitch. "Their parents did nothing wrong! They're innocent!"
"Quiet Shade! Just wait till you get out of my life!" Pitch shouted.
With that, all the ice, sand, was gone! Pitch broke free. We are doomed, I said in my mind. "Now, you shall pay for ever stepping into this house!" Pitch brushed off the ice on him.
Jessica shivered. This was not good. Kristen and Kristine quickly put their telekinesis to use, throwing everything in the room to Pitch. Elijah tried to surround Pitch with ice but it didn't work. That is when I suddenly has an idea. The snowgies could help! There's a whole army of them and they're super small size.
I hurriedly pulled Elijah to my side and whispered to him. He got the idea and nodded. I then focused on Pitch who was dodging our attacks really well. His sand already hit Henry, so he's out. Shade's with him.
I heard a noise and turned around. Oh good, the snowgies are here. Good work Elijah. "Snowgies!" "What are those?!" Jessica and Sabrina said at the same time.
"I totally forgot about those little guys!" Harold exclaimed.
"Same here!" Kristine laughed.
The snowgies charged towards Pitch. "A couple of tiny snowmen wouldn't defeat me!" Pitch said and created a sand barrier to protect him.
All of us resisted from using our powers on the barrier, it was no use anyway, it would not have any effect. But, Elijah did try one time to be sure. To all of our surprise, his ice came flying back at him after it touched the barrier, knocking him out cold. "Elijah!" I rushed to him.
"Give me your best shot and you'll know how it feels!" Pitch roared with laughter. "Go ahead, try it! Two down with six more to go, not too bad for a bunch of kids!"
"Hey, there's still us!" Shade pointed to himself with Sabrina as she nodded. "Make that eight." Sabrina crossed her arms.
"Betrayal idiots!" Pitch yelled. "Why did I even create you two?!"
"All that we ask is that you release Shade!" Kristine said. "That is all!"
"NEVER." Pitch snapped. Something blurred my vision, it was all dark, pitch black. "Oof! Ah! Ouch!" I heard some voices. When the darkness cleared up, I could see, nearly everyone blacked out, lying down on the floor. There was only Pitch, Kristine and me left.
"So I didn't get you two kids, no worries, you'll join your friends who will soon go to eternal sleep!" Pitch smirked.
"No, no... " I muttered, looking at the rest who were lying motionless.
"Catch us if you can!" Kristine yelled and ran out, screaming. I felt myself being lifted and floated along.
"What's the plan?!" I exclaimed.
"This IS the plan!" Kristine replied.
"But what about the rest?! We can't just leave them in Pitch's hands! He would kill them all!" I shouted.
"I am well aware of that Eliza!" Kristine snapped. "We need help, apparently help from you guys just wasn't enough. And I'm sorry I got you into such trouble."
"It's ok, how do you suppose we get help?" I asked.
"I know we were supposed to keep this a secret, but we just have to call our parents now!" Kristine looked around. "Where's that phone?!"
"We're so gonna be grounded for coming here." I mumbled.
I let out a scream when I was suddenly taken far away from Kristine. I turned around and saw Pitch. "Now where do you think you're going? You're joining your friends in heaven soon!"
Kristine screamed as well and just froze there, not knowing what to do. 'Go, go!' I mouthed her. 'But!' She mouthed back.
"Oh don't go anywhere little girl, you're coming with me." Pitch smirked. Kristine ran to don't know where and hid. "No worries, not a problem." I was brought back to the room where the rest were and BANG! I blacked out.
