Shade's POV

Everything was cold, I hardly got control of my sight, but even when I do, everything would be all black and white and grey. I hardly ever had control of my actions either. There was this only one time where I had almost been normal again, with colour vision, in control of my body and all. But before I managed to walk around 20 steps looking for Sabrina, the spell on me took over me again.

Find our enemies, I suggested to my other self. He immediately took over my suggestion.

Nope,kill them, he argued.

Capture them, bring them to Pitch. I said.

He happily said yes and I pushed my will until I could see through my eyes. I have managed to get a little bit better at giving the other me suggestions. Last time it was all no, don't do it, bad idea, it's useless, why waste your time? Now I can get him to do what I wanted, as long I don't hint in too much good in it.

Right now, I was in class. My vision finally cleared but unfortunately there was no colour. It was all black and white. I turned to my left and saw Kristine.

Oh good, luckily it's her. She had pale skin and white hair? Whatever clothes she used to have now was black and white. Oh wait, stupid me. I could only see black and white! "Kristine..." I muttered. The more I controlled myself, the more I looked normal. I pushed my other self as much as I could, trying not to make any noise. The other me started putting up a fight.

"Shade?" Kristine looked at me in disbelief. "Do you have control again? Well your eyes are still red though..."

Other me went crazy on me! I felt like when you touch something super cold but it feels hot. Except imagine that all over your body, on top of a volcano! I was boiling hot! That's how it feels to try to retake control of yourself. Saying it hurts isn't enough, it kills. It's deadly.

I managed to be able to take control of my eyes. But Kristine didn't regain her colour, she remained black and white. I was so busy trying to take control that I didn't answer her. I let other me take over again. I didn't have the energy to be able to see.

"Go on Shade! Go on!" I heard Kristine's whisper. "I can see your eyes! I know you're trying hard!"

I pushed myself to the limit, it was painful but I tried not to bother about it. You can do this, Shade, focus! I suddenly let out a yell and my vision was clear. Not just clear, it was perfect. I could see everything the way it was, all colourful.

"Shade Black!" I turned, it was Miss Lisa. "Why did you yell? Do you have something you would like to share with the rest of the class?"

"Um, um..." I tried to think as I fought with other me for control.

"He's feeling under the weather miss." Kristine quickly replied for me. "He's got er... Food poisoning! Yeah, food poisoning, he threw up just now."

"Well ok then, but if you have to throw up Shade, you may just dash to the wash room." Miss Lisa said.

"Yes miss." I softly said. Kristine gave a warm smile at me and a thumbs up. "Thank you too Kristine."

"My pleasure, how long can you take control?" Kristine asked.

"Well, other me ain't forfeiting." I replied.

"You can do it, we will free you!" Kristine said firmly.

I smiled at her but that was when I let my guard down. He got me, pushed me down. I couldn't see any more. "Well there goes that..." I heard Kristine mumble. "I don't know if you can hear me or not Shade, but we will get you back."

Thanks Kristine. I said in my mind. Now as for you, other me, here goes another battle. But I am really exhausted. Every single time after I manage to take control of myself, a large amount of energy is taken away by other me. Other me has a little something up his sleeve.

It's like a never ending war between me and him, and I hate it. Did I say hate? I mean HATE!

Where am I now? I asked my other self.

You do not have to ask. He replied.

Idiot. I rolled my eyes. This is my body you're controlling you know! This doesn't belong to you, it's mine! You have no right to take over me! Even if you do, I own the right to ask you a question, and a simple question too!

Oh yeah? Well then, who gave me this? Exactly, your father. He was the one that wanted me to take over your mind and body. Just count yourself lucky that he didn't kill you. He said.

This whole thing just turned into another fight. We fought like mad. Like two fierce dogs in a cage. I'm the one in charge here! He yelled. I'm pretty sure I looked like I was attacking myself.

"Shade, Shade!" I heard Kristine. "Please, you're gonna attract attention soon! You look ridiculous! I don't know what's going on with you, but you're slapping and kicking yourself!"

I know, I know! I yelled in my mind. Give up! You're getting yourself in trouble! I shouted to other me.

"SHADE BLACK!" I heard another loud voice, Miss Lisa. There, see?! I shouted. He quickly stopped. Oh thank you, I said in my mind.

"What is wrong with you?!" Miss Lisa asked. You're the start of this, you have to end this, solve the problem. I pointed to him.

"Sorry Miss Lisa, I think his sickness has gone overboard." Kristine said.

"You're going to the infirmary right now." Miss Lisa ordered. "Kristine, please bring him there."

Oh great, now look what you have done. Other me said.

Me?! You're the one that did this! You were the one that was in control at that moment! I shouted.

Shut up. Other me snapped.

"Shade, are you all right? Well the kicking at slapping stopped, that's some good news." I heard Kristine.

That friend of yours is super annoying. Remember what happened in the canteen? What does she think I am? Dragging me like an idiot. Other me stated.

Now don't you dare insult Kristine! I snapped. And we fought again, making ourselves look ridiculous.
