Rapunzel's POV

Eugene gave me another hug. "Oh I'm so glad after all that happened." He said. 

"You've been saying that how many times already." I smiled. "You little smarty."

"Yeah, I know right? I was so awesome in finding who the real you was." Eugene boasted. 

"That's my husband." I giggled, ruffling his hair. "Here, you hold this." I handed him the frying pan.

"If only I brought another one with me." Eugene sighed. "Then both of us will have one."

"You're the one without a weapon at the moment, I have my hair." I crossed my arms.

Eugene smiled widely and we continued walking arm in arm. Everything was going well until we reached a crossroad. Great, which path do we take?!

"Which?" Eugene asked. 

"Do I look like I know?" I asked.

"Let's just keep going straight?" Eugene suggested and I just nodded. It's better than standing here doing nothing. 

The eerie silence is really creeping me out. I held Eugene's hand tight. Something was just so wrong.

"AHHHH!" Eugene's blood curling scream echoed. 

"Eugene!" I turned to him. Soon, I too felt an intense amount of pain in my head. I blacked out.

Eugene's POV

"Eugene!" Punzie turned to me. I was horribly in pain. Punzie felt it as well. I passed out on the spot.

Rapunzel's POV

I opened my eyes in panic. "Eugene?" Was the first thing I said. "Where are you?" 

"Save your energy looking for him." A voice said.

"Wait... That voice..." I looked around. "Go-"

"That's right, it's me, Gothel." Gothel walked up to me.

"What are you doing here." I glared at her. 

"Won't you welcome back this old friend of yours?"

"You were never my friend. Now answer me, what have you done to Eugene?"

"Nothing."

"Tell me!"

"I didn't do anything to him, girl." 

"Then why are you here?"

"To take care of... Unfinished business."

"Which is?"

"Finishing you once and for all." Gothel took out her dagger. 

"Woah, wait, what?!" I yelled. I looked at my surroundings. It looked like a park or something. I had no time to think so I decided to run first. 

"And where do you think you're going?" Gothel chased me. 

Yeah, now I really needed that frying pan. I ran for dear life. I have to think of a way to get rid of her first. I spotted a lake and ran to it. I took a deep breath and jumped into the lake. 

I kept swimming until my head bumped into something hard. I looked up and saw it was something like a cave. Wait, a cave in a lake? 

Eugene's POV

I woke up and quickly looked at where I was. My head still hurt a little. I brushed the dust off me and explored this place. Where is Punzie? What is this place?

"Anyone there?" I shouted.

"Oh yeah, of course someone's here..." I heard a voice.

"Uh.. Hello sir, could you tell me where I am?" I asked.

"It doesn't matter on where you are." The voice replied.

"Who are you? Show yourself!" I yelled.

"With great pleasure." The voice said. I saw two figures approaching me. The minute I saw their faces, I panicked. It was the Stabbington brothers. They horribly bullied me back when I was young. They made me to steal stuff for them. It was so long ago, I can't even remember their names!

"Flynn Rider, long time no see." One of the twins said.

"How many times do I have to tell you, my name is NOT Flynn Rider!" I shouted.

"Whatever Rider." The other twin said.

"My name is Eugene!" I snapped. "What are you two doing here?! I thought you got jailed for eternity."

"Is it not obvious enough? Us Stabbington brothers have a brain ok? And as for you, Flynn, we have some unfinished business with you." Twin one pointed at me. I'm just gonna call them twin one and twin two now.

"Speak for yourself." I crossed my arms. "You were the one that forced me to steal, you didn't wanna get your hands dirty so you got me to do the work."

"Shut up." Twin two groaned.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes. "You guys might as well just get out of my sight."

"Of course. For we shall send you to heaven or hell!"  Twin one charged at me.

I hurriedly smacked his face with the frying pan and ran since twin two ran after me. "You better back off or you'll end up like your brother!"  I warned, still running.

"What's so great about smacking faces with a frying pan?" Twin two laughed.

"Would you like to find out?!" I challenged, turning around and pointing the pan at him.

He smirked at kicked the frying pan out of my hand."My pan!" I exclaimed and quickly ran. This just got a whole lot harder.

Rapunzel's POV

"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine... " I sang, trying to make some light in the cave I found. Please tell me there's a way out of this 'park', I said to myself. I carefully walked on the steep slope of the cave.

There was a bright light at the far side. Is it a way out? With curiosity, I walked towards it. I took a peep after reaching the far end of the cave. Damn it, I'm still at the park!

I walked out, annoyed. "There you are!" I turned around, revealing it to be Gothel, still chasing after me. This time, I was much more prepared. I used my hair and threw it to wrap around a branch. I pulled hard and waited for Gothel. I quickly let go off my hair and bang! One blow to Gothel's head.

Yes! I cheered in my mind. I grabbed Gothel's dagger and threw it away. Now it's a fair fight. I ran off, trying to get some distance between me and her. Gothel was already conscious, that was way too fast!

I used my hair as a lasso and flung it at her. It wrapped around Gothel tight. "Scoundrel!"  Gothel shouted.

"Ha! I've been called worse." I burst out laughing. "You on the other hand..." I grabbed my hair and acted like a cowgirl. I slammed Gothel to a tree and laughed again. "Don't worry, there's more to come." I grinned.

Eugene's POV

"Stay away from me, stay away!" I yelled, running like mad. Both the twins were chasing me. I decided to make a dangerous sharp turn back to them to get the pan back.

Both of them were taken aback by this. "So you've come to deliver your death?"  Twin one asked.

"Nice try." I smirked at them and ran to the frying pan.

"That 'weapon', won't help at all." Twin two crossed his arms.

"Just you wait, till a pan mark is left on your face." I challenged. "I would love to see that."

The brothers chased after me and I did a silly face at them then I ran. One ran faster than the other. I took the opportunity to lead him further than the other twin.

I aimed one full swing of the frying pan at him. SMACK. On. The. Face. I slammed the pan at him nonstop. Only to find out he turned into black sand. "Oops." I blurted out.

"What have you done?!" The remaining twin asked.

"Don't ask me! He just turned into this sand!" I exclaimed.

"I'll make YOU turn into sand!" He snapped.

I ran away from him. Sand? I wondered. Wait, this is an illusion, isn't it?! These two people aren't real, they're just an illusion made from Pitch's nightmare sand! Defeating them would most probably get me out of trap number two.

Rapunzel's POV

I threw Gothel to everything! Bam here, bam there. I spotted a boulder and aimed Gothel at it. Sweet dreams Gothel, I said in my mind. Gothel's head hit the boulder, I swear I heard a crack sound.
Suddenly, Gothel began to change. She... Disintegrated, into black sand. The park suddenly wasn't the park any more. I looked around at where I was this time.

I'm back, at the labyrinth? Then where's Eugene?

Eugene's POV

"Ha! You should see your face loser, cause you look, rediciulous!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I grabbed a pebble as I was running and began to aim it at him.

I threw it at his face and it hit. Spot on! I ran towards him and slammed the frying pan on his face. I gave a kick to his stomach as well. Soon, the twin ended up like his brother. Disappeared into nightmare sand.

I only blinked for one second and I was surprised to find myself back in the labyrinth. "Punzie!"  I ran to her.
"Eugene! Oh thank goodness." Punzie hugged me. "Thank goodness you're all right!"

"Who did you have to face?" I asked with interest.

"Gothel." Punzie replied. "You?"

I sighed. "The Stabbington brothers, do you remember I told you about them before?"

"Yeah." Punzie said.

"All righty then, let's continue and be ready for the rest of the traps." I said with confidence.
