Harold's POV

"So we have to walk home but which road again?" I asked.

"No idea." Kristine sighed.

"Oh and Shade, I think you better not be with us." Eliza stated. "I fear that your cover might blow if Pitch is spying on us on the way home."

"Are you sure you guys will be ok without me? Although I can't help much either, I've already told you what I know." Shade asked.

"Don't worry, we'll find a way somehow." Elijah assured him.

"We wouldn't want to attract attention, Shade, you better go first." I said to him.

"Well... Ok then, be safe! I'll see you tomorrow." Shade said and started walking.

It was just us. "So... Now what?" Henry asked.

"What road do we use?" Jenna asked.

"Is there no other way to get home?" Kristen asked.

"It's a dangerous journey ahead of us." Eliza sighed.

"It's just a walk back home, only filled with traps!" Elijah said, horrified.

"Technically, it's only one trap." I corrected him.

"But it's no ordinary trap, it's dangerous!" Kristine huffed.

"A dangerous walk placed with a trap on a journey home." Elijah said and burst out laughing.

"Nice title." I grinned.

"Come on, we need to find our way home." Jessica said loudly. "I don't want to be a siting duck here."

"Well all of us can go home actually, the trap is only set for you sisters." Henry stated.

"Even so, we have to protect them." Kristine crossed her arms. "How about... If me and Kristen use our powers on Jessica and Jenna?"

"What do you mean?" Jenna asked.

"Think about it, Shade said the trap would activate only when the targets steps into it. So, if both of us levitate Jessica and Jenna, they can't step on the trap!" Kristine explained.

"As great as that sounds, we can't do it. One, we don't know where the trap is. Two, people could be watching us. Three, Pitch could be watching us as well! If you were to start levitating them from right now, it would attract a lot of attention!" Eliza protested.

"Just say it's a street show." Elijah suggested.

"Well if it was one, people would believe, but not Pitch." I said.

"Wait, I just forgot, if Pitch is really spying on us, he would already recognise us! Don't we look pretty much like our parents?!" Kristen exclaimed. "Once he sees us, he would take us!"

"That's why I've come prepared." Kristine grinned as she took out a couple of hats. "They're mom and dad's hats, big and will definitely cover our faces."

"Do you have enough for all of us?" Henry asked.

"Duh." Kristine said as she gave all of us a hat. Eliza tried hers and it almost covered her whole head.

"But... Won't this attract more attention?" I asked in doubt. "Eight children in super large hats?"

"Do you have a better idea?!" Kristine asked in frustration.

"Ok, ok, we'll go with your plan." I raised my hands in defence.

Elijah already began walking. "Wait, are we just taking the normal way home?" Jessica asked.

Elijah just signalled us to walk along with him. He was writing something on a notebook. After he finished writing, he passed it to me. I read it carefully with Jessica and Jenna. Nice plan Elijah, I smiled to myself. Elijah wrote that the trap was only on the road so if we were to not walk on the road, we should be safe. He suggested that we walk on the grass along the road instead. He would snap his fingers and all of us will proceed to the grass. I gave the note to Eliza and Kristine.

After the notebook finished passing around, Elijah snapped his fingers instantly. Jessica and Jenna were the first to get on the grass since they had to avoid the trap the most. I walked towards Elijah. "Great idea." I whispered to him. Elijah gave me a thumbs up. "We gotta keep it quiet so no attention will be attracted."

"Thanks to you, it wasn't such a dangerous walk at all." I smiled widely.

"Don't get your hopes to high, we need to keep our eyes open." Elijah reminded.

Kristine and Eliza kept watch on Jessica and Jenna. "Remember, if, if, we accidentally activate the trap, Kristine, Kristen, you have to quickly levitate Jess and Jen before it's too late." Eliza stated.

"We're almost to Eliza and Elijah's house." Kristen pointed.

"No, we're walking Jessica and Jenna to their house first." Elijah said. "They must not take a single risk."

Henry walked closer to me. "Do you see anything?" He whispered to me.

"Nope, nothing yet. I've kept good watch as well." I replied.

We reached the T-junction to Jessica and Jenna's house. "Oh no, there's no grass here!" Jenna exclaimed. "What do we do, what do we do?!"

"Kristine, Kristen." I beckoned.

"How about our hair?" Jessica suggested. "There's a tree, I mean, branch over there."

"Too risky Jess, what if you fall?" Eliza asked.

"The other side of the road isn't that far." Elijah stated. "Kristine and Kristen can handle it, right?"

"Of course we can!" Kristine and Kristen said in unison.

Jessica and Jenna were immediately levitated as Kristine and Kristen walked along with them to the other side of the road. "I'm wondering if I should freeze the net just in case?" Elijah asked.

"No." "Yes." Eliza and Henry said at the same time. "We can't use our powers here!" Eliza said.

"Oh come on, who cares who sees us now?! Would you rather see our friends get captured?!" Henry argued.

"Oh stop arguing already, those four are already safe!" I snapped and walked across the road.

We continued to walk all the way to Jessica and Jenna's house. "Well, we're here and you're safe." I smiled.

"Thank you all so much." Jessica smiled back.

"Just remember we will be doing this every day, ok?" Elijah crossed his arms. "We can't tell whether the trap will still remain there so better safe than sorry."
