Chapter 10: Let It Go (2)
Jack's POV
The minute Elsa finished singing her song, I don't know what got over me, I just stood up clapping and yelling "Wonderful! Bravo!" and the whole class began clapping. I saw Tina glaring at me. "What?!" I whispered to her. "Nothing." She shrugged. Despite Elsa's hobby i singing, I had no idea that Elsa could sing this well! It was amazing! I really loved the part where she sang 'The cold never bothered me anyway.' However, just when she was about to end her song, I saw something - snow. Snow! Yes, snow! I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things, but no, it really WAS snow! Snow on Elsa's hand?!
I admit that I did wanted to make some snow to make the song more entertaining, but I resisted, my powers are meant to be kept a secret except to my family and The Big Four. Punzie also kept her powers a secret. Hiccup kept his secret of keeping a dragon, and Merida kept her secret of her amazing talent in archery. Honestly, I didn't think it was necessary for Merida to keep her talent a secret, but she insisted on it.
So, back to the point. I saw snow on Elsa's hand! My mind was full of questions. I leaned over to Punzie and asked "Did you see that?!"
"Elsa singing? Yeah, it was beautiful!"
"No, not that! Did you see what was on her palm?!"
"No, why? What was it?"
"Um.... Maybe I'm just seeing things." I decided not to ask anyone else. I decided to ask Elsa instead. A lot of students surrounded her. I pushed my way through. "I want to talk to Elsa!" I spoke up. All the students backed away and I sat in front of Elsa. "Wha-What do you want?" She asked. She was really shy, I thought.
"I want to ask you something, can we talk somewhere more private?"
"You can just ask me here."
"It's about your singing."
"What about it?"
"Well first off, your singing was really beautiful-"
"You wanted to go somewhere more private just to say that?!" She cut in.
"No, there was something else. Something FAR more than that."
"And what will that be?" She crossed her arms.
"I saw something, when you were singing, there was snow on your hand." I whispered to her.
"Sn-snow? That's impossible, it's summer, Jack. Are you out of your mind?" She laughed.
"I'm just telling you what I saw, and I want to be sure of it. Was it snow on your palm?"
"No! You must be imagining things. Maybe you need glasses." Elsa chuckled.
"...Fine. But I still ain't believing that."
I walked back at sat down. "What were you talking abut with Elsa?" Tina asked. "Nothing." I replied. I kept re-imagining the scene just now. I am 100% sure I saw snow on Elsa's hand. She couldn't have brought it from home, it would have melted by then. And besides, snow wouldn't last more than 5 minutes in summer. Which led to one least possible option, did she have POWERS?! Well, I had the power to control ice and snow, and Elsa's song, it kinda described someone who had powers and let it all go. The song kinda matches her, moreover that she made the song herself. Was that song made to describe her? That she had to keep her powers a secret? That she could be free when she was alone and let out her powers? That could explain the snow that appeared out of nowhere.
And then again, how in the world could I think Elsa had powers?! Just because I had powers doesn't mean everyone else has! Then, how in the world did snow appear on Elsa's hand?! It was definitely not cotton or a piece of paper of anything else white, it was SNOW! Oh my gosh, I'm totally losing it!
"And that wraps up our class, class dismissed!" Mrs Ariel clapped her hands and all of us went to our next class. I left the class, dumbfounded. I need to talk to Elsa again. Hopefully she'll be in my next class.
