Jack's POV

This was it. Today's the day my mom and dad are going to divorce. I didn't know what to feel. Emma stood beside me nervously. "What do you think will happen?" She asked.

"Um... They're going to divorce and, well, I don't want to know." I gulped.

"Was it necessary for us to come as well?" Emma crossed her arms.

"I don't know, I guess we just had to say goodbye to dad?" I guessed.

"I hate him already, ever since you got into that accident." Emma cut in.

"You really do not know why he didn't want to tell me about my past?!" I asked again.

"Jack, you asked this question billions of times already and the answer is no." Emma replied.

I remained silent as I waited in front of the building. Where were mom and dad? I didn't know if I wanted to face dad. Emma paced back and forth, moaning.

"No Anna, I will not buy you 5 slices of chocolate cake." Wait, I recognised that voice, Elsa? I turned and saw Elsa walking with Anna.

"Huh? Jack! Is that you?" Anna waved to me.

"Hi Elsa, Anna." I waved back.

"Fancy meeting you here." Elsa gave me a hug.

"Hi future sister in law!" Emma cheered.

I blushed madly. Elsa was the same, tomato red. "So, what brings you here?" I asked.

"We have.... Uh, well..." Emma stammered.

"Today's the day." I simply said.

"Oh ok." Elsa patted my back.

This moment, mom and dad appeared. They didn't look too good. Dad's expression immediately changed when he saw who was beside me, Elsa and Anna. It feels like I can read his mind. He was boiling with anger.

"Um... Hello Mr and Mrs Frost." Anna greeted. Elsa made a small hi and tilted her head down.

"What are they doing here." Dad pointed to Elsa and Anna.

"They just happen to pass by." I quickly replied.

"We'll be going in, now." Dad ordered and walked into the building. Mom slowly followed inside. Emma hurriedly held mom's hand and walked in as well. I turned back to Elsa and Anna. "I have to go. I'll call you!" I gave Elsa a quick kiss and ran in.

Me and Emma were allowed to not join mom and dad during the signing of the contract. I let out a sigh of relief. Both of us sat down while mom and dad went into a room. "So, all they have to do is sign a paper?!" Emma questioned.

"I guess so." I sighed.

"You only need to sign papers to divorce? It's that easy?!"

"Well I seen some TV shows where couples divorce. And yes, they do sign some papers and what not."

"Wow."

I sat down, feeling really uneasy. Why am I even here?! There wasn't much to do. My phone was useless at this moment. Most of my apps needed an internet connection. Emma took a peep and I brushed her away.

"What?! I just have nothing to do." Emma shrugged.

"What's taking so long in there? Do they need to sign a thousand papers?" I questioned.

"You're the one that saw TV shows about it!" Emma pushed me.

I stood up, I couldn't bare the tension surrounding me. I could totally be going insane right now. My legs were shaking like jelly. Why am I even like this? I have no idea.

Emma started to jump around. Is she feeling the tension too? "I can't stand it!" She said loudly. "Emma, I know how you feel, but please don't do it here."

I pulled Emma and sat down with her. "I'm feeling the tension, just as you. But please, you know where we are." I calmed her down.

"Oh Jack, what if something bad happens?!" Emma hugged me tight. I could hear her crying.

"There, there, don't cry." I patted her back.

The door finally opened, mom and dad walked out. I gulped nervously and quickly gave Emma a nudge. She wiped her tears and tried to be as normal as possible. Stay calm Emma, stay calm! I yelled in my mind. You too, Jack! Stay calm!

"Well, we're done." Mom said.

"Yes, I'm done with all of you!" Dad shouted and stormed out. I stood there in shock. He just left like that?! Without even saying a goodbye?! What kind of a father is that?!

"W-Wh-Wha-What?!" Emma stuttered. "What was that?!"

"Well... I guess that you didn't have the chance to say a proper goodbye to your father." Mom stated.

"He's not my father any more." I said sternly.

Emma went to mom and hugged her tight. I just stared at the door that dad walked out. What kind of a person does that?! Not even human worthy!

"Ca-Can we go now?" I asked. "I need to throw out my anger somewhere else."

"Yeah, let's go home." Emma said. "Wait, where is he going to stay now?"

"I'll tell you more when we get home. Let's go." Mom walked to the door.

"You guys go, I'm going elsewhere." I walked out of the building. I wanted to go somewhere I can be alone and scream at the top of my lungs.
