Jack's POV

I jumped on my bed, staring at my phone in amazement. Emma called me 20 times?! Does't she know that I'm in class?! Did I leave my phone on silent?!

I called her quickly. What was so urgent that she had to call me so many times?

"Hello?" I said.

"Jack! Oh you've call, finally! What have you been doing when I called you?!"

"I was in class?"

"Oh right... Sorry! Anyway, let me just get straight to the point."

"Why in the world did you call me 20 times?!"

"Oh it's horrible! Horrible I tell you!"

"Tell me, what is it?!"

"It's mom and dad!"

"What happened to them?"

"They fought and fought and fought then they wanted to have a divorce!"

"WHAT?! They already divorced?!"

"No, not yet."

"Why and what did they fight about?!"

"Well, they fought about you!"

"ME?! What about me?!"

"Remember when you came to dinner that time?"

"Yeah? But that was quite a while ago?"

"The moment you said about your friends from your past, dad got so mad that he wanted to move you to another college!"

"WHAT?! Serious?!"

"Yes! Mom argued that there was nothing wrong with you seeing your old friends and dad just snapped!"

"Why doesn't he want me to remember about my past?!"

"I don't know! Mom doesn't know either!"

"So the divorce is because of me?! Just because I had some dumb amnesia and my parents don't want me to remember?!"

"Hey, hey, hey, only dad didn't want you to remember."

"So, now what?! When are they divorcing?! Am I really going to move to another school?! Who is mom taking and who is dad taking?! Who are you going with Emma, and what about me?!"

"One question at a time! I do not know when they are going to divorce, I doubt you would be transferred to another school, dad didn't want any of us! So I think mom is taking both of us, which I hope so."

"Oh my gosh! What is wrong with dad?! Why?! WHY?!"

"Stop shouting!"

"Quick, tell me, who is at home right now?"

"Only mom."

"I'll be right there."

I quickly hanged up and ran out of my dorm. I had to go back to my dorm because I forgot my car keys. Dumb me. I dashed across the hallways.

"Jack?" A voice called out. I turned around to see it was Elsa.

"Yes Elsa? Sorry but please make it quick. Oh and I can't go out with you later, I'm so sorry!" I walked to her, gasping for breath.

"Where are you going?" Elsa asked.

"I.... Something happened back home." I stammered.

"Well, don't let me bother you, go then." Elsa gave me a hug.

"I'm sorry we can't go out!" I said and went straight to my car.

Just my luck, a traffic jam! I impatiently waited in the car.

*Time skip*

"Emma! I'm here!" I yelled loudly.

Emma came running out and dragged me into the house. Mom saw me and smiled weakly. "Mom, what happened?" I sat down beside mom.

"So Emma told you everything already?" Mom asked.

"Yes mom, I did. After calling 20 times!" Emma cut in.

"That's what you get when you call during school hours!" I snapped. "Never mind all that. Mom, tell me, why and what happened?!"

"Your dad and I fought ever since you came back for dinner that time. I do not know why he wants to lock you away from your past, and because of that we argued. Your dad hasn't been returning home these past few days. Even if he did, we fought. I didn't want Emma to face all this, so I, well, both of us suggested a divorce. He immediately said that he didn't want any of you any more. Which was good, I didn't want you and Emma to be involved that badly. So, Emma and Jack, both of you will be under me when this divorce is done." Mom explained.

I just sat there, speechless. Emma had the exact same reaction, guess she didn't know about it too. "So.... We will be with you, mom?" Emma broke the silence.

"Yes Emma." Mom replied.

"YES!" Emma cheered. "Thank goodness it isn't dad."

"Well..... I guess there's some good that came out from that?" I scratched the back of my head. "When are you going to divorce? Is it even confirmed?"

"Yes, your dad said the sooner the better. Urgh, that man!" Mom replied.

"But mom, what will happen to dad's company?" Emma asked.

"I guess he'll be managing it himself then." Mom said to her.

"But all this time you have been helping him." I stated.

"Well he can always get another person to help him!" Emma argued.

I heard the sound of a car engine. I peeped through the window with Emma and saw it was dad. "Looks like dad's coming home today." Emma muttered.

"Oh no, he's gonna be in a bad mood again. Quick Jack, run! Go back to your college! If he sees you, things are gonna get worse." Mom ordered.

"But, I can't just leave you two!" I protested.

"No time! Go, go, through your room balcony or something! You have powers for a reason, so use it to get out of here!" Emma pushed me up the stairs.

"Well ok, but keep in touch and tell me everything, ok?" I quickly said and ran up the stairs. I hurriedly went to my room balcony and created some ice to lift me into the air. I landed safely and got into my car, I then drove off.
