Jack's POV

Remember when I said I was nervous? Screw that, I think I'm gonna have a mental breakdown.

I never took out a girl on a date. Maybe I did in the past, but ever since that accident I never took a girl on a date. For your information, I didn't even take Tina out on a date.

Elsa is special. I don't want to ruin my chance with her. I have to make this the perfect date of all times. Hiccup and Eugene already gave me some tips, but I decided to do it my own way. The complicated thing is that I have to make it look like a date and ask Elsa to be my girlfriend. I only told Elsa that we are going out, but not on a date.

I already covered the asking to be my girlfriend problem. Last night I dreamt of me bowing down on the knees and handing Elsa a bouquet of ice flowers. Which I'm quite sure this is from my past. Every now and then I would dream of stuff that are actually from my past. So that's settled, I'm recreating the day I asked Elsa to be my girlfriend.

I'm thinking of bringing Elsa out for dinner. Maybe one of those fancy restaurants? There is one quite nearby the school. It's only about 5 minutes to walk there. I decided to bring Elsa there. With my plans set, I went to choose an outfit.

*Time skip*

"Hey Elsa!" I said. "Are you ready?"

"Oh Jack! Of course I am. Where are we going?" Elsa asked. She was wearing just a simple tee shirt and jeans, but she still looked as beautiful as ever.

"I'm bringing you out to dinner, of course!" I smiled.

We both walked side by side to outside. During the walk, I would try to hold Elsa's hand but she always seemed to have really accurate timing. Every time I was just about to stretch out my hand, her hand would totally be somewhere else. "Can I hold your hand?" I asked awkwardly after numerous times of trying.

"Sure, why?" Elsa turned to me.

"Just a friendly gesture." I shrugged as I held Elsa's hand. Now we look more like a couple, although I haven't exactly asked Elsa yet.

We finally arrived at the restaurant. It wasn't exactly a very fancy restaurant, just a little fancy but like a normal restaurant. Was that confusing?

"Dinner's on me." I reminded Elsa.

"Oh come on...." Elsa rolled her eyes.

"I insist!" I said firmly.

We walked into the restaurant and sat down. After ordering, I couldn't help but staring at Elsa. Her crystal blue eyes were so beautiful. Her face, her hair, her freckles, her smile, it's all just so beautiful. "Jack?" Elsa snapped her fingers right in front of me that gave me a shock.

I quickly diverted my attention. "Yes?" I asked.

"You've been staring into nothing?" Elsa replied.

At this moment, our food arrived. I hurriedly stuffed my mouth with food. I was so nervous that I couldn't say anything to Elsa. I can't help with staring at her! I glanced at Elsa, eating slowly, full with manners.

"I-Is it good?" I asked nervously.

"Yes, it is. How about yours?" Elsa looked up.

"Oh, it's really yummy!" I smiled. Come on Jack, you can do this. You can ask Elsa out, and you can definitely ask Elsa to be your girlfriend. When are you gonna ask her?! I looked back down, with my mind in a full swing. The voice in my head keeps saying, go on, go on, ask her!

By the time we finished our food and paid up, I still haven't ask Elsa! How nervous am I?! It's just a question, right? Yeah, I am so gonna have a mental breakdown. I held Elsa's hand again, debating in my mind when to ask her.

Ok, this is it, I'm asking her. Remember everything, Jack! The flowers, the gestures, the question, everything! I cleared my throat and filled myself with confidence.

"Elsa?" I turned to Elsa. "May I ask you a question?" I asked and Elsa nodded. We walked to a nearby bench and Elsa sat down. I stood in front of her, creating a bouquet of flowers made of ice with my powers and went down on my knees. "Elsa, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked confidently.

Elsa looked at me weirdly, she was speechless. After I asked the question, fear quickly surrounded me. What if she rejects?! What if she does something unexpected?!

Elsa held the bouquet of flowers. "Of course I will!" She replied with a wide smile. I was so happy that I got up and hugged her tight and even carried her up. I kissed her on the cheek, making both of us blush.

"This is really beautiful!" Elsa said as she looked at the flowers. "This looks exactly like the one back then."

"Elsa, as my new girlfriend...." I smiled at her. "Will you enjoy this night with me?"

"Gladly." Elsa said as she held my hand.

We then walked off, arm in arm. I felt I was the luckiest man on Earth.
