Chapter 23: Get the plan done
Anna's POV
"Hurry hurry hurry!" I called out to the rest. "We got a birthday to do!"
Punzie, Eugene, Hiccup and Merida came running. Hiccup was already panting, gasping for breath. Eugene nearly tripped, he didn't fall, but all his books did. Us girls just started to burst out laughing.
"So, what do we need to do?" Merida asked. I led them to my room and showed them the box full of the decorations for Jack and Elsa's birthday. "We have the decorations," I started as I pointed to my table. "The presents, everything that we need for our plan tomorrow!"
"Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you, Jack is starting to go crazy without his locket." Punzie stated. "That day back in school he was insanely taking about his missing locket."
"Don't worry, he'll get a fine surprise tomorrow!" I squealed.
"Elsa too!" Merida added.
Eugene spread his arms right in front of us and looked. I raised a brow as I looked at Eugene. Punzie gave Eugene the 'what' face. Just before he was about to speak, we heard knocks on the door. I expected it to be Kristoff and hurriedly ran to the door.
"Hey princess!" Kristoff said as I opened the door. I blushed a little as I led him in.
"Kristoff! You're here!" Hiccup greeted.
We all went back to my room and started to discuss about our plan. "So, when are we gonna go to the bakery?" Merida asked. "You know, for the cake?"
"Soon." I smiled. I grabbed some scissors, tape, glue, some glitter and handed all these to the rest.
Kristoff looked at the stationary then to me."Anna, I don't exactly see what we have to do. You can do this all buy yourself, right?" Kristoff asked.
"What?! I'll be tired to death!" I chuckled.
Kristoff slammed his hand to his face and groaned. "Or is it that you have forgotten that you have telekinesis?!" He said.
"Hey yeah, that is a great idea! We don't have to do anything at all because Anna now has her special talent!" Eugene giggled.
I looked around in amazement. I laughed nervously. Dumb Anna, how could you forget that you have telekinesis?! There is SO MUCH one can do with the power of telekinesis. I smiled awkwardly at the rest as I placed back the items on my table just by thinking about it. All the stuff flew out of our hands and went to the table.
"Don't worry, with your telekinesis, the decorations can be done in less that five minutes!" Punzie cheered.
"Let's go to the bakery then!" Hiccup said.
"Chocolate!" I said happily.
*Time skip*
"Look at all these cakes!" Kristoff said as he started to drool.
Punzie pulled out her phone and showed us a picture of the birthday cake. It was full of chocolate, chocolate icing, chocolate toppings, chocolate chips, you name it! On it had the words, Happy Birthday to Jack and Elsa. I wondered if we could get those words on this cake as well?
"Come on, let's find the perfect cake!" I ordered. Everyone split up as we looked around. This was one of the best bakeries in town, you wouldn't wanna miss it. "Our objective is chocolate, right?" Kristoff asked and I nodded.
There were so many cakes to choose from. Finally we came to one section where only chocolate cakes were sold. "Guys, here!" I called out. The rest came running.
"This one!" Punzie pointed to a chocolate brownie cake.
"No, this one!" Eugene pointed to a black forest cake.
"This!" Merida pointed to a cake full of yummy chocolate icing.
"How about this?" Hiccup pointed to a molten chocolate cake.
"This looks great!" Kristoff pointed to a chocolate rose cake.
"Oh wow, look at this!" I excitedly pointed to a rich chocolate mousse cake.
There was a moment of silence as we looked at each other and grinned. I admired each and every cake that we pointed out. "There are so many of them, how are we gonna choose?!" Eugene asked out loud.
"How can I help you?" A voice asked, revealing it to be a worker.
"Uh..." I giggled. "Can you tell me which one of these chocolate cakes are your bests?"
"Anything like chef's recommendation?" Kristoff asked.
"This ain't a restaurant." I heard Hiccup whisper.
"Well, our best chocolate cake is this." He pointed to the chocolate mousse cake. Yes! I yelled in my mind. Looks like I pointed out the right one!
Someone called the worker away and we were left alone to see the cake. "Shall we take this cake?" Hiccup asked.
"Yes." Everyone said in unison.
"Oh wait, I wonder if we can get them to write the words on the cake?" Punzie asked.
"Not a problem, let's go ask." Eugene walked towards the cashier.
We all split the bill and paid for the cake. I safely placed it in the refrigerator. "Now that's done!" I cheered.
"I think that's all we need to do, Anna." Merida said. "You can use your telekinesis to do the decorations!"
"Get the presents!" Hiccup added.
I levitated the gifts, all wrapped like before. "We are ready!" I cheered.
"Oh yes we are!" Punzie squealed.
"So, tell me, what else have you told Jack and Elsa?" I asked.
"Well, we found out about Elsa's 'boyfriend', Jason. Or should I say, Pitch?" Eugene replied.
I stood there in shock, totally forgetting about the stuff I was levitating. It all came crashing down and landed on our feet. "Ouch!" Kristoff rubbed his foot as the skates landed on him.
"Sorry! Sorry!" I repeated as I moved the presents back to my room. I quickly invited the rest to sit down. "What do you mean, Pitch?!" I asked in confusion.
"Elsa was dating Pitch, which is also known as Jason. Jason is Pitch and Pitch is Jason, does that sound confusing?" Punzie stated.
"Oh man, so, are they still together then?" I asked.
"Nope." Hiccup smiled.
"Anything else you said?" I said as I grabbed a pillow.
"It's a long story...." Merida replied.
