Enid's POV

After about five minutes of walking, we return to Alexandria. I look up at Carl, and he glances down at me. "Hey Carl? Are you okay?.." I stop walking. He and I lock eyes. "I-I'm fine... W-Why...?" His eyes fill with concern. "Enid Hurry up. Jeez." Gabe says. I turn to him. "Just go inside. I'll be there in a minute." I return my gaze to Carl. "Are you okay?" I start to become more concerned about him. "T-there's nothing wrong, E-Enid."  He says stuttering a little. Which, if I'm honest, it was really cute. God damn it! Am I falling for... Carl...? I hear a man scream, and I know Carl hears it to, because his head shoots to the gates. "help please!" A young man, around our age bangs on the gate. He has light—almost white—blonde hair, and emerald green eyes. I open the gate, there are ten or twenty walkers chasing him, so I quickly close the gate. "Are you bit? Scratched? Anything?" I demand. "N-No.. thanks for your help." He smiles at me. "What's your name kid." I cross my arms. "Travis. My name's Travis." He looks over at Carl. I uncross my arms, and rudely say "I'm Enid, this is Carl."
"It's nice to meet you." He hesitantly says. Carl looks down at me. "Go easy on the kid, Enid. Don't be so cold." He smiles, and I gently grasp Carl's hand.
