Max sat on one side of a desk and Robert on the other, Hills just stood at the back, reading over a news paper, not paying any attention to the two.                                               Strange
Max handed a folder labelled- 'The ^ case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. ' to Robert and he took it, looking at the title and furrowing his eyebrows.

"In there is a will, written by Dr Henry Jekyll, who we suspect to be your grandfather," Max started. "He one day came in and changed it completely, wanting to leave everything of his to a man named Edward Hyde." He explained

"Well, what's this got to do with me?" Jekyll questioned, not seeing how an Edward Hyde had anything to do with him.
"Well, sooner or later, Edward died, but we found out he had a son, named Louis, but he was no where to be seen, we thought that his mother had run away with him, so Henry's house was left to no one..." Max looked at him, trying to see if Robert knew anything, but he just shook his head.
"I still don't understand what this has got to do with me..." He muttered, staring at the folder and leaning back in his chair.
"Well, this is where you come in, my father used to work here and he was in the middle of burning files, but he died before he could finish destroying all of them... I of course took over his job and I found an old newspaper article, with Dr Vishal Narjaran's name on it, your adoptive father." He said and handed over the article, and Robert read over it.
It said how Louis Hyde had been in the care of the doctor in the middle of a war, and then Louis had killed someone and just disappeared.
"Dr Narjaran knew Louis Hyde..." Max said softly. "Do you know anything about your father Robert?" He asked and raised an eyebrow.
"Well... My father gave me a jacket, which apparently belonged to my real father." He stood up from his seat and picked up the large black jacket that had the initials LH engraved on the inside of it. Max instantly noticed the golden letters and pointed them out.
"LH! For Louis Hyde! He was your father after all!" Max seemed rather excited now they had found this out, but Jekyll on the other hand wasn't too pleased.
"No, Max, I'm sorry, I don't want anything to do with this, I just..." He couldn't think of the words to finish his sentence, "I can't just claim this house as mine, it wasn't even left in my name..." He rubbed over his chin and paced around the room.
"Oh but Robert, I don't think you know what you're loosing if it don't take this house..." Max claimed and stood up from his chair. Hills also stood up, and Jekyll jumped a bit when he saw her move, completely forgetting she was there.
"This will be a new exciting adventure Robert! You can find out more about your real family!" Hills grinned and clapped her hands in excitement. Jekyll couldn't lie, he did want to find out more about his family history, by the truth was, he didn't know if he was ready for it."Let's go see the estate shall we?" Mr Utterson grinned, "that sounds like a great idea!" Hills added in, speaking in her usual high pitched, posh voice. Robert simply nodded, not wanting to seem rude by refusing and off they went to see the old, giant house.

Sorry it took me so long to update, I've been really busy with school and stuff, but i hope you enjoy this chapter, it's a little boring but the next one will be more exciting :) and this is quite short too so sorry about that as well
