Read the first chapter first

I shall now apologise of the lack of motivation I've had, forcing you all to wait for another chapter. But instead I'm just gonna say, I warned you.

When Regulus' death was announced, James felt like his world fell apart. And it did. His world did fall apart, because Regulus was his world. He felt miserable, because he felt like he could've stopped him. If only he would have realized Regulus was in pain. And if only he would have gone after Regulus that day in the library, he could've stopped Regulus. But he didn't. He didn't, because he just thought Regulus wanted time.

Regulus didn't want time. He wanted help. But all he was given was time. Time to ruin his life. Time to learn to hide his pain. Enough time to make him weak and tired. Yeah, time can heal a lot of wounds, but it also has a habit of opening a lot of new ones.

Sirius blamed himself, hoping he would've never ever done that to Regulus. It wasn't Sirius' fault as Regulus was already broken. Regulus was going to jump, even if Sirius hadn't screamed at him. But Sirius didn't believe it. "It's my fault" he kept repeating to anyone who even talked to him. James didn't hate Sirius, but he didn't hang out with him much. Really, only Remus hung out with Sirius, because he knew. He knew Sirius could break any second and follow in his brother's foot steps. But Sirius was Remus' boyfriend, so Remus wasn't going to let him go.

Evan and Barty felt guilty for not being able to do enough to stop Regulus. They had tried. They had tried so very many times. But at the end, if the person is as broken as Regulus was, there's nothing for them to do. It wasn't their fault either.

Lily and the other three girls didn't cry, but they sure did feel miserable and did their best to comfort others.

The outcome was that everyone blamed themselves. The thing is though, it was no one's fault. They shouldn't even be thinking who's fault it was, as it didn't matter anymore.

Regulus was already dead, and that couldn't be changed with any type of magic.
