James' P.O.V

One day I felt my water broke and Thomas drove me to the hospital. When he came into my room he looks so tired and stressed out. It was amusing to me after I gave birth to a baby girl.

She was perfect, the moment I saw her, I knew she was. She looked just like Thomas and had my eyes, she was beautiful. As Thomas walked in I saw a spark in his eyes like the day I became his boyfriend. They're both adorable.

I let him hold her and his smile widened then he commented, "She's so tiny." He said with an adoring gaze towards her.

"What are we gonna name her?"

"May!" He said

Love was filled in the room, I felt it.

He stayed with us over night until we were allowed to take her out the hospital which was a week because sadly May had a weak immune system....poor thing

But when we got her home we gave her a tiny purple face mask, she didn't seem to mind it thankfully but it was to keep her from catching anything.

99.9% of the time I was holding her while Thomas was being his little protective self and making me sit on his lap while holding the baby. It wasn't as dangerous as it would be with normal couples.

But considering how small I was compared to him it was fine especially because he was practically holding me as I was holding May.

She meant so much to Thomas that whenever May would cry he'd buy her a new stuffed animal and he gives her a bottle and makes sure that everything is perfect.

Like ;

I'll give her a bottle and he tells me, "She likes her milk at a temperature of exactly 91.3 degrees."

Or

"Wait she likes to take naps at 4:00 pm."

It was nice that he cared about her but really, who gave birth to her and who is breast feeding her, exactly! I was breast feeding her...I don't know how to control the temperature of my milk.

But it was funny though when he goofed up or got something wrong, like changing her diaper, he accidentally wrapped her head instead...

Parenting 101 everyone.

Since May is her father's daughter she found this very funny

She started giggling and said her first words

"Daddy Silly."

It was cute but after the second time of changing her he had it down and has never made that mistake again.

I just love my family so much and they love me to.

I hugged Thomas and I kissed May's forehead

Then I said, "I love you guys you're the best things to ever happen to me."

"We love you to Mommy!" May said

Then we all embraced each other in our new family
