"Thomas, just get your ass over there and speak to him," Maria said sipping her margarita as she looked at him with a tired look.

"Maria, I can't. I barely can talk to anyone but you and the waiter," he said looking at the table were James Madison and Aaron Burr were talking happily.

She looked at James groaning. "Why is so hard for you to just walk to him? Why has James that makes him soooo 'perfect'?" She asked already knowing the answer.

Thomas smiled and sighed leaning on his hand ready to start his speech about why James was the most handsome, smart and wonderful man on Earth. 

Maria just pretended she was listening as she chatted with Aaron about their plan they've been planning for a couple of weeks. The plan was to pull both to the same bar, have some fun, then pretend they were drunk, but since Aaron and James came on a Uber, make them give them a ride to their homes, and then left both alone in the car.

And everything was going great.

Aaron pretended he had drunk five beers and two vodkas by far. Maria started with a double whiskey, a few glasses of wine and now a margarita. Thomas only had a beer and was quite amazed by the amount of alcohol she consumed, but didn't ask anything since he was quite concerned why James was there since he once mentioned he didn't like those places a lot.

Then Aaron sent her a message saying it was time for the show. Maria smiled and pulled Thomas to the dance floor. "Tommy! I wanna dance!" she said as poor Thomas was being dragged to the dance floor by the wrist. 

He wasn't a bad dancer like his friend Lafayette but he was kinda shy at first. She started to dance gracefully, he trying to match her moves, slowly getting more and more confidence.

James looked at him with a soft blush on his cheek as he saw Thomas dancing beautifully along Maria. He wished he could dance like that so he could join him for a song or two. 

Aaron smiled as he "finished" his drink and waited for the alcohol to "kick" in his system. 

Maria pretended she was drunkenly dancing, now Thomas watching for her since they gained quite a lot of attention and she was drunk, or so he thought. After tripping and almost falling in someone else's arms, Thomas decided it was time to go. 

"Let's go, Maria, I'll drop you home," he said smiling at her trying to keep the other guys away from him. That's when Maria turned around and looked at Aaron, who seemed drunk making the signal to her. 

Showtime.

Maria scaped Thomas' arms and walked to Aaron and James' table. "Aaron!" She said hugging him smiling. Thomas walked to their table a little embarrassed for his friend's aptitude.

"Jemmy!" She said going to kiss his cheek. She smiled and looked at hugged him tightly.

"Hiiii... Maria... Uh... Do you feel good?" James asked.

"I feel wonderful! Just a little tipsy..." She said slurring the "y".

"She's drunk. I was going to take her home." Thomas apologized to them trying to reach for Maria, but now she was gone again, so as Aaron.

After panicking of losing their friends for thirty minutes, they found them "sleeping" in one booth. James slowly wakes them up and looked at Thomas. "What do we do?" 

"You call Theodosia and ask her if she can let Maria sleep at their house tonight, I don't think she'll make it to hers since Eliza is out of town," Thomas said as he lifted Aaron to help him get out of the stool as James helped Maria since she was lighter than Aaron.

After getting an "It'll be alright, thanks to taking care of them" message, they put them in the backseat as Thomas drove to Aaron and Theodosia's apartment. 

James started a small conversation during the journey, being quite shy about it. Thomas was also quite shy about it. Maria and Aaron were dying a little in the inside as they heard them, Maria was about to just make them kiss when they were stopped in red light but Aaron stopped her.

Once they arrived, Theo was waiting for them outside playing with the border of her dressing grown. After putting both in the couch they apologized for not being able to stop them but she only said that it wasn't a problem. 

They both left to James' place to hang out a little, saying that they'll be back tomorrow to have a little conversation with Maria and Aaron about drinking. She smiled at them and wished them to have a good time.

As the two left, Theo walked back to her home to find Aaron and Maria watching some cartoons. She looked confused. 

"Weren't you two sleeping a few minutes ago?" She asked.

"Nah, we were just messing around. What did they tell you? Did they have any plans after dropping us here?" Maria asked as Aaron walked to her and kissed her cheek. 

"They were going to James' house. Why do you ask?" She said noticing that Aaron was still smelling like his cologne. 

Maria and Aaron smirked. "We've been trying to put those two together for weeks. The plan worked as we thought," he said sighing in relief. 

//I know I haven't published in the right day, but fuck it. I haven't slept straight in 3 months, so my brain is just bleh.
