This seems to be the fate of Jefflyn because Katelyn seems to likes Travis more. O^O

IDK what time this would be set to make Katelyn and Travis make sense but also have the situation "calm" considering the Emerald Secrets thing. Plus Travis has been a bit weird and knows something is wrong with Aaron.

 "Please Katelyn, I know when you're hiding something from me!" Jeffory laughed, talking to Katelyn on the phone.

"Ugh, fine!" Katelyn replied, sounding annoyed, but Jeffory couldn't be sure. They were talking on the phone. "Travis and I are dating." She said, sounding reluctant.

"Whoa! Really?" Jeffory replied in surprise. Katelyn and Travis's relationship was close, although quite confusing.

"Yeah..." Katelyn replied. 

"Wow, congrats Katelyn!" Jeffory said. Although he was truly happy for his best friend, he couldn't lie that he had small feelings for the bluenette.

"Thanks," Katelyn replied. "Where have you been? You should really visit us you know." Katelyn added.

"Oh you know. Travelling a bit to find a good place to stay with Abby and be able to manage my job properly. And I would love to visit, but maybe later. I'm truly sorry, Katelyn!" Jeffory replied.

"It's okay Jeffory. If you're wondering where you'd stay, you can always room with me and Kawaii~Chan. We are best friends after all. Plus Abby would be very happy." Katelyn said.

"Oh, you know just how to convince me to do things. Fine, I'll come in a few months." Jeffory laughed. 

Whenever it came to Abby, Jeffory would do almost anything for her. As long as Abby was happy, he was too.

"I really do, don't I?" Katelyn snorted.

"Wait, although I have a daughter, wouldn't it be weird if I was rooming with girls. I also wouldn't want to make Travis or anyone interested in Kawaii~Chan mad. I have no problem with it, but you know, other people." Jeffory said, thinking about how generally people thought about things like this.

"Honestly, no-one would care that much. There's Sasha who rooms with Gene and Zenix, and no-one mentions it. If anyone mentions it rudely, I'll personally deal with them." Katelyn replied. Jeffory bet she was cracking her fingers at the thought of it.

"Sounds like you." Jeffory grinned. 

Abby came running into the room, waving her now finished homework.

"Who are you talking to, daddy?" Abby whispered.

"Oh, I'm talking to your Aunty Katelyn." Jeffory replied, still grinning.

"Aunty Katelyn!" Abby jumped around happily at the thought of Katelyn. "Can I talk to Aunty Katelyn, Daddy?" Abby asked, with begging eyes.

"Let me ask," Jeffory smiled. "Hey Katelyn, Abby wants to talk to you, is that okay?" Jeffory asked.

"Definitely! I've missed talking to her!" Katelyn replied, sounding more excited.

"Here you go Abby." Jeffory says, handing Abby the phone.

"Yay!" Abby jumps excitedly.

She starts walking out the room. Jeffory was about to follow her, but she protested.

"Sorry Daddy, but Aunty Katelyn and I have private talks! If she says it's okay, than I'll tell you!" Abby said, but she was giggling.

Jeffory grinned widely, laughing.

"Okay Abby, but don't play any games while talking to Aunty Katelyn." He laughed.

Abby nodded, yelling an 'okay' before dashing out the room.

Jeffory sighed, leaning against his chair. 

Now he had to think about the fact Katelyn and him could never be a thing ever again.

He remembered his high school relationship with her, but pushed it away.

Although they were good memories [Katelyn would agree] the past was the past, and now, Katelyn found a man who deserved her. Jeffory knew a little bit about Travis, and he was knew, Travis was a great guy.

Katelyn had her own life and feelings, and Jeffory would always respect that.

It was her life, and Jeffory wouldn't have liked it if someone was telling him, directly or indirectly, to stop dating someone just for their own selfish desires.

So why would she? In fact, Katelyn would have been even angrier than he ever could be. 

If Katelyn was happy, he was too.
