When we got back Masky was still unconscious. EJ took him up to his room to patch him up. I kind of felt bad because I was Liu's intended target. Jeff walked past me heading up to his room. I decided to follow him there, I have a couple of questions for him. " Hey Jeff can I come in?" "Yeah sure" he mumbled before sitting on his bed. I closed the door behind me and sat down next to him. "Jeff I have a question. Why does Liu hate you so much. You two are brothers after all." Jeff looked the other way and said "You should know you've seen what happened in your dreams." then he glanced at me and said "Nightmares." I looked away and said "I know but I think its time for this grudge to end. I'm tired of being the one who he wants to kill just to hurt you." Tears started to form in my eyes and I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist. Jeff put his head on my shoulders and said "Don't worry I plan on ending it soon." Before I could say anything else Jeff laid me on the bed beside him before pulling me close. Not long after he fell asleep leaving me staring at the wall next to us wondering when this will be all over.

*Time Skip*

I woke up the next morning wondering when did I fall asleep. I got out of the bed and stretched a little before turning around to see a empty bed. I guess he went outside to train or went ahead to eat breakfast. I went to my room and grabbed some clothes to take a bath. I ran the hot water until the tub was filled and stepped inside. The water felt amazing on my skin. All the stress I had building up was temporarily released. Then an image of Masky flashed in my mind. I felt kind of bad about what happened. I guess I can visit him after I get out the bathtub to see how he is doing. But this water feels just too amazing.

*Time Skip*

After I got out of the bath and got dressed I went to EJ's room to check on Masky. When I reached his door EJ was walking out of the room. "Hey EJ is Masky doing okay today?" "Yea he's doing much better. He woke up for a little while but went right back to sleep. I say give him a couple of hours to rest and then come visit him. He should be fine by then. Our bodies heal pretty quickly" "Yea I guess your right" I said looking down. "Hey y/n are you okay?" "Yea I guess I just feel kind of bad since I was Liu's target and Masky got hurt instead of me." EJ put an arm on my shoulder and said "Don't worry about it to much y/n. Liu has been a threat to this house long before you got here, so this is nothing new to us. Just keep training to get stronger so we all can beat him." I looked at EJ and gave him a smile showing that I  understood what he said. Before leaving I gave him a quick hug then ran off to find where Jeff is hiding.
