Chapter 9: The Outsider
Here it is. I'm so sorry it took so long. We went somewhere without WiFi and I survived haha. I'm writing in my phone, sorry for misspellings here. Any who, let's do this!

"No one will never get hurt ever again and to that I swear. And I promise no outsider would ever trick us, but I have another promise to keep." ~Jeff the Killer

The foot had stepped on a branch and it cracked loudly as it broke. The man didn't even care as he continued sprinting, hoping nothing bad was happening. He didn't know where he was going, really, and he was just following Smile Dog's sense of smell. He had been grateful for the Dog's sharp sense of smell, but they've been running for 30 minutes and they sill haven't seen any sign of Savannah. As much as Jeff is grateful, he's already complaining.
Smile abruptly stopped, making Jef halt in a sudden movement as his feet screeched on he pavement. His eyes had travelled up, scanning the house before them and he kbew Slenderman was just near them. Grinning in a mischief, his eyes had gone dark red, ready to do something. Business would fit that line.
"I found him." His spoke in his head.
Ignoring the horrified yet confused stares by the passing strangers and people. As much as he hated being out in public, he had his hood on him. The only thing he was worried about was the red blood stains on his jacket, he hoped the bystanders were just thinking it was style. Chuckling from the thought, he stepped on the front porch, dashing in before anyone could even process who is he. As Smile was about to bark, Jeff quickly shushed him.
"Savannah?"
---------------
Ears perked up as she heard her name being called by a familiar voice. Her ears twitched again as soon as she heard another call of her name. Sitting up slowly, as to not awaken the man beside her, she quickly slipped out of the man's embrace. Legs, along with her body, stretched like a cat easily, as she yawned quietly, tears on the brim of her eyes. She stands up, walking towards the door, taking her time to do so.
While gently slapping herself with her hand on her cheek, she reaches for the knob of the door, twisting it and creaking it open as she slyly walks out. Quickly reaching the end of the stairs, her eyes widened, already awaken as she saw Jeff in front of her. Those feet of hers tried not to move, but as if an instinct, Savannah dashed for Theo, not even bothering to listen to the shouts of a worried Jeff--wait, worried?
Turning her head slightly, she saw Jeff reaching out to her, chasing her. She didn't know what she was doing, or, to be exact, she doesn't know what her feet did but it stopped and waited for Jeff to catch up, along with Smile. Jeff smiled and stopped in front of her, making her slightly anxious and nervous on what would Jeff would say, or do.
"He's not...who he seems to be.."
The scrunch of her nose and a snort coming along with furrowed eyebrows and a confused frown gave her away. Jeff even frowned more, like it was terrible or something. But Jeff knew Savannah didn't even know what he was saying. His tongue licked his dry lips and gulped, his throat now the one dry. He's worried about what could happen if he would say it. But of course, that was already decided, he would and he could do it.
Breathing heavily, he sighs. "Theo's a traitor. He's with the hunters. He even befriended you to know what we will plan! And maybe, he was planning on making you fall in love with him! But I'm pretty sure he planned on hitting you with his car that night!"
Savannah didn't know whether to believe her friend or not. The thought of the man upstairs, who was sleeping and resting, to even betray them, her, his kind. Maybe the Cupid wasn't really for lovers, for the arrow really hit her heart. It was too much to take in, really. She doesn't know why it was too much for her, after all, she just met the man two days ago. Gulping, she nods her head, believing him, because she knew, Jeff's more trustworthy than Theo.
Fishing out his knife, he grins. "Kill him?" To be truthful, he kind of knew what the girl would say, it was obvious she already had taken a liking on the boy. But neither of that feeling or Theo being like her kind will stop him from taking revenge on the guy. Killing would be the appropriate word, he thinks with a big grin.
"No, we'll get out of here--"
"No." Jeff growls. Savannah sighed, her tails and ears are already lowered yet the man in front of him didn't even took notice since he was too focused on killing Theo. But as much as Savannah was hurt and even wanted to kill the guy herself, she couldn't, she knew that. Sighing yet again, she still shook her head and always blocked Jeff's way, making him annoyed but defeated on what the girl was thinking.
"Fine, but no outsider will be spared," Savannah gave him a look. "For now." Jeff added quickly.
Walking up the stairs quietly and sneakily, she left a note beside Theo, frowning. Jeff saw it and quickly went downstairs as he saw Savannah heading downstairs with another frown. Nodding her head towards the killer, the both headed out at the back of the house. As soon as they were out of the house and a little far away already, both Smile and Savannah's ears perked up, hearing a bang and a "Savannah?!"
But they just continued running.
~~~~~~~~
Theo's eyes widened to be awaken with a door of his house slamming close. He quickly stood up to see Savannah out of his embrace and there was to replace a note. Snatching it and reading it quickly, his jaw dropped.
It said;
"Disappointment is an understatement for me, but sadness is the real thing. I hate this, Theo. And when I thought I was the only one and then you came and there was hope, but...you ruined it. Jeff came here and told me everything. We treated you as a friend, but now, you're nothing but an outsider, so 'keep out' or else we have no choice to kill you, Theo."
He knew that handwriting, of course, and it was quite obvious. Crumpling the paper in his hands, he threw it on the floor angrily and fell on the floor. Quickly rushing to his feet, he went downstairs, in a hurry and in the process, he fell down at the end of the stairs. Ignoring the pain on his side and head, he looked around, frantically looking for Savannah.
"Savannah?!"
There was no answer but silence. Tears filled his vision as he sat down on the wall, clutching his hair in frustration. There was no one inside his house, no one but him. Screaming in regret, he bumped his head on the wall, wishing he should've just backed out on the plan.
There was ring that silenced his screams.
He looked for his phone, just to see it in his room, answering it, he hoped it was someone certain he had to say sorry to. But he knew that was impossible, the girl didn't even have any cellphone with her, nor did she even had interest in them. Sighing, he heard his boss's voice and he ignored every word of it, but as soon as he heard the word 'destroy' and 'kill' he wasn't shocked, he just knew he needed to help, in any way he can.
"I'm done." There was a 'what?' Before he hung up and he felt great of himself, though somehow still disappointed.
Turning into a cat, he followed suit to the direction where they went and he knew where they were headed. Surely the knew of where ________ was being held, the hospital would be good since she had a seizure. But he's not so sure if they really knew. Sprinting as fast as he can, he headed for the woods.
------------
Smile barked at the back of them and Slenderman appeared. Jeff and Savannah was relieved it was only him. But both Smile and Slenderman knew it wasn't him that Smile was barking at, since Smile was already familiar with him. As soon as Slenderman appeared though, he ordered them to run as fast as they can. And they did, but Savannah hesitated. Unexpectedly, Savannah turned into her cat form and ran alongside Jeff and Smile.
Theo stopped as soon as he saw the tall figure shadowing him.
Turning back into his human form, he was still looking down on his feet, ashamed and guilty. Regretful even. Slenderman glared at him, knowing this would happen but didn't expect it to be sooner so it was really unexpected. Looking up slightly, Theo frowned but had the courage to speak as he say, "Look, I'm really sorry--"
"Do you think sorry would fix all of these?" Slenderman's voice was calm but disappointed. He didn't shout like anybody else would. Maybe Savannah would've shouted at him if he was awake the time Jeff was in the house.
But, Theo knew that line all too well.
"No, but I can fix--"
"Last time I checked, things came out worst."
Theo gulped, knowing what he was talking about. But he didn't want to talk about it now, there were more things far more important than the topic they were going ahead to. He was really sorry, guilty, regretful and ashamed, but he just hoped he can help. In any little way he can. But he knew, they wouldn't even let them lay a finger on them. As far as they speak.
"Don't even think we'll ever forget this nor forgive you, Theo," And Slenderman disappeared right before him. Yes, he knew that. He knew all the things they would and would not do. But he wanted to help. So he'll get help himself. He'll prove nothing, he'll just fix it, nothing and that's all, he'll stay away from them, ever.
After all, he is an Outsider.
-------------
"Theo said he's done, what the fuck does that mean?"
His eyes flickered to his wife's and he put away his cigarette, pushing it on the wood as he got up. He walked towards her and looked at the sky as it was growing red. He grinned menacingly as his dark eyes narrowed back to his wife's, his whisper echoing,
"He's done."
He laughed, and it rang.
It rang
And rang
Until he smashed his wife's cellphone, shaking his head. "He has fallen in love with them." He laughed again. Looking back at the hospital, his eyes squinted and he scurried in the hospital, leaving his wife all alone on the street, letting her process what will happen.
"They are now ready." The wife whispered in frustration.
Her husband looked back, smirking. "To die."
They both grinned and took a girl out of the hospital and driving home quickly. They knew the Creepypastas wanted the girl, but the girl was important, important for bounty hunters. As much as they would like to admit it in public, the girl didn't need to know but they'll have to give her to him quickly. They hadn't want trouble but right now, it was so necessary it was a need. And maybe, just maybe, want too.
~~~~~~~~~
Savannah didn't stop while seeing the house in view, the lights were flickering on and off and she hoped that was BRVR playing with it. Or Hoody. Hoody would've been good. But as seeing no one was there, she looked back at Jeff, who didn't have the same confused face. Raising an eyebrow to ask, he just simply shrugged.
Slenderman appeared. "They'll be here in a few."
They waited. They waited, and after five minutes of waiting, there was breaking of windows, the door slamming, and shouts. Slenderman had to quiet them down. Savannah looked at all them, getting overwhelmed by the numbers. They were all here. All the Creepypastas, even the ones who didn't live with them was here.
"I'm really sorry." Savannah spoke without even thinking. All of them looked at her, Jane just smiled reassuringly and said, "You didn't know, it's fine." Everybody shouted the same thing, trying to assure her it was the outsider's fault not hers. But even if it was his fault, it felt like it wasn't. It felt like it was hers. She was desperate on finding ________ (but not as desperate as Jeff), she had to do foolish things without her. Sighing, she gave them a smile, which they cheered about.
Jeff chuckled and grabbed his knife out. "Ready guys?" They all pulled out their weaponries, grinning like the maniacs they were. Jeff was insane, all of them were, but they were sane enough to understand what was happening. Jeff was the first one out of the house as he said the plan.
"I'm going to check the hospital and if she's not there, I want you, Red to hack Theo's cellphone and know where they live--"
A hand shot up. "I know their house--" but Savannah was quickly cut off by Jeff. "No! They've probably changed the location, so we need it, okay, Red? Oh yeah, go with Silver too or BRVR, either of the two. And when we get their location, they're probably thinking of an ambush so they are armed and ready but so we are. Slendy, I need you to teleport inside and get _______, let her scream if she gets scared, it's a distraction for the ones in the house and there we will attack them! got it?"
To be honest, all of them were speechless, they didn't know Jeff could do that. Being the leader thing and shits like that. Slenderman had been surprised too and regretted doubting the kid ever since while being grateful towards the infamous killer. Jeff looked confuse though, with the silence, no one was answering but as Savannah did, all of them followed suit.
"Good." And that was the end of the conversations before they ran towards their positions.
Savannah ran after them, smiling and grinning as the chill of the excitement of saving ______ was almost there and almost successful. If only someone was here though. The thought made her shoulder slumped and her lips point downward. She had frowned. But as soon as there was a tug of her arm in a rough way, she looked back.
"Hey--!"
Her mouth was silenced with a hand firmly on her mouth. She struggled and made noise but neither all of them had even heard. She was dragged in the forest, far away enough that no one will hear her scream. Biting the kidnapper's hand, there was a familiar 'ouch!' from the kidnapper and it made her look back.
Oh.
Speaking of the devil.
Glaring her blue-green eyes on his blue eyes made him not only shiver from the cold air of the night but when she did glare, it was like she was looking in his soul for something. He frowns and gently hugs her, not caring if she struggled quite pathetically. But Savannah stopped in a few moments, and hugging him back, which surprised him the least.
"It's all your fault."
He smiles.
"I know I'm an outsider so shut up, I'll help you guys."
Savannah smiles and nods.
"But you'll always be an outsider, an outlaw, a crime."
He chuckled and nodded back, indulging in the hug and the position they were in. They have a few minutes, so they stayed like that. They were just quiet and the silence was only comforting them, Savannah knew it still wasn't enough. She needed to hurry now. She needed to help them, with the help of Theo.
"I don't think so."
They looked back and saw a man grinning, an axe in hand as he swung it, nearly hitting both of them as they rolled on the ground. Savannah hissed at him and scratched him, making him slightly say 'ouch' but could only grin. The masochistic grin was scary, but it was a mix of sadistic when Savannah's arm got scratched with the axe, a deep wound opening with blood.
She screamed.
All of the Creepypastas looked back, charging into the woods. Jeff was the fastest although Slenderman probably already appeared before them. As he reached them, he saw a man swinging his axe at Theo and Savannah. He snatched Savannah, not even bothering to save Theo as he grins when Theo gets a wound and was unconscious as the man hit him on the head, by his fist.
The man stopped and bowed. "Thank you, idiots." With that, he dragged Theo away from them.
"WHAT THE FUCK--THEO!"
"He's an outsider remember?" Jeff hissed, confused.
Savannah cried, "He's my outsider!"
But he left it as that, jumping away as they get ready for this war. He liked the thought of it, but thinking about it while Savannah was crying was really hard. Looking back, he sighs.
"Look, let's just focus on them and we'll go save him, yeah?"
Savannah looked up, with tear-stained and red eyes. With that she nodded.
"We'll get back Theo--no, the Outsider." Jeff said, stressing on the name, 'Outsider.' Savannah smiled weakly, nodding.
She giggled afterwards, making Jeff confused all suddenly.
"What?"
"Maybe that should be his name when he joins us..." Savannah thought.
Jeff shook his head. "He's an 'out' 'sider' that's why he won't be in the Creepypasta, sheesh, Savannah." Rolling her eyes as she scoffs, she nods.
"Will it end though?"
His eyes narrowed to hers and a thin line on his lips were firmly attached. But he answered a simple, but assure reply.
"Yes."
