"I saw her with my own eyes! She wasn't any hallucination, she was real! SHE IS REAL! I know Jeff will believe me, just you wait!" ~Savannah The Hunter (who is a freakin' cat xD)
~(='∀`)人('∀`=)~
Savannah run as fast as she could handle. She needed to tell them, now. It was urgent. More than anything else. She doesn't care if it's almost the middle of the night and they'll go on their hunting, she doesn't care because this was important.
Her feet and arms felt the ground as the wind hits her face, sweaty and tired. As she keeps up the same fast pace, her feet and arms started to tense but she wasn't giving up. She didn't want to lose _______!
Turning to a corner, a light blinded her vision, and all was white before it turned into darkness.
~TimeSkip~
"..re...ou....wake?"
A voice reckoned but it was always cut off short.
"He...girl....ou...okay?"
Groaning, she turns her head slightly, looking at the darkness. Slowly, but surely, she opens her dark blue-green (I kinda changed it--) eyes as she scanned the room. It was green and all had pictures on it and some quotes which, for now, she didn't care. But that wasn't the first thing she actually noticed.
It was the guy.
The guy sighed in relief, resting his head on his hand.
"I thought you'll never wake up."
Savannah's eyes widened at this. As if an instinct, she jumps away, biting her lip from letting out a hiss to the guy. Sitting up straight, she glares at the man. The man frowned at this and seemed like to rack his brain for something.
"Theo."
Savannah ah tilted her head, confused. But before the man could answer, she nods slowly as if saying that she understood it. "Theo..?" She tried and nodded again. She extends her hand and smiled, her fangs turning to little fangs. "The name's Savannah, nice to meet 'cha!"
Lifting her self up from the bed, she winces and looks at her arms, all bandaged along with her right leg. She was confused. Quickly looking for a mirror, she sees the bathroom and dashed for it, the 'Theo' guy following after her as she dismisses the pain while she ran.
Looking at herself, her eyes widened. Her hair was a mess, her neck fully bandaged, and she was just wearing a sports bra, a bandage around her body. Frowning, she still looks at her appearance on the mirror, her mouth opens, which is one of the body parts that didn't hurt.
"Why do I look like a freaking mummy?"
The guy, namely 'Theo', laughed half-heartedly. "You got into an accident, don't you remember?"
Savannah stops, her mouth closing as the memories flashed back in her mind. She was running so fast she didn't know why, she'd later find that out. Then, she saw a blinding light and pain as the darkness seeped her in. She hummed, as if in daze as she looks at the wounds. It started to heal and she's going to be gone in no time from this 'Theo' guy. But she's glad her wounds were treated or else she would be left for dead on the road and it wouldn't heal fast.
Looking back slightly, she took in the appearance of the man. He's wearing a stethoscope around his neck, a first aid kit on his hand and a formal suit.
She speaks out, "Are you a doctor?"
The man grinned. "Is it not obvious?" She huffed in annoyance and turned back to the mirror. She had to say thank you at least. Mumbling something, she hoped the guy heard it. The man took a moment before his face broke out with a confused frown. She looked at the mirror, her dark-blue green eyes glaring through chocolate ones.
Sighing, she tried for a smile. "Thank you."
The man nodded, quickly looking away. She was confused.
Theo's POV (doing a POV for practice XD)
I blushed, the girl had a really good smile along with the little fangs. The girl named, Savannah, coughed, putting me out of my trance. I smiled, the heat still tinting my cheeks a little bit.
"Yes, Vannah?"
Then, I realized I called her without permission.
"If that is alright with you, Savannah."
She smiles again, nodding. "It is, Theo, thank you." Damn, I think I need to rant about how beautiful she is. I don't know whether to be glad I bumped her or not. But then again, I feel guilty putting those bandages on her body. Sighing, I touched her shoulder which I was glad that she didn't flinched. "Are you alright, does it still hurt? But even so, you need to rest."
She was still looking at her wounds. I didn't know why though. Savannah turns around, smiling yet again. "I am alright thank you but no thank you, I don't need to rest." A frown was upon my lips and my eyebrows furrowed in confusion and disappointment. We both stepped out of the bathroom and as if in cue, her stomach grumbled.
Blushing, she looked at me and I laughed. "I-I don't really need to eat, I can eat outside!" She exclaimed and I quickly stopped her, shaking my head. "No, no! It's not a bother and besides, you're like my patient." Nodding, she bashfully followed me, which I found cute, really.
I led her to my kitchen and her eyes sparkled. She just looked around now, probably mesmerized with my house. I don't know why though, I'm not that rich. Although I am a doctor and gets big payment, I don't spend it on my house. Opening the fridge, I look at it.
"What do you want to eat?"
"Uh...fish, I want fish."
I looked up to her to see her blushing and looking down. I laughed again and closed my fridge, this time opening my freezer. Luckily, there was fishes. I sighed in relief. I grabbed a big one and went to the sink, rinsing it carefully as the cold filled my hands.
"Fried?" I asked Savannah.
Savannah's POV
My ears twitched as Theo rinsed the raw fish. It was a big one and it looked yummy. Then, I heard him ask something. I shrugged although he didn't see me. My tail started wagging slowly but in delight since I'm still seeing the fish. I decided to answer, "Any is fine."
I sat on a chair without a lean-board but that was fine, I spin it with me following and the surroundings too. I laugh because I sound like a child right now. I heard the water stop and I stop spinning too and stopped it exactly to face Theo. He was looking at me with an eyebrow raised.
I tilt my head. "What?"
"Any? Even raw?"
I stopped and nodded slowly, confused as to why he was asking that. He shakes his head and turned around, muttering, "I'm going with fried fish." I shrugged but nodded, continuing myself spinning on the chair. I laugh again like a child and always see Theo sneaking a glance on me, I finally stopped when he looked at me as I caught him.
I bit my lip while smiling a little as the heat rose up on my face.
"I'll call the police."
Theo leans on the counter, grinning. "Why?"
I grin back, "Because you keep on stealing glances on me." (Reference on a Tagalog Movie X3)
He laughs, shaking his head again as he went back to cooking. I smile and rest my head on the counter, watching him cook silently. My tail was wagging faster than before and I hid my face in my hands, crimson red from a while ago. My ears were flattening and twitching a little as I thought:
I just fucking flirted with him. The hell, Savannah?
I bang my head on the counter, annoyed as I groan while frowning. I heard the stove stop and some shuffling. Sneaking a peek, I saw Theo getting a plate with rice on it already. I stop and perk up, I say, "I don't want rice." He looks back and frowned and I pout. After a while of looking like that, he sighed and I knew he was defeated.
"Okay, fine. Are you sure you're already alright with this? You need food to have strength."
I smirk at his statement but nods. "Of course." When he puts the plate in front of me, I tried not to devour it. It looked so delicious! He sits beside me and I give him a quick hug as I ate the fish with bare hands. He didn't do anything but at first he was stunned with my affection but now he was watching me like how I watched him cook this delicious meal.
After a few, I was done eating. He laughs at my eating manners but I could careless, I rub my stomach since I was full. "Thanks for the meal~" He nodded and put it in the sink and went back to his seat beside me.
"So, Vannah, why were you running fast? And in the center of the road!"
I frown at that. I actually don't remember and I'm expecting to remember it by now. But I haven't, so, I gave him a shrug. He raises his eyebrow in a curious way. I gave him a smile. "I actually don't remember." He frowns and extends his hand on my head, putting pressure on a certain spot where I thought my wound was.
"It doesn't hurt?" Theo asks.
I shake my head. "Nope." Then, as he presses forcefully on the spot again, something flashed in my mind. It was me, mumbling something before I got into an accident. It stopped when I didn't feel any pressure anymore. Theo waved a hand in front of my face, frowning in a worried way.
"Are you alright?"
I frown. "Press it again." Without questioning my command, he quickly do so. But I knew he was confused about it. Memories flashed in my mind and it was clearer than before. Shoving away the things in front of me, I decided to stay focused on my memories. It showed like a I was in a cinema but I still didn't hear what I had mumbled, making me slump my shoulders in disappointment.
All of it stopped at once when I didn't feel the pressure anymore.
I blinked and I saw Theo, frowning once again.
I smile, reassuring him a little bit. "I'm fine, I just need that."
I look outside and saw that it was almost dark. I didn't want to get into a car crash again, so I guess I'll be spending the night. But, I think that isn't the only thing I had in mind. My eyes narrowed back to Theo, who was smiling goofily as the sun sets. I laugh quietly, intrigued that he can be a kid too.
"I'll be spending the night here."
Theo looked back quite fast, surprised somehow.
I tilt my head, confused. I mean, he's nice to let me stay right? Laughing, he smiles back, still staying on his position. I grin back, still confused. I guess he won't let me stay, huh. So I'll have to go back to the garbage heap, man, that is awful. But free fishes...I guess.
"Sure, I'll let you stay."
My confused grin went to a 'full-throttle' grin as I ran upstairs carefully like real cat and opened the door of the room where I was cooped up for hours that day and got comfy on the bed. Theo had followed me, slowly and silently. Theo leaned on the door, crossing his arms with a smile.
"Do you like it here?"
I shrug. "Do I even have a choice?"
He grins. "Sleep with me."
My race bursted with crimson color. I looked back at him, trying to frown but all came out was, "Ah-aha, what?" from my mouth and he laughs so hard, like there's no tomorrow. I threw a pillow, which hit him on the head. I frowned.
"Stop joking, sheesh. I'm going to sleep here and that's it."
I pushed him out of the room and closed the door, specifically, locking it. I heard him knock and whine, I didn't know why he was whining. Sheesh, I'm the visitor here and the one should be whining about his behavior.
I sighed and pushed off the blankets since it was so hot even it was night. I curled into a ball, and went to sleep, thinking to bother other things tomorrow.
"Savannah?"
I groan in discomfort.
"What is it now?"
"That's my room."
"Well, go to your other room and sleep on it. Duh." I say, wanting to sleep. My eyes was closed but I didn't bother opening it since I was tired. Sighing, I hugged my pillow, but technically his, Theo's. I heard him knock countless of time again. Getting annoyed, I unlocked the door and opened it. I grabbed his shirt and threw him in the room as I slammed the door close.
I was left outside.
"You sleep there. And I sleep here. Done."
I leaned on the door, shifting to get a comfortable position. I curled into a ball again, the darkness finally spewing me in it. I huff and mumbled, "________..." I quickly fall asleep but not on the door, but on the side of the door as I leaned on it.
3rd Person POV
Theo sighed and waited a little bit, looking at the moon as it shine with all its glory. After for a while, he finally stood up and opened the door, looking at the side to see Savannah asleep already. He crouches to her height and slowly put his arms around her, carrying her bridal-style.
He gently put her on the bed and lied beside her but not before locking the door and checking if all was unplugged and turned off.
"Goodnight."
