BEN's POV

I finished telling the whole situation with Ana and she's just sitting there in shock. I don't blame her if I was in her shoes right now

Ana: so that's why that creep started attacking you at the party! I thought you two had beef with one another or something!

BEN: we do have a bad connection between us, and we rather not try and fix it. Dark Link is someone who I used to be close with, but that was before I found out about the whole black market thing. Don't get me wrong, I kill people and I knew he did need the money badly...*mumbles* probably for games like me

I hear Ana giggle after hearing what I just said and it made me smile a bit. Didn't take long before it went away so I can show how serious the situation was.

BEN: but I didn't think he'd stoop that low for the money. He killed someone who was important to me in the human world and sold their body parts to creeps who have fetishes. So that's why there bad blood between us

I turn to Ana who is trying not to look jealous but I chuckle since she does a terrible job keeping it hidden

BEN: don't worry, I'm not gay

Ana immediately burst out laughing after I said that and I followed along. It's nice to talk with someone like Ana since she's more open minded and understanding to your feelings

Ana: but I don't get it, how could he have known me? I get that we met each other when he broke in, but how?

BEN: what do you mean?

Ana: you can already judge from my looks that I wouldn't live in a place like this

I felt my eyes widen and I stare at the table trying to process what she said. It's true that Dark Link only knew her when he broke in, and even if he didn't knew that she wasn't there, there's no way he'd break into our house with Smiley Dog and Grinny Cat chasing him out. Besides, he knows we have nothing worth stealing that would match his taste after all. If it's true that Liu has seen (Y/N) with Ana before, why would he send Dark Link after Ana? To create a distraction? To lower our stamina and our health for him to attack us easier?

BEN: Ana, we need to talk with Slender and the rest.

Ana looked at me a bit surprised but she agreed to do it. We cleaned up our mess and we rushed upstairs to his office and knocked

Slender: come in

I opened the door seeing Slender looking right at me and I walked up to him.

BEN: we need to talk about this whole situation. Ana already knows about it and maybe we can figure it out if we talk it out

Slender seems to be in deep thought

Slender: not while (y/n) is here, we can't risk talking it out right now when she can probably over hear us.

Ana: why can't she know?? She has the right to know about it as much as everybody else who knows what's going on!

Slender: Ana, if your boyfriend would have a brother that was assumed to be "dead" and chasing after you to be with him forever, how would you react?

Ana: I would be scared! I'd probably leave my...boyfriend...for my safety..

Ana looked away in guilt. This is why we can't tell (Y/n)

Slender: it's true that (Y/N) may think otherwise, but you know how Jeff was before when he injured her. He could barely function after we all found out it was actually him and not her ex that injured her. He could barely mumble a word after a whole year of us stopping him from talking to (Y/N) after what's he's done.

BEN: which is why we can't tell her anything. Not yet anyways. When we find the right time to do it

Ana is just standing there but soon nods. I left to go gather everyone who knows about this situation. It's time to stop Liu
