Jeff's POV

Jeff: You almost told (y/n) about our cover...

Slender: *sighs* I'll agree to change you to be the very last person to look over (Y/n), Toby. But this better be the last time that this ever happens and if you do happen to be in charge of her, I will buy all the waffles if you don't tell her. Nor how hard she tries to crack you

Toby: w-what?? That's so m-mean Mr. Sl-slender! I don't l-like hiding s-secrets from h-her!

Jeff: you think the rest of us do? Dude, the only reason we're doing this is because we have to protect her from my brother.

It's true I don't like keeping secrets from (Y/n). It's not everyday someone like her comes into my life and changes me in some way. But it's too risky to tell her about Liu. He's already been getting to close to (y/n) for my comfort and I'm not planning to lose her to someone like his other side.

Toby: I k-know I know! But s-still...

Slender: I know that feeling Toby. But we have to stick to the plan to make sure she doesn't end up in the hands of someone who will kill her

I nod and we both waited for Toby to at least give a nod to make sure he understands the situation (y/n) is in. He stared at the floor and nods slightly.

Jeff: okay. (Y/n) is in her room, right?

Toby: y-yes

Jeff: I'm gonna go check on her

I left Slender's office and I head to her room. But I have a feeling someone heard us...it's probably nothing?

Ana's POV

I hid in a bathroom before Jeff could slam open the door and hit my face.

Ana: thanks for letting me hide in here Jane...sorry

Jane: no problem...maybe I should lock the door from now on

Ana: yes, especially when you're showering Jane

We both laugh and I left there before Jeff comes back. I follow him and see he goes in (y/n)'s room. I sighed a bit missing my chance to tell her what I heard between Slender, Jeff, and Toby. Keeping a secret from her? And why me as well?? I went downstairs and into the kitchen where I saw BEN playing on his phone and getting a sandwich from the plate of sandwiches he made. I smiled and took a sandwich biting into it which took me by surprise considering he almost burns the food and this sandwich is good. He looks up to see who grabbed a sandwich and smiles kissing my cheek when he saw it was me.

BEN: hey babe. What's up?

Ana: nothing much...heh, I have a question BEN..

BEN: anything. What's on your mind?

I see him take a bite of his sandwich and I look at my own sandwich finding a way to properly question what's on my mind.

Ana: why are...Jeff, Slender, and Toby hiding a secret from (y/n) about Liu?

I jumped back hearing choking coming from BEN who accidentally sucked in the food out of shock and I kept patting his back for the food to come out. When he spit out the ball of food, he grabbed his monster drink and chugged a bit calming down. When he did, he set down the drink and refused to look at me.

BEN: I-I...I have no idea what you're talking about

Ana: yes you do BEN! When it comes to lying to me, you're not good at hiding it!

BEN: sh sh! Calm down babe, please. I'll tell you, but swear on our relationship that you will not tell (Y/n) what I'm about to tell you

I looked at him shocked. When we swear on our relationship, it's a very serious promise. If we swear on our relationship and we end up breaking the promise, it means you betrayed your lover and I could never live down the guilt if I break a promise to BEN. I love him too much and I would never forgive myself.

Ana: okay...I swear on our relationship. Now please tell me

BEN: okay...it'll be long so let's enjoy the food and drinks.

I nodded and I started eating wondering how I'm gonna be able to deal with the feeling of keeping a secret from my best friend that helped me a lot in high school. Oh (y/n)....I'm sorry I can't tell you. But I love BEN a lot. Please forgive me if you find out that I knew and didn't tell you. I hope you understand..
