" LAKSH!!!!!!!!!" Ragini woke up, screaming Laksh's name. She saw that same nightmare, the one she saw on the night of Sanskar's marriage. Ragini clutched her head in fear and tears.

" What have you done Ragini??":

The images of Laksh being consumed by the fire flashed across her mind

" Laksh......." She uttered. " The Fire was signifying your anxiety..". Ragini's eyes pooled up. "Oh My God... You showed me that my Laksh was going to suffer... I have seen it....and Still... I made him suffer" Ragini shut her eyes in guilt.

" What did you do Ragini??? You were angry with him that he hid his health status from you and just left him alone to suffer again ....Why??? Just to satisfy your Ego??? You pushed him back to his problems?? ... Why couldn't you just hear out his problems??? You always knew that he didn't like you coming here. You always knew that he never wanted to sent you here. But He sent you here for your happiness...Rucha said that the tablet was taken because this disorder has relapsed... That means it relapsed because..of ME.... Because you were worried about me.

" Ragini buried her face in her palms.

"Raginiiiiiii...." Ragini called out herself.. "You shouldn't have left him alone to suffer...Yes... He should have told you about his problems... He did wrong, by hiding it from you... You have all the right to be angry.....But you should have gone with him today.... You should have talked to him about his fears and worries.....He must be broken because of my words." Ragini knelt down and cried.She frantically looked and saw Laksh's missed calls. She missed them as she was angry with him.She called him, but couldn't connect.

" I should Go to him..." Ragini got up, wiped her tears.. And rushed out.She dashed Karthik and Naira at her door and was about to fall

" Careful Ragini" Karthik held Ragini and straightened her.."

"Bhaiyya.." Ragini held Karthik's hand." Please take me to Maheshwari Mansion...I want to see my Laksh.."

Karthik narrowed his eyes in confusion, but decided to give in looking at her miserable state

"Chalo...We will take you to Laksh" Karthik said

Karthik was not aware of the exact chronology of events, But he was sure that something happened between laksh and Ragini.He had his doubts tight, when Ragini asked to exit the wedding venue in anger. He and Naira was worried about her, as they saw cut on Ragini's forehead.Ragini was adamant on moving out of the place,rather than nursing her wound.Obviously she was angry with Laksh, But at that time , she was burning.They saw Laksh continuously ringing on Ragini's phone, but Ragini kept ignoring the call. As soon as she reached her room, Ragini was wailing.Karthik and Naira decided to give her space and time. They somewhere felt that she would eventually come to them.

" Bhaiyya.." Ragini called. " Stop...That's Laksh's Car."

Karthik applied brakes and looked in the direction Ragini was pointing. He saw Laksh's car being collided to a tree.

" LAKSH!!!!!". Ragini screamed and rushed out of their vehicle.Karthik and Naira got out of the car and ran towards him.Karthik saw a group of people approaching Laksh's car. A man opened the driver's seat and pulled a drowsy Laksh out and punched him in the face. Laksh hit the ground as the impact of the punch.

" Nooo..." Ragini gasped as she stood numb, seeing what was happening to Laksh. Karthik accelerated himself and reached near Laksh and blocked them before they tried to harm Laksh further.

Naira and Ragini reached near Laksh, who was unconscious.

"Laksh..." Ragini took him on her lap and tried to wake him up .." Jaan... Please open your eyes.. Laksh.. Please open your eyes"

Karthik was pushed onto the ground by the goon. Naira rushed to Karthik and helped him on his feet. Karthik barged on the goon who was moving towards Laksh and Ragini.While he tried to block one guy, the other one tried to attack Laksh. Sanskar came from nowhere with Kunal and pushed the goons back.

Still, Blocking a goon, Karthik saw two of them nearing the guy meddling with him.

" Yeh Goenka Saab ki Beta hai... Lets Abort." They whispered among themselves.Karthik clearly heard the contents.His grip over the guy loosened,as he was in confusion. The goon made a peculiar sound. Hearing that particular sound all the goons dispersed , leaving them back. Sanskaar and Kunal rushed to Laksh, while Karthik was trying to wrap the goon's words around his head.

" Laksh!!!" Sanskar patted his brother's face, checked his pulse instinctively.

" Sanskar" Ragini cried.. "My Laksh is not opening his eyes.."

" We need to get him to Hospital." Sanskar directed

Naira kept her hand on Ragini 's while they were sitting outside Sanskar's consultation room. It's been half an hour since Sanskar and his staff took Laksh in for treatment.Ragini was weeping, keeping her head on Swara's shoulder,sitting in between Swara and Naira. Karthik and Kunal,were walking to and fro impatiently, occasionally trying to peep in through the glass hole of the door.

Sasnkar came out of the room and opened the door for Laksh. Laksh came out,with a bandage on his forward and small scratches on his arm and face. He was looking fine ,except to the fact that he looked slightly pale. Ragini ran towards him. She caught the elbows of his arms and checked him urgently.

" Sanskar...Is he alright??..Is he hurt??? Did you check him properly" Ragini was shooting questions at Sanskara. Naira saw Laksh smiling with his eyes moist, witnessing Ragini's concern for him.While Ragini's eyes were on Sanskar, waiting for his answers

" Ha Baba... I checked him . He is fine.. Just need to eat something now.." Sanskar kept his hand on her shoulder

" Did you do a full body Scan.??" Ragini shot again

" No need for that Ragoo Rani, I have given him a drip... He is just okee"

" What?? " Ragini exclaimed " Are you even a doctor???" She kept hands on her hips. "Is your medical degree even valid???"

Sanskar popped his eyes out on her question,...

" Sanskar,... He was unconscious.." Ragini's eyes dropped tears in concern. "You need to ..." Before Ragini could complete her words Laksh pulled her into a hug and placed his chin on her shoulder, visibly sobbing.Ragini tightened her arms around his torso, Instinctively and broke down on his chest.

Naira could see that everyone connected to Ragini and Laksh, who were present, had a satisfied smile on their face, even watery eyes. They were inseparable,Many things cropped up in these days, That kept them separate. Naira was not fully aware of things. But she knew that it was taking a toll on Ragini and Laksh's relation. From day one with Ragini, Naira admired them as a couple and She is now elated that they are back together, keeping whatever happened between them, beside.

" Ab bas bhi Karo Yaar..." Sanskar said, wiping off his tears. He put his arms around Ragini and Laksh, from behind, without coming in between them." Baaki sab Ghar pe Karo."

Ragini and Laksh smiled at him. And looked at each other with affection.

" Aur haa Raghoo Rani.." Sanskar said in a serious tone.. " Laksh was not unconscious fully. He was sleepy actually." Ragini looked at Sanskar and Laksh in confusion." Woh he was really tired after his emotional tussles, that he passed out after a single punch and was sleeping deeply." Laksh passed an awkward smile at Ragini, while Ragini's eyes welled in worry. She hugged him tightly

"I am sorry Laksh... It is only because of me you have gone through all these." Ragini started sobbing again...

" Lo ... Yeh phir shuru ho gayi.." Swara slapped her forehead. " It's all over Rahoo.... You guys are together... Everything is back to normal." Swara kept her hand on Ragini's cheek.

" Yes Darling" Kunal came to her and cupped Ragini's face. "Ragini... Laksh and you, both are safe now..."

After a round of pacification, The group was set to disperse

" Bhaiyaa.." Ragini came to Naira and Karthik " Bhabhi.. Woh"

" You are going with Laksh.." Karthik said firmly. Ragini 's lips pulled up to her ears, in gratitude ,as her brother understood her. Right now you both need each other." Karthik hugged Ragini

" We will talk to Maa and papa... they will understand" Naira presses Ragini's hand.

" Thank you Bhabhi" Ragini hugged Naira.

" Thank You Karthik " Laksh came forward.." If it was not for you both,... I don't know if I would be standing like this here." Ragini's eyes pooled up again, maybe flashing her mind through , what could have happened.

" Take Care.... Jiju" Karthik said 'Jiju" in a comical tone. Laksh laughed at the way Karthik articulated 'Jiju'. He hugged him farewell and started to move for their vehicle. Ragini and Laksh had their arms around each other

" Laksh," Karthik called, remembering something..

" Ha.." Laksh turned back.

" Do you know who attacked you??" Karthik asked calculatively.

Laksh stood at his spot for a moment. Different expressions played on his face. Anger,confusion,and finally calmness. Naira could also see Sanskar, Swara and Kunal looking at each other with meaning.

"No...."Laksh said , almost looking away from karthik. " I think they were local goons, attacking people for money." He smiled at Karthik diplomatically.

" Ok.."Kathik reciprocated the diplomatic smile and bid goodbye.

Karthik and Naira got inside their car. Naira put on her belt . She saw Karthik bending his head on the steering

" Kya hua Karthik. " Naira asked Karthik, keeping her hand his shoulder

" He is lying, Naira... Laksh is lying". Karthik looked at Naira. " he knows.. Who attacked him"

Naira ,obviously had her doubts, but brushed it off.

"He didn't even meet my eyes" Kathik said

" I know Karthik... I also saw Swara, Sanskar and Kunal' expression... I think they all know something"

"Ho Na Ho, It is related to us..." Karthik said firmly.. " I feel that he was trying to protect Ragini and Me from this "

" What do you mean??" Naira was confused

"Naira... Those goons left us because they recognised me as 'Goenka saab ka beta'"

" What??" Naira was shocked with this piece of information

"Haa .. Naira...." Karthik said. " I heard them talk among themselves... clearly....I am scared Yaar.....What if someone from our family is involved".

" No Karthik... You are overthinking" Naira rubbished . "Our family would never involve in such criminal activities They might have recognised you. Remember .. We are Goenkas" Naira tried to explain

" Naira.... This is Kolkata... Here we are not famous enough as in Delhi.... And if they were to be scared, They must not have touched Laksh... Maheshwaris and Laksh Maheshwari are bigger names in Kolkata than Goenkas..."

Naira was getting a clear picture. She was slowly coming to the conclusion that Karthik fears, be it or not, can be true

Sanskar was happy that ,finally his Raghoo Rani is back at home, safe and sound.His family gathered in Laksh's room, to avoid questions and answers from other family members. His mother was hugging and kissing all over Ragini's face. Suji maa couldn't contain her relief and happiness,seeing Ragini and Laksh safe.

" Aww .. My baby Doll is finally back home... I missed you so much..."" Sujatha kept on hugging her

"Maa.. She will be here only.. You will kill her , if you hug her like this." Sanskar teased.

"Chup Kar " Sujatha huffed. "My baby doll is home after many days..." Sujatha tucked Ragini's loose hair behind her ear." I will show my love... I missed her so much"

" I missed you too Maaa.." Ragini hugged her back

" Maa..." Laksh called.. " I am hurt.. " Laksh pointed at his bandage. " You can pour your love on meet too

" You deserved it...." Sujata shot . "For hurting my Baby"Sujata said cupping Ragini's face.Laksh curved his lips to a pout.

"Chalo... I will care for you and Love You" Ram came and hugged Laksh. " You are Papa's Teddy" Laksh looked and showed his tongue at Sujatha.

Sanskar could sense the feeling of relief flushing through him. Finally his loved ones are around him. Their ordinary and simple life with small moments were coming back.Ragini, who was the heartbeat of the house is back.It was decided among them that Ragini will be exposed to the truth by Laksh, in their private space. They collectively decided not to rush into the matter, considering Ragini's health

" Ragini..." Sanskar's lady love came dancing into the room.." See what I have got for you to eat" Swara cme in a tray full of sorted delicacies. A plate of pasta, Rajma chawal, Roti, Paneer, achar, noodles,ladoo, barfi , juice, tea and what not. Only Swara could bring in such varieties in a tray.

"Ragini smiled at Swara and mouthed 'Yummy'.

Sanskar thought of making fun of her cooking skills. and was about to open his mouth.

" Don't worry Sanskar, i didn't cook this. I just instructed Leela Didi, She made the whole stuff" Swara shut him up before he could speak..

" Chalo Ragini, Laksh... have food" Swara pulled Ragini and made her sit on the sofa. She deliberately avoided calling Sanskar, even when the food was for all of them, to execute revenge on him for trying tease her.Suji maa and Papa and left the room, to give privacy to Laksh and Ragini, which was of no use as Sanskar was on full proof plan to not let them alone.

" Laksh chalo..Sit with Ragini and feed her." Swara instructed.. Laksh came and sat with Ragini. They looked at each other and .... Kept on looking at each other

" Why are both behaving like hormonal teenagers?" Sanskar asked, keeping his hand under his chin. Swara giggled at his question,Laksh looked away, while Ragini's face heated up into a light crimson tone...

" HAyeee.... Marjavaa...." Sanskar caught his chest.." Blushing and all ha.. Ragoo Rani.."

" Sanskar..." Swara slapped Sanskar;s shoulder.." Don't tease her.. Chalo Ragini , Laksh... Let's start"

" Ragini... Don't take stress Baby.... He will feed you.. Don't use your beautiful hands." Sanskar held ragini's hands " Oye... You made may Raghu Rani cry ... so now you should compensate now..."

" Ok...." Laksh agreed..He took a spoon of pasta, and kept near her lips.." I know... This is just a tiny effort , when compared to the pain I put you through...Still" Laksh's eyes reflected the moisture in Ragini's eyes... and again... they were into each other's eyes..

" Shona.. " Sanskar whispered.. " I think .. we can eat all the food , as they are least interested in it..

"Sanskaaar" Swara slapped Sanskar's shoulder." bhukkad kahi ki..."

Swara felt delighted,spending time with Ragini after a long time. After having dinner, Sanskar was constantly pulling Ragini and Laksh's leg, Then they decided to disperse into each other's private den. Swara was getting back upstairs, after fetching water for the night. Suddenly,She was blocked by almost drunk Viren and Omi.

" Hey There..., Swara Bhabhi.." Viren said

Swara was shocked by their entry

"You look beautiful in this saree, Swara Bhabhi..." Omi took the pallu of Swara's saree in his hand. Swara quickly released her Pallu and was about to move out.

" Ah... Where are you going bhabhi...." Viren blocked her

"Wha.. What do you want ??" Swara managed to speak

" You are smart Swara bhabhi..." Omi chuckled.." You directly came to the question.... We want you to help us.."

" What help??" Swara was scared.

" You know Bhabhi... we have some investments in our Friend's company... and we were trying to obtain the Oberoi wala tender for that company... But because of your sheer brilliance, Laksh got it..." Viren was narrating his part. " I want you to ask to Laksh to drop the tender and give it to us." Viren made it sound simple

"Are you serious. '' Swara regained her composure, listening to their illogical demand " That will not happen". Swara tried to cross Viren. Viren caught Swara's wrist. She dropped her jug and yelped in pain

" If you don't agree... I will destroy you" Viren threatened. The next moment Viren felt a hit across his face.

Laksh and Sanskar stood in the veranda while Swara went to fetch water and Ragini went to the washroom.

"So...What are you planning?? When will you speak to her,??" Sanskar asked Laksh...

"Tomorrow ... I will take her to a resort after lunch..." Laksh said.. " I need it to be us.. I will tell her everything..." Laksh said. By ' everything',. Laksh meant everything which was known and unknown to Sanskar. Of course , the primary concern is to convey to her the truth of her parents. But Laksh knew that Ragini would have queries about his health, which was unknown to Sanskar. He was ready to face all the questions from her and was ready to tell her everything about Goenkas. He has learned his lessons and doesn't want to keep her darkness. The happiness he anticipated for her , by not knowing the truth is not a immortal one, but a delusion.

" Okay... " Sanskar tapped Laksh's shoulder. " everything will be fine" Sansakr assured

" I know" Laksh nodded.. " I just hope that she will recover soon from this pain... and I hope that Karthik is kept away from this revelation. That guy is genuine and will shatter if he comes to know that his sister was not lost, but left behind by his family, for superstitions surrounding him.

" Hmmm I know... and moreover , He is having the sibling wala bond with Ragini, So it will be difficult for him to tolerate his parents and grandparents after he comes to know about the truth." Sanskar said.

Their conversation was interpreted , when they heard a commotion near the stairs. Laksh and Sanskar quickly moved towards the stairs and saw Swara hiding behind Sujata, who was red in anger, facing Viren and Om.Viren kept his hand on his cheeks, signifying that he was slapped a moment ago. Sanskar and Laksh rushed to their mother.

"How dare you touch my Swara?? " Sujata screamed

"Kya hua Maa..?? "Laksh asked. Sujatha turned her face in disgust.

"What happened Shona?? " Laksh turned to Swara. Swara was weeping, which was unlike her.

"Shona...".Sanskar kept his hand on both of her shoulders.. "Tell me" Sanskar said softly.

As soon as Swara finished narrating what happened, Laksh lunged on Vire.

"You dog....how dare you touch our Shona?? " Om and Sujata tried to separate Viren from Laksh. Sanskar protectively kept Swara between his arms.

"Laksh... Stop It" Sujata managed to separate

"If I find you near her..., Viren.. i will forget that you both are my cousins".Laksh snarled a warning

"Om, Viren... Go back to your room...".Sujata demanded

As Viren and Om departed, Laksh and Sujata went up to to Swara to pacify her. Sanskar took Swara to their room, once she was fine. Sujatha and Laksh departed to theirs.

Laksh was disturbed with the events that took place moments ago.He hoped that Shona is fine. No, He was sure that Shona will be fine as Sanky was with her.

Laksh looked for Ragini inside his room, but she was nowhere. Suddenly his eyes locked her at the balcony, probably looking at the stars,an intense swirl of relief went through him. She was here, with him. He was feeling home. After a gap of three weeks, she was back in their room . He took steps towards her. He could feel the gentle and cool breeze in the balcony. He put his arms around her,from back. And rested his chin on her shoulder. In turn, she leaned on him. They stood there without uttering a word.Lakh slowly stroked her baby bump, inviting their Tutu to join them in the moment.

There were a lot of things to clear... a lot more to be introduced and answered between them. But the moment they were in, was worth more than that.They knew that they could afford to steal this night from themselves, Just by being with each other.. Everything else.. can wait for another time.

Ragini drew the curtains, letting in the light to touch her husband's face and spread in the room. As usual Laksh hustled on the bed

" Raghoo...." He whined .." Mat Karna Yaar.. Sone Do "

Ragini smiled and went back to drying her hair. She let the drizzles from her hair fall on his face.

" Raghooo Yaar.." Laksh kept his head his pillow

" Hello... Maheshwari Ji... Get up" Ragini tried to remove the pillow. " Sanky is taking an off today and he is planning a breakfast treat forus,in your favorite restaurant. If you dont wake up now, your breakfast will be your Lunch."

Laksh tried to resist, But finally had to fall for his Ragini. He got up lazily and dragged himself to the washroom. Ragini arranged their bed and kept Laksh's clothes ready. She was enjoying her room once again. She was happy to be back into routine. Waking him up, arranging his stuff and being with him.

Ragini's attention was diverted and she heard Laksh' phone vibrate. She saw Kunal's name flashing. She happily connected the call

" Ha.." Ragini was interrupted before her 'Hallo',

" Laksh... Bhai" Kunal spoke through the phone. "My people caught those Goons who attacked you yesterday". Ragini inhaled sharply.

"... and guess what.. No surprises.. They were sent by Goenkas... And that too specifically by Janaki Goenka.... This time your MIL.. not FIL like last time...and that too with clear instructions to kill you"

Ragini's world stuck at that second. She couldn't believe her ears..She tried to recollect Kunal's words and mentally concluded that her birth mother Janaki Goenka ,has hired goons to kill her husband. Ragini automatically dropped Laksh's phone.

" Ragini.." Laksh, who just came out of the washroom, rushed to her. He took up the phone

" Hello..."

Ragini went and sat on the bed. Her legs were unable to hold her, as they were shivering.She looked at Laksh, who was talking to Kunal. His expressions turned stern as the phone conversation went on.

Laksh came near her,after he disconnected the call. He knelt down and took her hand in his.

" Ragini.." He called her gently

"Laksh..." Ragini panicked..." Kunal is saying that Maa was the one who ordered to attack you...Oh my god... I can't believe this.. How is this possible..How can Maa do that??? What have you done wrong to her??"

Ragini's expression changed as she looked at Laksh

" You are not shocked, Laksh...".Ragini realised. Laksh looked at her ,with concern.. "You are not even startled...You know something about this."

Laksh got up and cupped Ragin's face.

"Jaan....I know that your parents wants to kill me" Laksh tried to keep his words gentle. But his words had hard hitting impact on Ragini.Laksh narrated everything that he knew, starting from him and Sanskar meeting Sudharshan Babu at The Orphanage, Badi maa telling them her past,Their drama on finding Ragini, Kunal's Final revelation about the Dadaji and his superstitions, Their plan to take Ragini away to Delhi by separating them to Mauli Bua informing him about the conspiracies against him.

Ragini Knelt down on the ground.She was beyond shocked to hear Laksh's words..

"This is not possible...This is not possible...They can kill you..they can't cheat me like this ?"Ragini shook her head and broke into tears. Laksh sat near her and encircled his arms protectively around her. Ragini broke down in his arms , trying to brace the truth.

After a long while..Ragini composed herself and stood up.Laksh got up with her.Her face exhibited a strange kind of expression mixing in anger and determination.

"Take me to Goenka Mansion...."Ragini said..."I want to meet them" Laksh tried to protest "for this one last time..." Ragini said determined
