Karthik reached the door of Ragini's room with a tray of food. The girl has been starving herself since Laksh left. She had constant tears in her eyes. She tried to reach Laksh on the phone, but he was switched off. She couldn't really call anyone else as the issue would blow out of proportion.

Ragini looked at her phone, which presumably displayed the picture of Laksh.

" Please talk to me Jaaan..." Ragini sobbed between her words.

Karthik knocked the door. Ragini composed herself, wiped off her tears and looked at the door

" May I??" Karthik asked. Ragini nodded in reply

It was really awkward for Karthik to handle this situation, considering the relation they share, despite being siblings. Yeah, things were pretty neat after their family time. Be it the game of dumb charades or their team up, they were fine with each other. But to console her or to even have a heart to heart talk with her was a difficult task. Maybe Naira or Mauli Bua would have done a pretty good job in that. But Karthik was determined to take up the task himself

Karthik placed the tray on the adjacent table and sat near her. Ragini was looking lifeless. She had dark circles under her eye and was concentrating on her phone. She wrapped her fingers tightly around the phone.

" Hmmm........Eat Something" Karthk awkwardly tried to break the ice.

" I am not Hungry" She smiled at him awkwardly.

"But your baby might be'' Karthik took her hand in his. Ragini looked at him hopefully. " We men have a problem, Even if the whole world turns against us, we would live on.... But if our lady disagrees with us, We will go mad.." Karthik chuckled. Karthik was surprised with himself that He took the side of Laksh Maheshwari and he could see the same surprise on Ragini's face.

" Don't look at me like that.." Karthik turned his face to hide his awkwardness

" See... I am not still a fan of your Laksh '' Karthik spoke after composing himself. But I think I can understand him in this situation, considering the way you two stick together.

Ragini nodded. " I know.... I Know that he is hurt , as he felt that I didn't trust him, But I seriously can't blame Papa, He was with us the whole day"

" I can understand....To be honest, I was really angry with him for behaving rude with Papa, But I couldn't really blame him. He had a double shock today, one because of your words and second because of your friend's accident." Karthik could really see fresh layers of tears on Ragini's face. She was guilty Even though she was not responsible for whatever happened to Laksh or Gautham.

" How's Gautham??" Karthik enquired

" Sanskar said that he is good. Rucha and Sanskar plastered him well." Ragini said, occasionally sniffing in between."I wanted to go to the hospital, But Sanskar and Kunal warned me against coming there. Sanky said that Gautham will be discharged and brought to Orphanage tomorrow in the evening. He asked me to come to the hospital in the morning" .

"Discharge,??? So Soon??" Karthik was surprised. "Wasn't he gravely injured??

"Sanskar was like Gauthamis having a fracture and has bruises all over. Sanskar didnt want to to discharge him for at least 2 days.But Gautham was whining all over about his shaadi to be held after 2 days. Amu too wanted to postpone their marriage but Gautham was very adamant."

" What??? Karthik was shocked." He wants to get married in this condition??

" Gautham doesn't like to change his plans.... Not even the smallest plans... so..." Ragini trailed off

"If his shaadi is after two days, the functions should begin already right?" Karthik started tearing the paratha and placed it in Ragini's mouth.. She involuntarily took it.

" They are skipping the functions and holding a simple shaadi. They are donating a huge amount to the orphanage instead " Ragini said.

" Achha.." Karthik was feeding Ragini and The process was going on without both of them realising it.

" But still skipping functions is so sad" Karthik made a sad face.

"Me and Laksh also skipped our functions... Only Shaadi... But that was a grand one.." Ragini said.

"Really?? " Karthik asked surprised..." Btw how did your love story begin... ??? I have heard bits and parts from Naira and Bua, But I want to hear the whole story.." Karthik sat showing interesting.

" Hmmm... Actually our love story is a bit slow.... the actual story started whenSujji Maa came to Orphanage....." Ragini started narrating her story to her brother, having bites of food in between,

." And finally everything came into line after Swara and Sanskar got married.......So... That is our Story... and you Know the rest..." Ragini finally completed her story and the food.

" Hmmmm.... No wonder he behaved like that today" Karthik said. Ragini raised her eyebrow in confusion

" You are someone who believed him when he was accused of misbehaving with his ex.that too you never asked for proof.... You have been with him, loved him and prioritised him. So now you were slightly not taking in what he was saying, So he is super angry." Karthik said.

" I know.... He must be feeling really bad....." Ragini's eyes dropped a tear. " Aapko pata hai....Mere life ka sabse best aur happy moment kya hai??" Ragini asked

Karthik smiled and shook his head .

"The moment when I felt that he had opened himself for me. The moment when he made me wear this " She picked her Thaali. "That day he never said an 'I love you' to me .... It was his eyes... His eyes which invited me to his life,.... His gestures and feelings.... I was never happy in my life like that ... Not when I knew that I was pregnant, But when he broke all his chains between us and came to me" Ragini said like a dream

Karthik nodded and listened to her carefully.

" You must be really angry with Laksh right??" Ragini looked at Karthik .." He was misbehaving with Dad.."

" Not really.." Karthik said..'' Actually I sympathise with him.... I was really angry at first, Then to my surprise , I started thinking about him... I was like he must have felt miserable, when you disagreed with him..."

Ragini bent her head and looked at her mobile

" I think you should leave him for tonight..." Karthik suggested..." Let him cool and we will talk to him tomorrow.... We will also visit your Gautham tomorrow".

Ragini nodded , still in tears.

" Oh come on Ragini.... Get up... let's go for a walk with Naira and Kairav" Karthik pulled her.

Kunal was busy writing ,Get well soon, on Gautham's bandage hand.He almost took over the patient's bed. Gautham was barely hanging on the bed. Gautham noticed that Laksh was sitting on the sofa, lost. Laksh was with him all time after he was shifted to the room.He has been dull since then. Amrita said to him that Laksh had a fight with Ragini,that mixed up his accident has taken a toll on Laksh's mental state. He refused to go home or to the office. He forcefully sent Amrita and Rucha to prepare for marriage which was to be held the day after. Sanskar was with them a while ago, and went upon being called for an emergency. He was taking 24 hr duty to attend Gautham's marriage. Rucha applied for Casual leave to help Amrita prepare. They didn't call Ragini, as not to stress her with arrangements, during her pregnancy.

"Oye Lucky Oye..." Gautham called.Laksh immediately gets up.

" Are you alright???" Laksh was worried." Is it painful??? Should I just call Sanskar??"

Gautham felt bad for Laksh. He was blaming himself for the accident. He was like the attack was meant for him and They mistook Gautham. Little did he know that Gautham took it on himself.

" Laksh... Relax... I was just calling you" Gautham said softly.

" Oh.." Laksh let out a relieved sigh..

: Bro... Tu Ghar Ja..''Kunal got up and kept his hand on Laksh's shoulder. Before Laksh could deny, Kunal interrupted.

" You go... Take a bath, and come back in good clothes..." You really stink Bro" Kunal said

Laksh let out a laugh.

" Ya laksh... please go home and take rest.... We will discharge in the evening... Come by then" Gautham too insisted.

" Gautham... should we just stay two more days at hospital.... You are still weak..and.." Laksh tried to reason..

" Blah.... Blah... I don't want to hear a word.." Gautham put hand over his ears and shook his head ...

"Laksh.. We are done with this discussion... So please... Let me marry in peace... I Am fit and fine bro,..." Gautham tried to flaunt his biceps, in failure.

" Laksh..." Kunal called... "Calm Yaar... He is fine... and his marriage will be the day after... By then he will be ok..." Kunal reassured. " Now you go ...and change this 'bloody' clothes..."

Laksh turned towards the door to see a tensed ragini, accompanied by her brother, Karthik. Laksh stiffened as soon as she saw her. Ragini's eyes welled up as she saw Gautham's condition. Ragini then looked at Laksh, painfully. Laksh walked towards the door and moved out ignoring Ragini. Ragini caught his wrist in hope. Laksh slightly jerked off her hand and went out without looking at her. Gautham felt bad for her.Ragini was the verge of tears. Karthik caught her shoulder from back and pacified her.

" It's Ok... We will meet him in the evening" Karthik assured." You meet up with them... I will wait in the reception" Karthik moved out diplomatically as he knew that he was not very much welcome there. Gautham was fascinated by the fact that Karthik and Ragini and now on good terms with each other.They behaved like normal siblings.

Ragini hugged kunal and came near Gautham. Her eyes dropped tears uncontrollably fast and began sobbing as soon as she was nearing him. Gautham kept his not bandaged hand on her hand

" I am fine Raghoo..." Gauthaml said .Ragini burst into tears. Gautham slowly took her into a small hug and stroked her head

" Don't cry dear... I am fine. "Gautham made Ragini sit near him on the patient's bed and continued with his words of pacification.

After a long attempt, Ragini took control over emotions and her tears subsided.

" What happened between you and Laksh, Raghoo?" Kunal asked Ragini, keeping his hand on her shoulder.

Ragini's eyes welled up again. She began to narrate the incidents that inspired the previous day.

" Gautham... I swear, I didnt want to hurt him or you ... But i am telling the truth... There is no chance it's Papa or Sudharshan uncle.. Because both of them were at home during the time of accident." Ragini kept her point

Gautham was shocked, Because he clearly saw DD Goenka and Sudharshan babu in the car. Ragini cleared their confusion, by telling them about how DD Goenka took leave and how they had a family time.She also told them about Sudharshan being punished to kneeling in the temple the whole day by her Dadaji.

Gautham had no words in his mouth.He couldn't challenge the surety of Ragini's words nor he could question his eye memory. Ragini was desperately showing Naira's instagram live with the family, which was shot almost at the time of accident, which featured DD Goenka.

" Raghoo... Please take a look at this video" Kunal extended his phone. Ragiin eagerly watched the video. After watching the video, Ragini was shocked.

" This....." Ragini hissed

" Ha Raghoo,... This video was recorded in Gautham's car's black box during the attack." Kunal explained. Gautham leaned towards Ragini , who was looking at the video blankly. Anybody could make out that the people in the car was Suharhsan and DD Goenka.

" Check the time on the right side of the video...

" impossible!!!!!..." Ragini was tearing up again..." How can this happen??

" Tell me one thing Raghoo... Did you see Sudharshan's face yesterday??

..

" No... " Ragini replied. "He was facing the the side of idol and we were barred from using temple yesterday by Dadaji.. I could only see his back from balcony... But Dadaji was scolding him every now and then.."

"But that was not Sudharshan...." Kunal concluded.Ragini's face was a mask of shock.

" And what about DD Goenka.." Gautham asked curiously

" DD Goenka was in Goenka mansion as Ragini said." Kunal said

Ragini and Gautham looked at each other, confused.

" Look guys, I Know you both are being confused right now as you have seen both DD Goenka and Sudharshan Babu at the same time..." Kunal tried to clear up their head. " Teh point is that The one who attacked Gautham was definitely Sudharshan babu... Laksh too saw him, But He was not with DD... " Kunal showed his phone with blackbox footage to Ragini and Gautham , pointing the man posing as DD.

"This is not DD" Kunal said, "See.. Gautham, think about it... You were hit and almost losing consciousness and Laksh was far from the car, so you both assumed that the man with Sudharshan was DD, and they wanted you guys to assume that the figure you saw was DD"

Kunal tilted to Ragini." and at your side, DD was with you and your family , and Sudharshan, whom you thought to be kneeling in temple, was not Sudharshan , but his body double"

Things were more clear for Ragini and Gautham

" So was this planned by Sudarshan chachu??" Ragini asked

" But why would he do that ??" Gautham asked " He is just a servant."

" Ragini, believe me or not, your grandfather is behind this..." Kunal said. "Otherwise Sudharshan wouldn't have dared to do this"

Ragini nodded.

" I am also of the same thought. ..Dadaji never liked me.... I always saw hatred for me in his eyes. I also felt that there are chances of him being behind my separation from my family. I have heard Bua talking to Maa on how she is discriminated as she a girl. May be he was the one who plotted from day i was separated from the family" Ragini's eyes brimmed.

" Pata hai, after coming to Goenka house I always felt that there was something off. I was supposed to feel happy after meeting my birth family, But i wasn't that happy. I never felt home... Never felt that happiness that i felt with you guys, even when we were at orphanage. Never felt home like Maheshwari house.Even better to say that I felt more at home in Swara's house than my own house.I told my mind that it was because Goenkas were new to me... That's why I am being skeptical. May be because I was missing Laksh beside me...." Ragini's tears lost its control.

"Whenever I see Dadaji's annoyance on me , I felt like I May be this is why Laksh , didnt want to sent me to Goenkas. Maybe Laksh knew that it was Dadaji who separated me from my Parents and Laksh mistook my Parents to do so.... Iam just staying with Goenkas, for my parents...after this week , I just want to go back home." Ragini wiped her tears.

Gautham had a eyelock with Kunal. They knew that Laksh was right on his view about her parents. But they can't just tell her aloud... because of Laksh. If things were in their hand, they would have alerted Ragini, then and there

" But now I get everything on place.... Dadaji doesn't like me.... If what Kunal is saying is right, Sudharshan Chachu planned this attack with Dadaji, and used Dad's body double to convince Laksh and Gautham that dad was involved, clearly knowing that Dad was at home, I would disagree and It will create rift between me and Laksh"

" Exactly" Kunal supported. " Raghoo, I can't say why they are doing this, But you need to be alert. Keep an eye on Sudharshan and you grandfather".

" Ho jayega ..." Ragini said determined

" Now, How will I convince Laksh??? Ragini hung her head. "He thinks that I don't trust him. I trust him more than anything... I just thought that he was having a misunderstanding about dad and I was trying to clarify it... But in turn ..... He is not even ready to listen to me" Ragini buried her head in her in palms.

"Relax Raghoo..." Kunal kept his hand on her shoulder..

Ragini 's phone was rang. She picked up and answered.

" Haa Bua... Acha... Teek hai.. Teek Hai... I will inform Karthik... Ok ... Bye... " Ragini disconnected the call and sighed.

"Kya Hua Raghoo...??" Gautham asked.

"Nothing... It was Bua.." Ragini exhaled sharply. "Actually Dadaji planned a havan for Karthik and said that It is compulsory that I sit in that havan... But I denied participating in it as it was coinciding with your shaadi. Dadji was angry over that and was throwing tantrums." Ragini , while talking about her Dadaji, emitted a negative vibe. " Bua said that He, at last is ready to cancel the Havan, as per Naira Bhabhi's insistence.

Oh kaay" Kunal said.

Suddenly an idea flashed inside Gautham's head.

" Raghoo....Why don't you tell Laksh about this havan??" Gautham's eyes sparkled.

Ragini looked at him, raising her eyebrow.

" I mean... Tell him that you have a problem and ask him to help you solve this...Like.. To break the ice between you both. You say that you are stuck between, attending Our marriage and havan.... How will I get out of this without hurting anyone..."

Ragini nodded as if she was getting the idea.

"See ... basically, according to what i know about Laksh.. He will never want you in a problem or confusion. He will forget everything and run to solve your problem, rather than fighting with you... then slowly.... you can tell him about Sudharshan and your grandfather's plan and this attack" Gautham clarified.

Ragini hugged him and smiled..

" Thank you Gautham.... You solved my problem..."

" Ok Ok... " Kunal said..." Now rush out and deal with your guy... See you the day after tomorrow for the wedding."

Ragini got up and faced Kunal. " Before that, I have a job for you" Ragini said sternly

" That Sudharshann has hurt our brother," Ragini looked at Gautham... " I don't want him to walk with his legs in this life. This is my quotation....."

" Now you sound like my Old Ragini... the fire brand.....ho jayega" Kunal smirked and put on his goggles

" I was trying to be peaceful..... But he shook me up...".Ragini said and started to leave the room

" Raghoo..." Gautham called. Ragini turned to Gautham.. " Actually, The day before Sanskar's wedding pooja, Badi Maa and Laksh were injured.. Remember??

Ragini nodded

"She didnt fall from stairs, It was Sudarshan who attacked us... Even I was injured that day.. He was the one who attacked Badi Maa.... Me and Laksh got hurt trying to save her"

Ragni's face went pale

" And today's attack was not for me... It was exclusively for Laksh.

Ragini stood on the steps of Maheshwari house.Gautham and Kunal's revelation actually shook Ragini. She was barely holding herself. She just wanted to see Laksh and hug him for peace.Everything is getting beyond her control. She glared at the steps of Maheshwari house. She wished that she just shouldn't have crossed these steps and went to Goenkas. Of Course, she was happy to get back her parents in her life, but the price she is paying for it is too high.

Ragini was really excited to go the Goenka House. But as soon she reached there, Her excitement died down. She just wanted to go back to Laksh. The warmth she expected from that house was nowhere. Even with her parents, she was not ok. She loved them... But the feeling of 'apnapan' was missing. She always felt secured with Badi Maa, Sujatha Maa and Papa. But even though she was with her own parents. She always felt something missing. She just wanted to complete the one month and go back to Laksh. This one month of her life, she wanted to dedicate to her parents for giving her life, that's it. After that she would have casual Delhi visits for her parents.She definitely had good moments with Naira Bhabhi, Kairav, Mauli Bua and lately with Karthik...But nothing could match the warmth that Laksh, Badi Maa, Sanskar, Suji Maa, Papa, Swara, and her Orchid siblings had for her.Just one more week....Just one more week... she wanted to to be back to that warmth.

" Chalo" Karthik prompted her to get inside. Ragini smiled at him.

As soon as she stepped inside the house, a sense of relief flushed through her. Sujata came running to her.

" My Baby Doll..." Sujatha hugged her tightly." I missed you"

" I missed you too, Maa" Ragini kissed her cheeks. Ragini was relaxed. This feeling of relaxation was missing with Janaki Maa.Even though Ragini and Sujatha used speak daily on phone, she missed her like hell.

Sujatha invited Karthik and Ragini inside. Sujatha informed them that Swara and Sanskar went for work and Ram Papa and Laksh were at home. Laksh was getting ready to go to hospital, to get Gautham's discharged.While Karthik was having tea,Ragini excused herself and went up to her and Laksh's room.

Ragini saw Laksh checking his files hurriedly, while she walked to their room along the long veranda. Laksh didn't see her yet.. His face was pale and had dark circles. Guilt engulfed Ragini as she felt she was being responsible for his state. Laksh kept the file on the table and stretched his back. He took a small white bottle from his pant pockets and picked a tablet from it and gulped it down along with water. Ragini stopped her pace.She was confused. Laksh hated to have tablets.Even if he had fever or cough, he used to depend on household remedies. He never took vitamin or other supplements. Then what is that tablet. She accelerated her steps to ask him directly.

" Laksh..." Ragini saw Ram Papa, going to her room. Laksh immediately hid the bottle in the shelf nearby. After talking something inaudible, Laksh followed Ram Papa to his room. As soon as they left the room, Ragini ran to the shelf, and took out the bottle.Her heart paced uncontrollably. Ragini read out the name.She was about to google it, but remembered Rucha's warning not to equate Google to your Doctor.

Ragini understood that Laksh won't tell her the truth of the medicine as he was trying to hide it from Papa, so she clicked a picture of the bottle and was about to send to Rucha.Suddenly Ragini heard the sound of Laksh's foot steps.She placed the bottle in its place and moved away from it.

Laksh walked in and was shocked to see Ragini in the room. Ragini managed a smile for him.

"Why are you here?? " Laksh asked coldly, glancing at the shelf.

" I came to see you" Ragini managed

" anything specia??l" Laksh maintained his cold temperament.

"Do I need a special occasion to see you" Ragini came near Laksh and looked into his eyes. Both of them stood there for a while trapped in the eyelock.

Laksh broke the eyelock and immersed himself in silly chores, like wiping of invisible dust with a brush.

Ragini was struggling to make a start. She suddenly remembers Gautham's idea

" Laksh...I have a problem" Ragini murmurs.

" What happened?" Laksh turns to her involuntarily, concern filling in his eyes, Though his words were still cold.

Ragini was relieved seeing his reaction and was confident on cooling him down.

"Dadaji has kept a havan for Karthik and is insisting that I too take part in it" Ragini started off her narration. "But it is on Amu and Gautham's wedding day"

Laksh's eyes hardened and his face face grew grey

" So now you are having doubts on whether you should attend Amu's shaadi or your Dadaji's stupid havan" Laksh chuckled

Something in his tone made Ragini feel that their plan to break the ice has backfired

" Laksh..." Ragini stumbled

" Seriously Ragini...You can't choose between Amu's shaadi and a small havan???" Laksh's tone echoed disgust.

" Let me remind you that It was this Amrita , who stood by you during your bad times.... Not your Goenkas....". Laksh threw the brush in his hand. "That stupid Gautham was telling me that Rucha will make Amu ready and Ragini will tie my pagdi.... Here Madam is not even sure that she will be attending the shaadi or nit...."

Laksh's words pierced hard into Ragini's heart. She felt that he has completely lost trust in her.

" No Laksh...It's not like that.." Ragini struggled for words, her eyes brimmed up.

" I just can't believe that within a matter of weeks, they took over our places in your life, that you don't even trust me anymore." Laksh stabbed her with his words.

" Laksh... Please...." Ragini begged.. " I do trust you... Please listen to me"

" Really....??? " Laksh mocked. " Do you trust my words that it was your father who attacked Gautham??"

" Laksh..." Ragini tried to reason.. " It was not Papa..."

" Great..." Laksh threw his hands in air

" Listen to me once" Ragini begged.

"Shut Up Ragini..." Laksh screamed, Ragini flinched on hearing him. He turned his back on her. " Just Go Ragini... I don't want to talk to you now.."

" Laksh Please...." Ragini begged. " Don't do this.. Please.. Listen.. To"

"JUST GET LOST RAGINI!!!!!!" Laksh shouted.

Ragini was shocked beyond words, Never in their life, Laksh has raised his voice, in this tone, Not even in their initial days....Ragini had a feeling that he hopes were crumbling down.She turned away from him and walked away, robotically, without any emotions.

Karthik looked at an emotionless Ragini , who was sitting on her bed. Her eyes were flowing continuously.Mauli Bua and Naira was trying to pacify her..He felt very helpless. He knew that something bad had cropped up between Her and Laksh. After meeting Laksh, Ragini came down to him like a zombie and said that she wanted to leave the place.Karthik was confused as She didn't even wait to say a goodbye to her mother in law. Karthik tried to elicit out her problem, But left it after seeing the state she is in.. Never in these three weeks he had seen a day of her without calling Laksh or vice versa. Almost 24 hours passed.. Neither did she make an attempt nor did he try to call her.

Karthik couldn't see her in this state. He grabbed Naira's phone and dialed his number. He knew that he would never pick his number.

" Hello Bhabhi" Laksh sounded hard

" Phone mat Katna...Mein Kartik bol rahi hoon" Karthik tried to sound authoritative.

"Bolo" Laksh sighed.

" I want to meet you and this is important... about Ragini's health." Karthik made a sweet trap

" What happened to her??" The stiffness in his voice was replaced was concern

" He is just an ego man" Karthik thought.. " Loves her but Ego is too strong"

" Lets meet and talk" Karthik cut the call.

Karthik was waiting for him at the cafe, sipping his coffee.. Laksh came in looking like a mess... Messy hair, beard ... total mess. Karthik raised his hand to grab his attention. Laksh rushed to him

" What happened to Ragini??" Laksh questioned

" Sit" Karthik said in a monotone

" Just tell me" Laksh gritted his teeth

" JUST SIT AND LISTEN" Karthik said above his voice. Laksh had no other choice, so he sat , shaking his leg in concern

"So much concern for her," Karthik mocked. Laksh shot lasers through his eyes

" Look Laksh... Listen to me carefully, without interrupting." Karthik said sternly. " I know you don't like me ... and it's the same for me...But Ragini is my sister... and of course, it took a bit for me to easily accept this. But she is important for me"

Laksh gave Karthik a 'Cut the crap' look to Karthik.

" She is fine... apart from the mental wounds you gave her" Kathik said. Laksh sighed a bit

" Then why did you call me here ..." Laksh was angry

" Just to tell you that My sister trusts you very much, and on that day, when you claimed that Dad and Sudharshan Chachu attacked you, , both were at home." Karthik pulled his phone and showed Naira''s social media posts, proving DD to be at home. He also told him about Sudharshan's alibi..

Laksh looked shocked and confused.

Karthik got up and started to leave

"Your wife trusts you more than anyone... She was not mistrusting you... but was trying to clear a misunderstanding, which you were not letting her do that day... and I think today also you didnt let her" Karthik said. " I still don't understand why you are accusing my father and Sudharshan Chachu... and i truly hope it is a misunderstanding..."

Karthik left a confused Laksh.

Sanskar just joined Kunal and Gautham at Kunal's farm house for a small bachelor party.

" Where is laksh??" Kunal asked.

" He is on his way" Sanky said.." He sounded a bit off"

" what happened now?" Gautham asked. " I mean ,Ragini must have met him yesterday and solved everything na"

"What??" Sanskar asked. "I mean i was took extra duty to make space for your shaadi, just got out hospital and rushed directly here. Swara also didn't say anything about Ragini coming home... may she came when Swara was at work... I haven't talked to Laksh since yesterday. Yeah .. I know that he was angry with Ragini for a bit... But i thought they would solve it themselves..like always"

" Hmm... '' Gautham hummed.." Maybe she met him and solved everything.... I really wish that he would tell her the truth about her parents...That's why I took up all the beatings from those goons, even when i knew that the goons were looking for him.. I knew that if he got beaten up.. He would just hide it from her, in order to 'not hurt her' "

" But as I got hurt, Laksh was furious and almost grilled Goenkas"

" Exactly... I had the same thought... I know that Laksh will get angry with us if we reveal her the truth... So I just revealed half of the truth that her grandfather was involved ... but left out her parents part... as we planned. Gautham also told her about Badi Maa being attacked by Sudharshan"

Sanskar nodded.. " Good ...Now she will be slightly altered..... I can't even tolerate a minute of her in that house... I can only imagine what Lucky is going through... But still not telling her the truth as he doesn't want to hurt her.... And I can't see him hurt in this process. And Thank you guys... for helping me out in slowly revealing the truth to Ragini....And I am also happy that she is also having doubts on her grandfather... I hope Lucky realises the real danger and reveals the whole truth to her... because.. It will be bad or worse, if she find it out in any other way... Only he can do that."

"I am really curious about how they ended up yesterday.... " Kunal was playing with his drink.. " Ragini and Laksh are not picking up their phone... maybe they are lost in their company." Kunal chuckled

Sanskar was alerted by the sound of a car brake. After a while they saw a lost Laksh getting in. He was dazed and confused

" Laksh???." Sanskar called him. A three of them kept their glass on the table and ran to him. Laksh hugged Sanskar and stayed there for a while.

"Kya Hua Laksh??"

Laksh explained them about his meeting with Karthik Goenka and the proofs he displayed in favour of DD Goenka and Sudharshan.

"You didn't meet Ragini yesterday??" Kunal asked , confused.

" Yes.. I met her, But she started off with some havan or something and I got angry and........." Laksh narrated them about what happened between him and Ragini.

" Did you just ask her to 'GET LOST'??? Sanskar asked shocked

Laksh was guilty, he nodded

Sanskar slapped him across his face and held his collar. Kunal and Gautham were shocked.

" How dare you do this to Ragini?" Sanskar asked through his teeth. " Didn't I tell you to tell her the truth??? How many times have I warned you??? That time you said that she will be hurt..... Now look what happened... You ended up hurting her.... She is your wife.... She is going to be the mother of your child... and you are behaving like this with her.... That too when the mistake is clearly yours." Sanskar left Laksh's collar and kept his hand on his forehead.

" I don't even talk to her properly nowadays.... I felt so guilty , hiding this truth from her" Sanskar said

" Laksh.." Kunal kept his hand on a miserable looking Laksh.He told him everything about the conversation between Ragini, Gautham and him, when she came to meet Gautham at the hospital.

" And about the havan, Ragini already said 'NO' to participating in the havan, skipping the shaadi. She directly denied.It was Gautham's stupid idea to talk to you about the Havan. " Gautham hung his head down.

" We thought that you would help her in solving the problem than what just happened." Gautham said." It was just to break the ice between you two

Laksh sat on the chair helplessly.

" Laksh.... Do you know what just happened." Gautham came near him and held his shoulder. "You were always scared that Ragini would be hurt, So you hid the truth about her parents from her. You were foolish enough to send her with them just to keep her happiness. But you were always scared that they would snatch Ragini from you. You were always afraid of her feelings for you and us changing.So when Ragini sided them you felt that she has just prioritized them. And you ended pouring all your insecurities on her... in a very bad way" Laksh nodded

" Laksh, " Kunal called. "It's true that Ragini had been happy about finding her parents.... But staying with them for a month is just for her parents.... Explicitly saying she is just there to show her gratitude for giving birth to her."

" Do you know that Laksh... Ragini asked Kunal to break Sudharshan Babu's leg for attacking me... Her brother..."

Laksh looked at Gautham surprised.

" Which my boys just finished.... RIP Sudharshan babu's legs..." Kunal smirked

" Laksh, Sanskar and Gautham nodded with a satisfied look

" And one more thing... I told Ragini that her grandfather is the main culprit... But the truth is that DD Goenka , Janaki Goenka and Parvati Goenka are equally guilty." Kunal said

" From my investigation I found out that there is a fake GodMan who draws huge amounts of money from Ashok Goenka. That Godman knows his hatred towards girl children and his beliefs in superstition. So he made up a game to get more money. He said to the Goenkas that Karthik Goenka will be in danger if Ragini stays happy during her teenage years. So, Ashok was planning for abortion, when they found out the gender. But the Godman knew that if the baby died sooner , he would not get permanent income from Goenkas, so he also said that the baby should be alive and miserable for Karthik to be safe.This condition also fed Ashok Goenka's hatred on Girl child. He was happy to make Ragini's life hell. But in between Teacher maa and her husband popped up. DD felt it better to send the baby with DP, but the Godman knew about this and made a small fake accident for Karthik, cementing the belief of Ashok, So he was adamant on sending Ragini to the widows place. Then things happened like Teacher Maa told. DP died, Teacher Maa came to the orphanage. They were quiet because they thought that it would be miserable for Ragini at the orphanage.... And Karthik's life will be prosperous... But now their Godman, changed his plate...and said that it's time for Ragini to return home... for Karthik's safety.... That's why they are here.... They thought Ragini would gel up fast with them and go with them to Delhi... But she was always attached to you, laksh... So as they have to leave for Delhi, with Ragini.... They are trying to create a gap between you two.. The whole attack was planned by them... the whole thing about you getting confused with DD and Sudarshan too.In that house.. Only Karthik, Naira and Mauli aunty are innocent.... Rest of them are dangerous" Kunal concluded

Laksh felt miserable for sending Ragini to Goenkas.He should have just told her the truth... She would have never doubted on him or Badi maa....

" How did you know all these? ??" Sanskar asked to Kunal

" I am Kunal Arora, The Don, my brother....." Kunal smiriked... "and I planted my spys in Goenka house as servants as soon as I knew ragini was going to Goenkas.....They heard half of the discussion between evil minds... They are planning something else... But my boy couldn't hear it as he left the place ,when he feared getting caught...But we will find it out soon..."

" Laksh ... Enough is enough...". Sanskar said... we need to get her out of that place soon... We need to tell her the truth..."

" You are right," Laksh said, determined... " You were always right about this"

" But be careful with your moves Laksh... if you barge in today, they will have a counter plan... " Kunal said. " Ragini will come for the shaadi tomorrow, will tell her the truth after shaadi and pull her out tomorrow itself."

Laksh nodded... " Let me talk to her... I mean apologize..."

Laksh moved away from the trio and dialled Ragini.She didn't pick... After a dozen of dials, Ragini cut his call and switched off her phone. Laksh sighed. He knew that her actions were justified. But the uncertainty inside him grew. He was scared of losing her. He took out the tablet from his pocket and swallowed it to keep him calm. He was careful that Sanskar doesn't see those tablets. No one should know about his weakness..

And as for Ragini... let her cool down... will scoop her away from Goenkas after Gautham's shaadi

Ragini saw Laksh's calls, she cut the call and put her phone on flight mode. Anger inside her was bubbling. His words ran in her mind like fire.It was miserable for her to recollect those words. She went to the gallery of her phone and looked at his picture.

" Where are we standing now, Laksh???" Tears dropped her eyes. Ragini swiped a few pictures of them and saw the picture of the medicine bottle. She almost forgot about this tablet. Ragini ran to the land phone and called up Rucha. Rucha's phone was switched off. Maybe she was busy with Amu. Something stopped her from calling Sanskar. Ragini sent a message to Rucha with the picture of the bottle. Rucha would reply when when she sees the message

"You are hiding many things from me Laksh....Otherwise you wouldn't have behaved with me like this... never .....I had this intuition from long......I can't take this anymore... I want answer... and I will get them tomorrow" Ragini was determined

Author's Note

So, We meet after a long time..Hope you all have been good...I have written this chapter to clear many confusions for our our characters about Goenkas. and for Laksh to realize his mistakes of hiding truth from Ragini. He realize a bit.. and the rest he will do in the next chapter. Even ragini will realize some of her shortcomings 

I know that this chapter is a bit hard on Raglak... But lets not get disheartened.. They will be good and better so...
