Ragini's head was spinning.She didn't know what was going on, where she was going ... ..nothing!!!. A cold blankness covered her. . She allowed Laksh to take control of her moments. Laksh made her sit in the passenger seat of his car, secured her belt and rushed to the driver's seat. Laksh drove out and hit the road in no time. Ragini saw a different kind of worry on Laksh's face. She could sense his nervousness. His body generated a unique kind of insecurity.

What had just happened??. Laksh drags her out of Sanskar' party with lame excuse. She tried to protest initially but gave in, sensing something odd in his behavior. Then a random lady comes and claims to be her mother, supported by a random Man.One thing was clear for her. They were not lying.It's not because she felt some kind of Mummy Daddy thing from them. In fact she felt very strange standing near them.She was easily convinced because she saw Laksh trembling. She could easily map from Laksh's face that he knew about this certain fact.

" They are my Parents............. Right??" Ragini asked gently.

Laksh stressed his leg on brakes, hearing Ragini's question. Laksh looked into Ragini's eyes.Her eyes were hollow. No feelings or hope .But Laksh's eyes displayed Anger, confusion and uncertainty.Ragini could see that Laksh was shaken internally, as if something catastrophic had unleashed and he has lost control over it.

" Yes" Laksh whispered, without breaking his eye lock with Ragini. Ragini felt that he was trying to read her mind, trying to inspect her feelings.

"How long have you been aware of this?" Ragini asked

"A week... The Day when we went to get Badi maa, to bring her for Sanky's marriage"

Ragini's throat tightened. She clearly remembers that day.. When Laksh and Badi Maa came hurt, and the next day, when that man named Sudharshan came to Maheshwari house.. She saw that man at the reception. She was wondering why Adarsh Bhaiyya's business partner, that too the lesser known partner, attended Sanskaar's reception. She convinced herself that, Sudharshan may be Gadodias' acquaintances too

" Does this have anything to do with you and Badi Maa getting Hurt that day."

Laksh nodded positive " Even Gautham was hurt that day."

"Did that man Sudharshan hurt you?? Is he connected to...." Ragini paused abit, " to them??

" Yes... I think he is their prime heck-man." Laksh said. He looked at her, waiting for her questions

" Laksh.... I want go home..." Ragini said, looking straight. Laksh was surprised by her words, He nodded and drove the car to Maheshwari Mansion maintaining silence.

Throughout the journey they maintained silence. And this silence was killing Laksh. The quietness with which Ragini was handling the matter...that too a matter that concerns her roots, disturbed him. He wanted her to talk to him, question him on why he hid the fact from her. But nothing of that sorts happened. She was awfully calm. And that exactly scared him. As far as he knows Ragini, If she is calm and quiet in the exterior, there is a storm inside her. Laksh couldn't bear this. But he knew that his feelings were not important, Right Now. But She was.Laksh decided to let things move according to her will.

As soon as they entered their room, Ragini got hold of her night dress and signaled Laksh that she was going to the washroom

" Don't bolt" Laksh said, with concern

" You know Na, that I dont bolt nowadays," Ragini said with a warm smile. That smile was a soothing factor for Laksh at the moment.

Ragini did not bolt her washroom's door, after her pregnancy started. During her initial days of Pregnancy , she had episodes of fainting and being nauseous. So, Sanskar suggested her to take care and not to bolt , while using the washroom, so they can help her, in case of emergency. It became a habit for Ragini. But now it was not only the matter of pregnancy. Laksh was really concerned about what is going in her mind.

" No Laksh.. No " Laksh murmured to himself, " You need to be strong Laksh.." He patted his cheeks with his palms..." You need to be strong for her...Everything will be fine. "

Laksh immediately changed into a white kurta and sleeping pants.He decided to keep things normal and easy. He ran through his rusty mind for ideas... Hot chocolate... His brain answered in a second.. He picked up his mobile and ran straight to their secret kitchen. He pulled out the tin of chocolate powder, a packet of milk from the fridge and sugar. He mixed them up and kept on fire to boil.

Suddenly Laksh's mobile rang. Screen flashed Sanskar's name

" Oh Shit... I dint call him after all this Ruckus.." Laksh slapped his head and answered the call

Laksh: Hello Sanky..

Sanskar: Hello Lucky... Where are you people??... Is everything alright??(sounding Desperate)

Laksh: Oh sorry Yaar... I couldn't call You.. We are home..

Sanskar: It's Ok... I know that the situation is bad... and you were concentrating on her... How is she?? How is she taking things???

Laksh: I don't know Yaar... She is just calm... Asked a few basic things... and then was silent ... I can't read her yaar...

Sanskar: Hmm.. It must have been a shock for her.

Laksh: Hmmm I know...I only wish that she shares it with me.. How is it there??

Sanskar: Drama... all around. That lady Mrs Goenaka was on her knees, crying like a maniac.. Maa, Papa , Swara and her people are a bit taken aback.. That Goenka lady was crying in front of maa... I freed her and sent her and papa with the Maheshwaris.

Laksh: Sorry for the mess Yaar...We ruined your Party

Sanskar: Shut Up Kuthe.... Take care of her... Me and Shona will be back in an hour.

Laksh: Hmm.... Sanskar... Can you call up Badi maa and ask her to come here tomorrow.I think she is the best one to explain things to Ragini.

Sanskar: Dont worry... Gautham already called her up and will bring her tomorrow...Chill everything will be fine.. Bye

Laksh: Bye

Laksh disconnected the call and went back to his hot chocolate. He poured the drink into two identical mugs and took some cheese biscuits with it in a tray and went to his room. He kept the tray on the teapoy near the couch. Ragini didn't come out yet. Laksh knocked on the door of the washroom

" Raghoo.... " Laksh called.." Is everything okay, Jaan??

Laksh waited for her response. After 15 second Ragini came out of the washroom and was looking pale. She changed into her night dress and was holding her party wear on her arm.

Laksh took the clothes from her hand and placed it on the dressing table. He went near her and lifted her chin

"Jaan..."

Ragini looked at Laksh and smiled weakly. She adjusted his arms and rested her head on his chest. Laksh could feel her hot tears on his chest, soaking through the fabric on him. Ragini clutched Laksh shirt with both of her hands...

" I am scared..." Ragini said between her sobs.. Laksh hugged her tightly to his chest...

" Heyy... Sh.. Sh.." Laksh stroked her hair and kissed on her head... " Don't cry... I am here for you...." Laksh unhugged her and cupped her face...

" Why are you scared???" Laksh clipped her hair strands behind her ear.

" I don't know..... I am just scared... I am not getting a good feeling..." Ragini said with tears oozing out of her eyes.Laksh made her sit on the couch and offered her a mug . Ragini took it with a smile and sipped.She moved towards Laksh and rested herself oh his chest.

"Laksh..."

" Haa.. Jaan"

"Will everything be alright??" Ragini asked

" Don't worry Jaan.... Everything will be fine" Laksh promised , Even though he knew that, this was the beginning of not being Fine.

"Ragoo, I know.. You want ask many questions to me....Just ask them... Talk to me.." Laksh urged.

" No... Not today..." Ragini denied..." I do have many things in my mind... But today i dont want to talk about it.. "

" But..."

" Laksh...." Ragini turned to him and placed her hand on his arm. "If you and Badi Maa decided to keep this from me.. I believe that there is a big reason behind it... and I want to trust your instincts .... So We will talk about this later...Today I want to sleep... I am tired"

She was indeed tired... emotionally. May be something was stopping her from knowing the truth. Laksh nodded and encircled her in a small hug and immersed in the moment . They sat their for a while. After that while, Laksh made her complete her hot chocolate. He picked up Ragini in his arms and placed her on the bed carefully, then sat next to her. He took her basic vitamin and Calcium tablets and offered.

" They are Yuck.." Ragini made a face. Laksh rolled his eyes and signalled her to eat. Ragini took them ,disinterested and mumbled under her breath. Laksh chuckled at her antics

" Is my Chotti Ragini kicking??" Laksh wanted to change the topic.. And the only thing powerful enough to keep Ragini away from that family of hers was their Baby. Ragini touched her belly .

" Here..." Ragini squeaked.." Keep your hand here" Ragini pulled Laksh's hand and kept it on the mark where baby kicked. Laksh face brightened and they were in their world, keeping all the worries aside for tomorrow.

Sanskar rushed to Laksh's bedroom with Swara following him. It was a bad night for them and Sanskar clearly instructed the Maheshwaris, not to disturb them. He believed that only Laksh can pacify Ragini. But he will have to call them out now.He knocked the door twice

" Lucky..." Sanskar called out for Response.

" Come In,.. Sanky " Laksh invited

Swara and Sanskar opened the door and entered RagLaks's room. Laksh was sitting on his bed with his back leaning on the headboard of bed. Ragini was sleeping on Laksh's lap . Laksh's hand was stroking on Ragini's hair.This was peace... Sanskar was sad that he was going to break this peace.

Laksh smiled, as SwaSan reached them.

" Lucky....." Sanskar stumbled. Laksh looked at him, waiting for him to continue.

" The Goenkas are here... They are waiting downstairs." Sanskar said. Laksh's face darkened a bit. He nodded.

" Jaan..." Laksh whispered and gently stroked Ragini's head. Ragini woke up clumsily and smiled at him. Laksh wiped strains of drool on her face. Ragini was then alert of Sanskar and Swara's presence.. She turned to them. Ragini was pretty embarrassed to show her no makeup early bird face to them. She quickly covered her face

"Good Morning Guys.." Ragini's voice came out muffled through her palms.

" Good Morning Ragini." Sanskar's voce was tensed. Ragini looked at him in confusion. This is not how her Sanky would greet her, when he finds her in such an embarrassed situation.Sanskar understood that expression

Laksh kept his hand on Ragini's shoulder. " We need to get down Raghooo... Your parents are here." Laksh said in a soft, yet disinterested tone. Ragini stiffened . Laksh held her hand and squeezed in assurance. She gave a very fake smile and got up from her bed.

Sanskar and Swara left RagLak's room, allowing them to get ready. Sanskaar was feeling empty, compared to Swara, who was very excited and happy. Poor girl, doesn't know the whole truth. She is genuinely happy that Ragini is getting back her family.Sanskar sighed. He can't tell her the truth yet..

Sanskar went down stairs , to the hall. Dadaji and Dadi Maa were seated on the sofa facing Mr. Ashok Goenka and his wife Parvati. Their attire was similar to his Dad and DadiMaa... Mr DD Goenka and his wife Janaki Goenka, were seated on the adjacent sofa. Facing them were Karthik Goenka and his wife Naira Goenka,. Thanks to Google... Sanskar was familiar with their faces

The Goenkas seemed to be different, when compared to Maheshwari's.DD and Karthik Goenka were in formals, while Janaki goenka wore a designer chiffon saree with heavy embroidered, sleeveless blouse, and Bahu Naira was wearing a simple white Kurti and jeans. Karthik Goenka seemed serious and calculative, while Naira Goenka had a diplomatic smile plastered on her face. The rest four Goenkas had big creases on their forehead. Janki Goenka was sniffing at regular intervals

Sujatha Maa and Ram Papa stood behind Dadaji, keeping their arms crossed over chest. They were really worried about Ragini. In fact they were disturbed by the manner in which Ragini was dragged by Laksh out of the party, the previous day. They were hoping that this meeting would bring a conclusion to whatever ill feeling Laksh was holding in his mind against Ragini's parents.It was very clear to the people present at the party that Laksh knew about Goenkas and all was not in the best opinion of them. Rest of the Maheshwaris, sparing Bua, were having fun. It's very rare that you get a Television serial type cliched Reunion of Parents and Kid. For a change , Bua..looked worried.

Ragini and Laksh descended down the stairs. Laksh was wearing a light blue shirt with jeans., while Ragini just covered herself with a simple pink chiffon saree and floral blouse contrasting the fabric. Her hair was held together by a messy bun and she was looking messy. Her arm was sliding through Laksh's arm. As. as soon as she got the glimpses of Goenkas, Sanskar saw her grip tightening against Laksh's hand. The Goenkas stood up with elated faces, except for Karthik Goenka, who was examining her thoroughly.

"Meri bacchi..." Janki Goenka said through her sobs and ran to Ragini, engulfing in a bone crushing hug. Due to the impact of that hug, Laksh's grip in Ragini's hand loosened.But in a nick of a second , Ragini caught his hand and tightened the grip. Sanskar, who was not feeling good about the arrival of Goenkas , fearing a crack in RagLak's relation, saw a hope, when Ragini still held Laksh's hand, while her estranged mother hugged her.

" Meri Beti.." Janaki Goenka unhugged Ragini and cupped her face and started kissing all over her face.Sanskar was having doubts on this Lady, was she the same lady, who betrayed Badi maa.... ??

" Where were you, my Dear.... Your mother was searching for you all these years....." Janaki Goenka cried while holding Ragini. DD Goenka came behind her and supported her. Ragini looked at them, as if they are saying some gibberish, still holding on to Laksh's hand. But her eyes were moist,which can indicate danger. DD Goenka came to her kissed her forehead

" Badi Maa..." Ragini called out. Sanskar traced Ragini's gaze. He could see a sudden brightness in Ragini's voice and eyes. Badi Maa, entered Maheshwari Mansion ,with Rucha, Gautham and Amrita. As soon as Badi Maa reached near her, Ragini hugged her tightly, with an overflowing eyes..She wanted help and Badi Maa was the only one who could help her.... And the only one who, they could trust.

Badi Maa released Ragini from the hug and wiped her tears...

" It's ok Dear... Everything is fine..." Badi Maa consoled her, keeping her hand on Ragini's head.

As the Badi Maa and Ragini moment was going on, Mrs Janaki Goenka snapped with rage. She pulled Badi Maa by her elbow.. And slapped her . Badi Maa lost her balance and was about to fall. Gautham , Rucha and Amrita supported her in the nick of time.Ragini was shocked , she stood at her position, covering her mouth with her palm, with Laksh supporting her., Sanskar And Sujji rushed to Annapurna

Bad maa straightened herself and looked at Janaki Goenka with unwavering gaze

" How Dare you Annapurna????" Janaki Goenka screamed " how dare you show me your face?? How dare you come in between me and my daughter after separating us for 25 years.... Beta..." Janaki Goenka turned to Ragini, who was standing still " She and her husband separated us... They snatched you from Us..." Janaki Accused.

" We were searching for you all these years..... Without knowing your whereabouts...." DD Goenka said, wiping his tears..." And here , she kept you in an orphanage.... She kept my daughter in an orphanage" He said in a defeated voice.

" What an actor this man is..." Sanskar thought... How he flipped the complete story. He was portraying things as if he was supposed to raise Ragini like a princess... No ... He was apparently going to sent Ragini to the widows, If Badi Maa dint take Ragini with her

"Your Husband stole my Baby.... To fulfill your dream... Your dream to become a mother". DD accused. "He wanted to give his childless wife a baby... So he stole my girl from us... He betrayed me... betrayed our friendship"

" Just shut up" Badi maa screamed.." Not a word against my husband... You have no right to insult him."

"And , you had the right to steal my daughter and stay hidden for twenty five years.... Hiding her parents from her...? Janaki Goenka screamed back....

" We dint steal my Ragini... She was given to us by your Husband" Badi Maa spit out

" Oh Really woman...." DD snapped.." You are saying that I would give you my precious newborn girl... My only girl child ... To You??... Why would I do that....Answer Me"

Laksh , Sanskar, Badi maa, and elder Arora siblings knew why Goenkass abandoned Ragini ... But they can't say it out.The Goenkas were never going to admit their superstitious reasons for abandoning Ragini... And Laksh was too scared that Ragini will be heartbroken if she comes to know that she was abandoned, or her brother... For being a girl..". While Ragini was sleeping, the previous day, Laksh constituted a Whatsapp group with the people who knew the truth. Badi Maa, Sansakar, Kunal, Gatham Amrita and Rucha.It was decided not to disclose this particular truth to Ragini.... And also about DP Mausji's death. Ragini may not survive the truth that her Badi maa's husband died for her... Even Though, Sanskar was against hiding things from Ragini, he had to give in... It was also decided that the truth will remain within this group. Swara, Sujatha Maa and Ram Papa , the emotional people around Ragini, were to be kept in the dark.

Laksh briefed Ragini the past in ignoring these two truths. He told her that She was given by Deen Dhayal Goenka to DP Arora, to take care of her. Later DP died a natural death, forcing Badi Maa to come back to Kolkata from Delhi with her. She contacted Goenkas, But the response was not favourable.So she left Delhi and settled in Kolkata at Orchid Orphanage with Ragini.This was the part of truth narrated to Ragini by Laksh.

" I don't know your reason ...But we never stole Ragini from You" Badi maa asserted, with tears trickling down her eyes...

"How thick skinned can you be Annapurna." Janaki snarled... " You dare to look into my eyes and say that we gave our daughter to you?.... You stole my daughter...and just disappeared...You are a witch...

" Aunty....please Mind your Language. Laksh Scowled." As far as i know Badi Maa called you the night she left Kolkata.... To hand over Ragini to you... and what did you. You informed your father in law., who ordered to muder Badi Maa.."

Ragini and Sujatha gasped hearing this new information

" What else were we supposed to do to the people who stole my baby" Janaki Goenka snapped.

" Really... This woman called you to hand over your baby still, you wanted to murder her??" Laksh raised his voice

" Hey There." Karthik Goenka entered the show with a growl " Don't you dare raise your voice on my mother. I wont tolerate it"

" Likewise, I wont tolerate anyone accusing mine" Laksh stood in protecting Badi Maa..

"Oh really... " Karthik chuckled." My mother cried for 25 years , she yearned for her daughter...all because of this lady.... And now she is standing front of my mother shamelessly...You really don't know, how my mother missed her for 25 years." Karthik said , ponting Ragini.

" And You really don't know How Badi maa raised me for 25 yeras..." Ragini said sternly.. Sanskar was relieved that his Raghoo Rani opened her mouth ... That too for Badi maa. Relief also flashed on BadiMaa and others face.

"Oh... I have seen that ... How your Badi maa raised you ... I have paper cuttings of yours... and a news article, with prostitutes standing with you.." Karthik chuckled

Sanskar saw Laksh tightening his fist and lunging at Karthik. Sanskar caught Laksh's hand

" This is her fight... Let her complete" Sanskar spoke through his eyes to Laksh.

" THAT. WAS . MY . MISTAKE." Ragini flared Up.." I chose a bad person for me....and she chose good person for me" Ragini said pointing Laksh

" Ragini Beta....This woman is a liar" DD Goenka accused Badi Maa

" My Badi Maa never lies" Ragini raised her voice. " I have seen her, my whole life... and she never lies..... But I can't really Believe you people"

" GREAT" Karthik clapped his hands.." Do you hear that Maa..."

" Ragini... We are not lying Beta..." janaki cried..

" Haa.. Beta....." DD Goennka supported " This Annapurna and DP snatched you from us... and we were searching for you all this while.."

" The man , I know as Mr. DurgaPrasad Arora, was not a man who couldn't get children to raise. He could have easily adopted anyone. Then why would he steal me from you... He is a man who would build homes for children... why would he snatch my home from me.... You guys are lying..." Ragini accused

"ENOUGH.." Karthik screamed and came in front of Ragini...Ragini flinched and lost her balance. Swara rushed and balanced Ragini. Swara threw daggers with her gaze at Karthik

"Stay Away" Swara hissed. ...

Laksh and Sanskar came in between SwaRagini and Karthik. Naira came running and tried to control the situation

Sujatha came near them supporting Ragini from other side

" Are you okay .. Baby Doll" Sujatha asked worried. Ragini nodded

" Maa... Forget Her..." Karthik snarled..." She has no respect for you and your tears.." Karthik said to his mother

" Karthik... Please calm down... Naira tried to calm Karthik. He nodded, trying hard to calm himself.Naira left him and came near Ragini.

" I know... It's difficult for you..." Naira kept her hand on Ragini's shoulder. " But Let's try to work this out..." Naira Goenka had a power to soothe things positively

" I don't know your Name" Ragini said to Naira

" Naira.." Naira said pleasantly

" Nairaji... I don't want to engage with people who accuses my Badi Maa" Ragini said clearly..

" You heard her Na Maa...." Karthik turned and caught Janaki Goenka's shoulder. Janaki Goenka was looking at Ragini with disbelief..." Papa... Lets Go" DD Goenka wiped his tears and nodded. Naira looked at Ragini with pity

Karthik went upto Ragini.Sanskar and Laksh came in between... Karthik ignored them and spoke

" You have hurt my mother..If you were not her daughter... I would have strangled you by now.. Don't ever show your face in front of us." Karthik spoke through his teeth

"If she is my wife.... You won't touch her" Laksh snapped...." I don't want any Goenka to come in front of her either." Laksh said. Laksh and Karthik glared at each other

Karthik had to literally drag Janaki Goenaka out of Maheshwari... She screamed Ragini's name... Ragini stood there with Sujji ma and Swara on her either sides. Laksh came near her and touched her shoulders. Ragini immediately buried her face on his chest and sobbed. Badi Maa stroked the back of her hair.

" Yeah... Ragini told them herself that she doesn't want to engage with them..." Laksh briefed Kunal on the phone.

"Ok .. That's good... and Take care of her and yourself.." Kunal repled

"Hmm... You too..." Laksh said

" Laksh... I am really sorry again for losing Sudarshan" Kunal apologised

" Come On Kunal... You did a lot for us .. and we will need you more now on" Laksh sad" I am sure that they didn't back down yet... But I am happy that Ragini doesn't want to meet them."

" I know... Don't worry.. I always be there for you..." Kunal said. Laksh disconnected the call. He was relaxed as he had Ragini's feelings in place.. She trusted Badi Ma.. and She didnt want to engage with Goenkas..Things are going fine... In this case this chapter will be over soon... Even if Goenkas try anything more... They fail miserably, Because Laksh has Ragini's feeling in control... She was calm and didn't want Goenkas..

Ragini wanted to hug her mother more... She wanted to talk to her father, play with her grandparents like Swara does...It is a truth that she dont like her brother.Because of his attitude and name... But her bhabhi was nice. Finally they came for Her... Her family... The previous day, when they revealed themselves,her feelings for them were void. But now she can't resist the urge to hug her mother.

But she can't go to them... A lot of confusions are dangling.... And they were insulting and accusing Badi Maa...that was not a good sign... Her Badi Maa was an honest lady and she knew that Badi maa dint steal her from Goenkas... Nor her husband D.P.... And would not do so... Something was mysterious about Goenkass.....May be both of them are telling  the truth...someone else is playing them.

On the other hand... She had seen Laksh being paranoid ,for some days... after bringing Badi maa for Sanskar's marriage, especially when Sudharahsna came. Now that she reads it all together, Laksh was super worried for her all along.So she should maintain distance with Goenkas, Even if she feels to meet them .She can't lose Laksh for them.

Ragini wiped her tears and splashed water on her face.She remembered her mother's crying face and burst into tears. She turned on the tap to mask her sobs...

A Help.... I read a Raglak  Ff on Swaragini  serial based, starting with the  Kavya track...where Laksh cheats Ragini and marries Kavya...Ragini moves to Baadi And finds out that she is pregnant..... i read it long back and forgot the name of the Ff..if u guys have any idea pls coment
