2 - Mythology

"Hey, Armin! What you reading?"

Armin looked up from his book, blinking as he glanced around for the source of the voice.

He smiled when he spotted Jean, eyes lighting up at the sight of his boyfriend ambling into the library, looking a little flushed, like he had run there.

"Hey Jean. Nothing much, just a book on Greek mythology. It's pretty interesting, actually." he mused, trying to speak quietly since they were in the public library.

Jean hummed, sitting behind Armin on the ridiculously squishy bean bag, wrapping his long limbs around his blonde boyfriend, resting his chin on his shoulder as he looked at the book.

"... Yes, Jean?" Armin sighed, after Jean let out a confused whine. Jean grunted, pointing to something on the right page.

"I don't get it, isn't that a flower?" he muttered, and Armin chuckled, smirking up at the clueless Jean.

"Yeah, but 'hyacinth' came from this myth. It's a love story with a tragic ending." he answered, sighing as he leant back further into Jean, letting the taller boy turn the page for him.

Jean hummed, listening as Armin recounted the tale of Hyacinth and Apollo, loving the way Armin's eyes shone as he enthusiastically told the tale, a small smile on his face he whole time.

Jean chuckled, kissing the back of Armin's neck lightly with a small smirk.

"Let's go, Min, I want you to tell me more about the Greeks while there isn't an old lady giving me the evils in the corner."

"Well maybe you shouldn't be so loud in a library then."

"I know ways we can be as loud as we want."

"... Jean, no."
