II

JAZZ LEANS over Sweet Pea's shoulder, watching him play his stupid video game. He grunts a little when he barely avoids a punch but slams his hands against the machine when his character is killed.

"Relax there Sweet Pea," Jazz teases, putting a hand on his back, "You'll get em next time."

The boy smiles, turning around so he's leaning against the machine, "I'd like to see you try."

She scoffs and rolls her eyes, shoving the boy away from the game. Inserting a quarter, she starts the game, her eyes focused on the screen.

Sweet Pea smirks as right away she gets hit.

"Shut up, Sweet Pea," Jazz says, not looking away from the game and moving her character.

"I didn't say anything!" he exclaims, the smirk on his face staying.

"I feel your smirk. Not shut your mouth and let me do this."

After a few more motions, the girl's character jabs at the other one final time. The word 'Victory' comes on screen and Jazz grins, turning around to face Sweet Pea.

"There ya go. Now don't underestimate me," she says, watching her friend laugh.

"Alright. Alright. I got it princess," he smiles down at her.

Jazz opens her mouth to say something but her phone buzzes in her jean pocket. She quickly takes it out and glances over the screen. Her grin falls and she shoved her phone back into the pocket.

"I'll be right back," she says, walking across the room and out the door.

"Okay then," Sweet Pea says, rolling his eyes and turning back to the game.

The blonde walks out into the night, small streetlights showing her the way. Jazz turns a corner, behind a drugstore to see a figure not facing her. She crosses her arms and stands with her legs shoulder-length. The fun playful demeanor from the girl was now gone. Now it's replaced by her tough exterior.

"Alright," she says, watching the man carefully as he turns around, "Take your hands out of your pockets. Don't make this hard for yourself."

The man scoffs as he catches sight of the short blonde girl who seems to have no muscle under her leather jacket. He rubs his chin, a small grin on his face, not believing that someone would send out a teenager to handle this.

"Oh princess. I can make it real tough for you," he eyes her up and down, a small glint in his dark eyes.

Jazz tilts her head as she slowly walks towards the man. Her face blank, not showing any sign of being scared or intimidated. She reaches him and suddenly breaks out into a creepy smile.

"Oh, really? That's great. This isn't a masculinity test. Our client wanted one thing. Do you have it?" The girl makes her question seem more like a statement.

Again, the man scoffs and looks down at her, "Yeah. I have it. Where's the money first."

The blonde stays in front of him, the creepy smile still on we face as she raises her right hand to graze the stranger's cheek, "Oh honey. You must think I was born yesterday. The thing first then the money."

"I can't trust a fucking kid," he says, stepping away, trying not to let his face reveal that he was actually creeped out.

"I can bet that I've been through more things than you could imagine. You may be looking at a small, petite little girl but look into my eyes," she grabs his jaw with strong hands, forcing him to look at her, "I can easily kill you."

"Alright. Alright," he steps away, taking out an object covered in tissue paper, "Like you asked. All covered. No questions. No evidence."

Jazz reaches under her shirt and takes out the envelope that was secured under her bra. She takes the object and throws the envelope to him.

"Do what you want with the money. But if you tell one person about this. You will regret it," she finishes and walks away.

The blonde puts the object underneath her serpent jacket and zips it up. She discreetly holds it there and takes the long way back to her trailer, just in case she was being followed.

Jazz drops everything off and hurries back to the White Wyrm.

"Another dash with no excuse?" Toni walks up to her, arms crossed.

"I told you. I do my business. You do yours. Now, don't say anything to Sweet Pea. He's already stressed enough," the blonde says, walking up to the boy.

"Hey princess where were you?" Sweet Pea smiles at his friend, leaning against the pool table.

"FP wanted me to tell me something. No big deal."

"Alright."
